Chyna ran through the streets. Her powers emerging was new, and her parents had just resorted to some school. They had worried extremely over their daughter. The marvelous school they had read about looked nothing more than scraps. But to Chyna, it looked like a home. A victorian house she wanted herself as her home. "Freakin' parents. Made me sign up late...too late. I wonder if I'll even be accepted because of them. UGH!!" she grumble to herself as she hurry down the road. Finally the victorian wonder appear before her and she spring lightly up the steps, her hair wind-blown from her run. Her hand pause slightly over the knob, then she throw the door open with much force. She step over the threshold and her breath catch in her throat. It was marvelous...more grand than she expect. "Crap! I need someone to give me my classes. This sucks..." She continue to mumble and rant quietly as she step through the halls. Hopefully someone would be there for her assistance.

Liriale was about to begin her lesson when an urgent knock came from the door leading to the doctor’s office. The nurse, Madam Bone, was a plump affable middle-aged nurse who had patched up Liriale’s wounds when she attended the school. “Doctor Montoya?” she called as she opened the door and popped her head in. “Ah, there you are, please come quickly, we have a child with third degree burns on his right hand.” Madame Bone informed Liriale.
“Here,” Liriale said as she plopped the water spheres into each of the girls’ outstretched hands. “Practice converting the spheres into the different water phases and back, then create an ice sculpture, and when I come back we shall give them life and see what happens” Liriale spoke as she made her way to the door Nurse Bone held open. There, in the office sitting on a patient bed, was a young boy of about 13 holding up his charred hand and sniffing slightly. The sniffling immediately ceased and his expression changed into a scowl, when he spotted Liriale. She sighed and quickly donned on her white coat and a pair of gloves. “His name is Nathan LeFran, he is an air student.” Madam Bones informed her as Liriale withdrew a flask of water from a medical tray and walked towards the boy. Liriale moved a rolling stool with her foot and sat upon it while she uncorked the flask and poured the water into her left hand where it hovered then spun around into a sphere. “Let me see your hand,” Liriale softly ordered. The boy stared at her for a moment then must have concluded that he did need her help, for he outstretched his arm towards her. Liriale inspected the wound, which engulfed his entire palm and undersides of his fingers. The skin was lost and the underlying muscle and fat burnt. Liriale made the sphere of water flatten and surround the hand. The boy closed his eyes, but there was no pain just the soothing feeling of cool water. Liriale on the other hand searched for salvageable cells, but the outlook didn’t look bright. “Your nerve endings in the burnt area were destroyed, along with sweat glands and more tissue. You will have no feeling in this area anymore, but it is better than not having the ability of motor movements.” She informed the boy. Luckily his ligaments and tendons were saved and….very cold. “Hmmm, how did this wound occur?” she asked Nathan as she turned to Madam Bone and requested sterile dressings. Nathan opened his mouth quickly closed it on second thought, then slowly said, “That professor did it, the one with the cloak and metal. He set his book on fire when I touched it.” Liriale’s eyebrows rose slightly, punishment by use of elements was a capital offense for a teacher, Liriale would need the professor’s side of the story before she could report this incident to the Headmaster. “Was there a problem between you and this teacher?” Liriale asked softly. Nathan stared back then shifted his eyes away and slowly shook his head. “Hmmmm,” She wondered. There had definitely been something that happened between the two, but she could tell that Nathan was not going to divulge any further information. “Well Mr. LeFran, for the time being you are to keep this gauze and bandage on, in three days come back so we can see how it has healed. Keep your arm in this sling so you do not accidentally use it, keep it dry, and do not, I repeat do not pop any blisters. If any show up, then come here and we will treat it, alright? Be careful or it will become acutely infected and we will have to chop it off!” Liriale sternly warned him as the wrapped water around his hand was finally absorbed into his skin, then covered lightly with gauze and placed in an arm sling. The boy nodded an affirmative and was ushered out by Nurse Bones. Liriale sighed and turned to return to her own class, tossing the white coat back onto the coat rack near the door.
She found Phenia and Lilith sitting down next to the pond on green yoga mats that Liriale had placed there. The two girls huddled excitedly over the ice creations and grinned at Liriale when they turned to see her approaching. Liriale sat down beside them and discovered that Lilith had created a small detailed ballerina figurine frozen in her rapid turn on her ballet toes with hands gracefully out scratched and leg bent in inwards, resting on her left thigh. Phenia, to her surprise and delight created a long Chinese dragon. “Well, let us see how they perform!” Liriale clapped with equal excitement. Giving each sculpture a light tap with her finger, she watch with amazement as the tiny ballerina pirouetted across the floor sending snowflakes flying from her tutu every time she twirled. Lilith said in a soft excited voice, “It so pretty!” The slithered along on tiny clawed feet then found its way into the pond where it dived in and began to swim around scaring the two the larger koi. “It’s so awesome!” Phenia cheered as her dragon spout out water like a small water pistol. The three of them watched until the creations melted into puddles. Liriale wielded the puddles back into two golf ball sized spinning orbs. “Well, that was enjoyable, but now let us return back to where we stopped.”
“Phenia, take this orb of water,” she said as she tossed the revolving mass towards her. Quickly, Phenia caught the orb without spilling a drop. “Now, I want you to tag every ‘living multicellular organism in this room’, with a stream line of water.” With equanimity, Phenia took in a deep breath as her hands kept the spinning sphere balanced in between. She closed her eyes and began to sense out reservoirs of water. In her minds eye she could see the pond and the air saturated with water, but that isn’t what she was looking for. Refining her search she could see an almost infrared-like image of Liriale, though instead of temperature sensitivity it was geared towards water distribution. Liriale’s body was composed of different shades of blue denoting the highest accumulation of water in light blue while it slowly changed into darker shades and ultimately black as water decreased in concentration. Using her sensing skills, Phenia began to scout out the room and continued until she was satisfied that her scan picked every ‘multicellular organism’ in the room, some were obvious, and most were not. She let her hands move further apart, then when she opened her eyes the tiny sphere exploded into water tentacles that whipped out in different directions as they searched for their individual designated organism. Liriale reached out her hand and tendril of water latched on creating a bond between her and the sphere. Through that, Liriale could feel the process, and smiled secretively to herself as she noted, “Just as I thought.” Another tendril of water whipped out and stuck to Lilith’s forehead as she let out a squeak. Soon all the animals in their cages and the koi were attached with tentacle-like streams of water. “Done.” Phenia said as she preserved the orb and its connections.
Liriale looked around the room. “Ah, I see you spotted the cockroach hiding under bench, good good, and you caught the fly and spider in the corner.”
“Alright, wonderful, return the streams back to the sphere, hold onto it and please sit down next to me Phenia. Now, Lilith your turn.” Liriale said as she tossed the second orb to her. Lilith had a wet drip running down her forehead as she caught the spinning orb. “Now,” Liriale began as she reached down to pick up a rock from the pond, which was the size of a large grapefruit. “I will toss this rock into the air, I want you to catch it by using only the water in that sphere, then break the rock, again by only using the water contained in that orb. I don’t want little cracks, I want you to break it into pieces. Alright? Ready?” At Lilith’s nod, Liriale tossed the rock into the air away from where they stood. Lilith bent the water in her orb releasing two whip like water tentacles that pinned the rock on opposite sides, holding it suspended in the air. She then let out four more tentacles, which shot out with force and hit the rock at different angles and sides, but all pointing, no…drilling powerfully into the middle of the rock. Soon deep cracks appeared and then the rock shattered sending pieces flying out. The girls gasped and covered there faces, but Liriale had already planned on a counter shield by taking some water out of the pond and orb sending it upward to engulf the crumble bits of rock. She then lowered the pieces into a pile on the ground, replacing all the water, even the one Phenia held, back into the pond.
“Well, both of your manipulation powers are impressive. Phenia, your performance was an excellent show of concentration and skill as you not only needed to scout out water accumulation and filter out the true organisms, but you had to maintain the complex web of water. It shows that you have the needed focus and have fine-tuned your power to hold constant grip on it. Lilith you showed incredible amount of power and force that were held under control and focused exactly where you wished."
“In this class, we will learn how the expand our powers into larger and more powerful forms as well as understand the healing aspect water has, however these techniques in the wrong hands can be used for more sinister results. My goal in this class is to open your eyes to the repercussion your actions with water manipulation have. Phenia, when you began to siphon off the water orb into water lines linking to all the appropriate organisms, you realized that you did not have enough water. To balance and maintain the stream of webs, you had to borrow some water from each organism. That is where the consequence of your action lie, it was subtle and could be overlooked because it was only a tiny amount. But under other circumstances when one is rushed or not paying attention, the results could have been more severe, leading to dehydration and ultimate failure of the organism’s body. Lilith, the aftermath of your powers left us exposed to potentially harmful and deadly projectiles of rock. This effect was a little more obvious. These little tests show in conclusion, that we must plan ahead for the effects our powers and actions may have when used.” Liriale looked at each of them sternly, but softened her expression. “But, do not be discouraged, this was done to open your eyes. We will work on it further so both of you can develop a sense for it, and be always prepared, cautious, and knowledgeable about the strength of the gift over water."
“Well,” Liriale said as she rose, “I hope you enjoyed your first day of class, tomorrow we will finish what I had planned for today. I will let you out a little early today, with some homework of course.” Liriale picked up her packets of paper and handed it to Phenia and Lilith then waved goodbye to her new students. Liriale returned back to her office to find a note left by Madam Bones, informing that she had gone out for lunch. Liriale stretched her arms and went back to her abandoned half cleaned out suitcase as she waited for the lunch bell to ring before she went in search of Leah and the mysterious person Nathan spoke of.

Leah watched as the new student slowly situate into her seat. “This will be interesting; usually those with the gift of air manipulation live in the fast lane so to speak. Speed and wind were instantly attained and desired. The feeling one gets from the freedom and rush were enthralling. Yet this student seemed to enjoy the slow life, where one takes pleasure in using the least possible amount of energy for anything. It will be exciting to see how she performs in the class,” Leah thought to herself. “Well, since this is Intermediate Air Manipulation we will hone in on our abilities of the wind, and convert it into speed. The mastery of both as well as the knowledge and skill on using both in combinations will be your only tools in the test to achieve entrance into the Expert class. First will shall begin with roll call, and then we will head to the mats at the back of the class, where each of you will show the class a demonstration of your skills in wind manipulation. Now, please raise your hand or answer 'here'.”

Mr. Eccentricity The Headmaster went into his office, sat down, and shuffled through papers. However, something caught his eye. As he examined the paper, his eyes widened as he realized his mistake.
"I assigned two teachers to Expert Water???" he exclaimed in shock, horrified and ashamed by his mistake. Immediately he stood up and rushed out the door, heading for 3D.
Once he arrived, he opened the door calmly, though his emotions were of the opposite. He waited for the man to finish speaking, then walked up to Mr. Prior and began to whisper in his ear.
"Excuse me, but could I speak with you outside? I deeply apologize for the interruption," he asked, deeply sorry. Once the teacher has followed him outside the classroom, he closed the door and began to speak.
"I have a little...problem concerning the water classes, and it due to my own negligence. I have accidentally scheduled two teachers to teach the Expert Water class, you and Ms. Montoya downstairs in 2C. I apologize for this, but you talk with her and change your classes? One of you should have Beginner, and the other should have Intermediate and Expert. I will supervise your class in the meantime," he explained. The teachers would have to meet immediately, and he could substitute for him while he went down to Ms. Montoya's room. He awaited a conformation from Mr. Prior. Jake looked to the Headmaster with a suspicious look then shrugged in dismissal of his mistake. "Sure, I'll see what Ms. Montoya and I can fix up. Plus I have yet to meet other members of the staff aside from the teachers I've had in my years here." A grin slipped through his control and wondered how they were...clearly they were avoiding their old student now that he was one of them. Pushing the thought to the back of his head he nodded to the headmaster, in compliance that he would solve it as soon as possible...which, quite frankly, was that instant. The young man turned towards the stairs and headed for it to see what he could do and what Montoya wanted to do... Aside from that Jake had many friends among the students and all had their own opinions on the Biology Teacher. Jake was heading off not only to fix the schedule, but to also test the waters.

Akira walked on to the campus her long wavy black hair blowing in the wind. She wore a pair of black pants and a bright blue shirt. Her dark blue eyes took in all the magnificent sights to see at her new school. She smiled and walked over to a bench and took a seat. She watched as numerous people hurried to classes and such. She smiled to her self. Akira could tell she was going to like it here. She couldn't wait to start to tone her skills at magic. She pulled out a carton of Marbro Menthol Smooths and pulled out a cig. She snapped her fingers and a flame appeared. She held it to the tip of her cig and lit it. Akira filled her lungs with the gas and slowly exhaled enjoying the first drag.
Akira watched as a girl played with a dog in the field next to her. The people here seemed nice but no one had com up to her yet. She pondered weather or not it was okay to smoke where she was. She shrugged and figured someone would come and tell her if she wasn't allowed too. Akira pulled out her ipod and searched for the song she wanted to listen to. She swayed to the beat of the hip hop song.

She stick her hands in her pockets and exhale sharply. Her eyes swept across the halls and over the doors. 1A, 1B...it kept on going. Chyna pause slightly before heading up the flight of stairs. She kept on her search for help. No one. Everything seemed quiet except for her breath and her footsteps. There was no muffled voices that you would hear coming from a room with a closed door. No silenced footsteps or the tinker of water running from a faucet. I wonder...if I am the only one here. What if I am? What if I'm the only one with these specialties. No, no of course not. Why would they have made a school if there was only one? Besides, I'm late. She kept contemplating the fact she might be the only one. She kept agreeing and disagreeing with the statement. Waging a war on the fact while trying to stop the fight. Possibly there would be someone as young as her. She doubt it. Maybe a year or so older but not younger. She spring up another flight of stairs. After she climb to the top she rest her head on the wall and close her eyes, breathing in and out deeply. "Oh...this might be a problem. Finding someone." She breathe out through her nose and open her eyes, heading down the hallway with a sigh. She knew that starting late would be a problem.

The Headmaster nodded back and smiled. He knew Jake very well, being the Headmaster all these years, and he knew that he would be eager to see that teachers on a common level now.
Once Mr. Prior walked away, the Headmaster headed into 3D without hesitation. When he first entered, the students were socializing and playing loudly, as he assumed they would have. Nevertheless, when he stood in front of the classroom, the few Expert students in the room noticed his presence and managed to quiet down everyone else. Once the room was quiet and everyone has their gaze on him, he cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Hello, everyone," he said with a smile. "For those that do not know me," and those were few, "I am the Headmaster of this university. Now, your teacher will be back shortly. He has a matter to clear up with another teacher. Until he gets back, I will be substituting. Before I begin, I will say one thing: some of you may have to transfer to another class," he stated simply, not giving anymore details. "Now, let us begin."
~~~
Tsuki could not BELIEVE it. She stared at her clock, willing it not to be 9:00. But all her willing and water magic could not change the truth: she had forgotten to turn on her alarm. Hurriedly, she her schoolgirl clothes on, fixed her hair, and brushed her teeth, taking up a small ten minutes. However, running from the dorms to 3D still took some time. She grabbed her backpack off a chair, left her room, locked the door, and sprinted to the stairs. Not wanting to slip on the marble steps, she took her time climbing them. Once she had risen to the second floor, she dashed to 3D and opened the door slowly, not wanting to disturb anything.
"I-I'm sorry..." she began in her soft, timid voice. Much to her surprise, the Headmaster was there, again.
~~~
As soon as the Headmaster pronounced the beginning of his class, who should enter the room but Tsuki, obviously worn out from running. He could tell she was genuinely sorry, for he knew Tsuki well, so he motioned her inside with his fingers. Besides, even if she was someone else, it was more than likely he would have let them it without punishment. After all, it was the first week of school.
~~~
Bowing once before rushing to the nearest empty seat, Tsuki was extremely grateful for his forgiveness. Quickly, she took out her pencil and notebook, grateful that they had not started anything just yet. Once she had settled down and caught her breath, she noticed how peculiar it was that he had substituted for her class three days in a row. 'But...hadn't they said I would have a teacher today?' she wondered. The situation was quite odd, indeed.
~~~
Once she was seated, the Headmaster began, "Mr. Prior will be starting you off from wherever he chooses." For the past two days, he had been lecturing out of the textbook, so he hoped that Mr. Prior would start somewhere there. However, if he did not, the Headmaster would not interfere. He never meddled in his teacher's lessons, unless they were too dangerous for the level. He had trust in his teachers, and he did not hire just anyone.
"Let us start where we left off. Turn to page twenty and begin reading," he instructed. Once everyone got their books out and began to read, he sat down and supervised, making sure everyone was on task.

“Ha! I’m done!” Liriale proclaimed triumphantly as the empty suitcase was tucked into the closet. She rose and checked the time, noting that there was still a good amount of time left before lunch. “I guess I’ll go feed the animals,” she decided and headed back into the classroom. As described before, there was a good assortment of animals, well 20 to be accurate. There were hamsters, mice, rats, snakes, turtles, frogs, toads, newts, gecko, and many fishes.

Jake arrived at the room labeled 2C, and he sensed...a lot of water. It confused him a little but he knocked on the door anyway. Straightening out his clothes and such he waited for some kind of surprise. Though, he did have time to imagine a young woman about his age answering the door in an outfit that showed off more on this warmer than usual Autumn morning.

Her feet creaked the stair steps as she sprung up to the third floor. She step past 3A, 3B, 3C...until she reach 3D. She almost past it until she saw people. A more elegant looking man supervising his pupils. Someone to help her. "Finally," she sigh, leaning against the door post and waiting until the first class was over. To keep herself busy she try translating 'Jingle Bells' into German. She spoke a medium amount of German, enough so that if she went into the country she'd be as fine as a regular civilian. Maybe the man who she thought to be the teacher would see her, and her job of waiting would be cut short. As long as he didn't infer she was part of this class. For everything she knew, she estimated that she more than likely wasn't.

Everything was going well in the class the Headmaster was supervising. Only a few students had started whispering to each other. A five-second stare from the Headmaster, however, shushed them up.
In the corner of his eye, he could see Chyna Rose wander by the door and lounging there. Immediately, he stood up and walked over to the door, glancing once at his students to keep them on task before opening the door.
"Can I help you, Miss Rose?" he asked her, concerned about why she was not in class. Though he could imagine why, considering it was her first day at school.

"Eh?" Liriale looked up when she heard a knock on the door. She had Mr. Jakabee, a grey long-haired hamster, nestled in her hands. Placing him gently in one hand, she motioned a stream of water from the pond to shot out towards the door. With some tricky hand movements with her left hand while trying not to wake sleeping Jakabee in her right, she manipulated the water to pull open the door and return quickly back into the pond. “Come on in!” she called from the far side of the classroom. “Maybe Phenia or Lilith had a question on the homework?” she wondered as she returned to stroking Jakabee’s fur.

Jake entered and looked about. Spotting Liriale on the otherside of the room, his gaze lowered from the back of her head to just below her waistline. He resisted the urge to whistle his amusement of the nicely shaped rear end and he raised his eyes back to the back of Ms. Montoya's head. Approaching her he kept himself at bay. "I'm Jake from room 3D upstairs, and I need to..uhm..." God it's so hard not to look! He thought to himself, but managed. "Uhh...I need to discuss with you the matter of classes."

“Classes?” Liriale repeated as she set the drowsy hamster back into his cage. She reached for some antibacterial hand lotion then turned around to appraise the matter ‘Jake’ had come to talk about to her. As she rubbed her hands together with the lotion, she evaluated her visitor. “Hmmm, he looks very familiar, I wonder if he went to school here as well?” Liriale thought to herself. “Well Jake,” she said as her hip leaned slightly against the counter then continued to say, “What is the problem?”

Amaya slowly opened her eyes and grumbled realizing she had been asleep for some time. Opening the lid of her coffin she claimed out and shook herself trying to work out the kinks. She had hidden the coffin in a catacomb she made below her training room. Shifting through the earth, she appeared into her training room before climbing the stairs upwards towards her class room. 'How long was I out,' she thought to herself.
