Tinania didn't want to hear his words, only because she knew they were true. Nothing would stop her from staying here if she fell in love with him. Closing her eyes she breaths in slow before she opens them, only to see him walking away.
Shaking her head she moves, breaking into a sprint to close the gap between them. Reaching out for his hand she slips her hand into his "I'm sorry..I'm scared Lucas, I'm scared at how right last night was..." pulling her hand back she stood there hoping he would stop and turn towards her.
She knew that if something were to happen between them, she couldn't stop it. Not that she would try to, she believe in second chances at love, what if this was both hers as well as his?

Lucas stopped turning to look at her. "You're forgiven," He said gently, touching her hand with his own before taking it and leading her back to his home. He walked her inside and motioned to the table. "You should eat..." He said.
Moving to sit himself he took another sip from his ale. "It will give you some strength, you've had a trying few days..."

Tinania glances over at the food before she looks away "Can we talk Lucas, I promise I will eat later." biting at her bottom lip she was looking down at her hands as she spoke. She was nervous and scared all at the same time. Scared that she made a huge fool of herself, nervous that she might do the wrong thing and won't get a second chance.
Shaking her head she swallows before she blurted out what was on her mind "LucasIlikeyoualot, andidon'twanttomessupachancetoknowyou, butatthesametimeIdon'twantto get hurt."she continue to look down at her hands. She was trembling and wanted to bolt.

Lucas looked up at her and smiled. "I like you a lot too Tinania.... And I would hope that I wouldn't cause you any harm..." Looking down at his ale glass and taking a long drink from it before he sighed.
"If you want to just forget about last night.... I will understand... I won't like it, but I will understand."

Tinania looks up shaking her head, moving towards him she takes his ale only for a moment. Slipping into his lap she hands the ale back to him as she wraps her arms around his neck, hugging herself close to him "I don't want to forget about last night. I felt alive, and I can't forget about it." pulling back her cheeks were flushed as she looks at him.
"Lucas, i was scared the moment you said you could fall in love with me. That word it scares me." looking down she was trembling once again "I heard it so much that got hurt..."

"I said I could... I didn't say I would... Perhaps we will only stay like we are now... Not friends... but more... but not... Truly together. I do not know, only time will determine what will happen between us." He brushed her cheek with his hand.
"You'll be here all winter... Time enough for us to find out what we need to know about each other to determine if we are right for one another..." He shook his head slowly. "Until then, just relax and let time decide."

Tinania nods before she leans in brushing her lips against his. She was so comfortable with him, that was another thing that scared her. She was already wanting to be close to him and learn everything about him. Shaking her head she hides her face against his neck. Breathing slowly she looks up at him biting at her bottom lip "Lucas, what if we do? Come spring..." she didn't say anything else as she looks away from him.
Moving she seem like she was about to slip away from him again.

Lucas wrapped his arms around her lightly, and sighed. "Come spring, you will either stay or go... I will either stay or go... There are many possible ways things could turn out... Don't worry about it right now, what will be will be..."
Rubbing her side he sighed, putting his ale down to massage her side.

Tinania shakes her head before closing her eyes "I couldn't ask you to leave your home Lucas, not for me. Even if we fell in.." biting at her bottom lip she shivers before she relaxes in his arms. Moving alittle she turns to brush her lips over his in a tender kiss.
Pulling back she blushes as she shakes her head "Call it my flaw, I don't like not knowing what will happen to me." kissing his nose she lifts her hand to run it through his hair "I guess I just need to learn to trust what you say.."

"I would hope that you do, else we're in for a very long winter," Lucas chuckled, running a finger down her cheek slowly, as if experementing with it. He smiled at her and closed his eyes for a few moments just sitting there, his arm around her tightened and pulled her closer.

Tinania chuckles before she shakes her head. Pulling away she brushes her fingers over her sweater before looking over toward the bags she had brought in "I should get those put away. I don't want any of them to wrinkle." picking up the bags she bites at her bottom lip "Um hope you don't mind I put these on a tab." moving quickly from the room she heads into the bedroom.
Pulling out the clothes she had at least ten sweaters, six pairs of pants, two coats, a scarf, gloves, and the one purple elven dress. All of it was small forture.

Lucas had followed her, and was watching her empty the bag. "Good lord woman..." He said gently. "That's almost a month's pay!" He was actually joking... It was a lot of money yes, but he made more in a month than most of the townfolk... And in reality, they functioned more on barter than on coin, so it really wasn't as big a deal as he made it out.
"Next you'll be wanting jewels I suspect," He chuckled, unable to keep it serous any longer.

Tinania bites at her bottom lip before she shakes her head "I'll pay you back I promise. And no I'm don't want jewels. I have enough of those, but do you know anyone who wants some? I'm more then willing to give them away." turning away she picks up the dress carefully brushing the wrinkles from it.
Looking back at Lucas she smiles "Is it alright if I place this in your closet?" batting her eyes she looks down at the dress again "Um unless you um still want me to sleep on the couch."

Lucas laughed, and shook his head. "No, we have no need for jewels here," He moved to her, looking at the dress clicking his tongue as he walked. "I don't know..." He tapped his chin. "Do you think you're willing to share a bed with me? It can get really cold at night, especially when winter comes along..."
He ran his finger over the dress and chuckled. "Tho watch, one of my fellow Rangers find a dress in my closet, that'll bring up some very interesting questions."

Tinania blushes before she folds the dress in half "Well I don't want all your fellow rangers asking you questions. I guess I could sleep on the couch." looking away she attempts to pouts as she steps pass him. Running her hand through her hair she lets out a small sigh.
She knew she was being evil, but she wanted him to let her in his bed again.
