ashlander_alpha Gravechylde Digital Malevolence Gravechylde Digital Malevolence Yeah, I never said I agreed, I only heard that arguement. and in almost all gothic metal bands I've heard, theres black metal elements in almost all gothic metal bands, even in; Type O, Within Temptation, PoisonBlack, and Tristania....I never really listened to Paradise Lost. I haven't heard any in Poisonblack, or Paradise Lost (I haven't listened to the others too much). Poisonblack is more along the lines of Heavy/Post-thrash. Hmm, I suppose you're right.....but I would say its safe to agree that a good 75% of Gothic Metal has black metal influences and elements. I'm not really familiar enough with the genre to really say. Well then it's a wonderful thing that lyrics don't make genres.
