Sweat continued to drip all along her body as she gave her clone another few good pulses of her chakra, letting it wrap around the form. Etna was right, the chakra was doing well in aiding her. It helped her shape herself and it was giving her clone the color it needed to look like her identical twin. Smiling at her achievement, she walked around it, keeping it in palce, to make sure there were no flaws she needed to get rid of or smooth out before she could rest in this hell of a building. "Alright. I think I'm good for now... What's the next step?"

Etna glanced back to the girl. Such a useless respondse. Learning something just to be learning it. Not taking into consideration is usefulness or lack there of. It made Etna’s face scrunch up in annoyance. This was one of the reason’s she like Roy. When he learned a jutsu, he thought it out and researched it’s usefulness so that each and every jutsu he learned was valuable to him and not just a gloating point. He understood the meaning of the phrase Quality over Quantity. This girl however… she didn’t even know WHAT they were doing in there and she wanted in…
“Fine. You want to learn I’ll teach you but in exchange you have to be my slave for such a time as I see fight. Since you already know your main element clones…” Etna tossed a piece of paper to the girl. “take this and relax and let your chakra flow into it. It’ll tell me your second element. After that, you start your training. If this price is to high for you then leave…” And with that, she turned back to the building and continued licking her paw.
Roy sat down for a moment. All this was starting to get to him. The heat at least. He took a deep breath and began to look about. He glanced to the girls and then grinned a little, “Oy, why don’t you two take off your shirts? It’ll give me something to distract me from the heat… oh and I guess you’ll be cooler too.” He laughed a bit and turned back to the ground before him, not really caring if they responded or not.
Once again, his hands move to form the seal of the tiger and he was focusing again. His mind had to deal with the heat but it wasn’t very easy considering he was sweating like a pig. Droplets of sweat fell down his face and landed on his clothes. He hated the heat… hated it with a passion. Even the heat from the ground was starting to get to him. He had to stand back up as it was getting a little too hot to be sitting there. He realized it was because of the soil itself being heated by Cerberus’ breath outside. It was traveling through the mounds of heat outside and acting as an oven to insulilate and transfer the heat into the building. So it was a two stage attack. Heat from outside and then the temperature of the ground rising… what a lovely little day this was turning out to be.

A hacking cough left Roy’s throat. A few beads of sweat left Roy’s brow as he fell to his knees. Maybe this was cosmic retribution for the shirt prank earlier. Maybe it was because he hung around Etna too much and now he had a furball. Whatever it was, it hurt like hell. He knew he didn’t like the heat and this was one of the reasons. It took a moment for him to gather himself up and begin to rise again. Deep, slow breath’s left Roy’s throat and allowed him to stand back up eventually. He soon regained his composure.
Glancing about, his eye’s feel upon the two girls for but a moment to let them know he was ok. After taking his time to gather his thoughts, he began to focus once more upon the soil. The chakra slipped from his body, down through his legs and out his feet to the ground around and in front of him. He was pushing it out to both form the mold and fill it to see if he could get this going properly.

First the ball rose before him. It lifted and shifted about in front of him and then it began to take form. The soil began to rise and take form. First the arms began to be shifted and formed from the soil and next the legs were shaped. Roy kept his eyes closed as he focused his chakra into the soil to get more and more of the form. The chest was the next thing to form as it went from the blockyness of the soil to be more realistic and closer to his shape. Even his clothes began to be mimicked by this freaky mound of dirt and rock before him.
Finally the head and clothes’ began to take more definition. At first they were mere outlines but as time passed and more chakra filled the object, the definition came into play. And finally, the color. The soil had defined the main color at first but now the color’s of his clothes and flesh filled in and they were glancing at a copy of Roy. He opened his eyes and glanced to the statuess figure of himself. A light knocking proved that it was indeed stone but it was still solid.
Taking a deep breath, he cut the chakra from the ground and allowed the statue to crumble back to the ground. He was a bit more eager now that he had seen the results but still knew he had a ways to go. Taking a deep breath, he focused again and formed the Tiger seal.

Once more the soil began to take shape. This time it didn’t even need to go through the ball form and began to rise directly as a form of dirt and soil. Blocky, granted but still it was moving like it should. He pushed his chakra through his body and into the soil more and more and soon it began to take form. Much like last time, the general outline of his body was formed first and then the clothing came next. It finished with definition and coloring. He noticed that it took a little less time this time around but it was still way to obviously a clone and not him. The very nature of the clones was to confuse and aid a ninja. If the clone couldn’t do that then it was pointless.
He released the chakra and saw the soil seep back into the ground around him. He took in a deep breath and glanced about. The air was ripe with heat and it showed with the ripples that are custom with extreme heat coming off normally cool surfaces. Like looking at a street in the distance on a hot day. The vapors were all around them but he had to work through this. No telling what Etna had in store for them next.

It was always a funny feeling when his chakra left his body. It was more normal and natural now but still a bit odd. He thought about when he practiced his jutsu at home and when he was fighting someone. He never really noticed the chakra when he was in the middle of a fight. He knew it was mostly because of his body being so focused on… you know… that whole staying alive thing but still it was just strange the things that went unnoticed depending on the situation. After all, you don’t even notice your breathing unless something smelly or good smelling enters your range or you have trouble doing it. Otherwise it’s just something that happens.
The clone came up a good deal faster this time but still had to do the full mimicry second. His definition was happening quickly but the color and minor details of moving parts was coming a little later. There was still lag and this was irritating him a good deal. Either way though, he had the jutsu and now it was a matter of practicing it to get the formation quickly.
He placed his hands back in the Tiger seal after breaking his chakra link and watch the soil drop to the ground. He took a deep breath and began to work his chakra again.

The formation time was coming faster as was the complete mimicry time. It was almost one in the same but still he knew he needed to get the timing down better. It was now at the point that when the definition was coming through, the color was also filling in but he needed it to be faster. Granted, he knew that at certain times there would be situations where he had to create a quick clone that would do this but the more and more he practiced with getting it to form at once. He had seen several cases of these clones being formed with no notice what so ever and he wanted his to be that good.
He released the jutsu and let his chakra flow back down into the ground. He took a deep breath and whipped his brow of the sweat. He was almost there… he could feel it.

Quick and without flaw… well a little flaws here and there but still just quick. He almost didn’t even see the soil rise. It was a seamless covering of soil and color. The clone looked fairly accurate minus a few details like hair placement and such but those were things that would get better with normal practice. Other than that, he was fairly pleased with his progress. He released the jutsu once more and took in deep breaths. He was going to do this if it was the last thing he ever did.
A moment of silence and soon he brought his hand up to the tiger formation and began to focus again.

A quick flash of motion and soon, standing before Roy was a clone of himself made entirely of stone and soil. He looked to the thing and was a bit startled as it turned and looked back. He had made a full clone filled with motion and all. He glanced it over and it was truly a perfect clone of him. The things that chakra could do were absolutely amazing to him sometimes and this was defiantly one of them. He touched the clone and it jumped back and glared to him. It actually moved of its own free will. He noticed that his chakra wasn’t even attached to it anymore. At least not in the same sense it had been earlier. He still had a connection and could disable it whenever he wanted but this… this was just cool.
He took a deep breath and let it disable and then looked up to the ceiling.
“Good… good. You’re almost done. Just a little more work on the control and you should have it down pat. This is the final lesson so you better get it straight. Get your butt’s out here when your done and we’ll get started with the last leg.”
Etna waited for Roy to come out and grinned as she saw him climbing out of one of the windows. She didn’t bother to open the doorway for him. She sighed a little and then glanced to him. There was a huge pit down with lots of debris and wood in it and a steel bar above it. Roy arched a brow but before he could say anything, Etna lept down to the boy’s backside and soon slammed into him. She would vanish as he tumbled into the pit and the next thing he would know, his legs were tied to a rope and he was hanging over the center of the pit.
“ETNA! The ******** are you doing?!” Roy fumed.
“Isn’t it obvious? I’m making you the classic damsel in distress. All you have to do is create the gallant knight to free your a**. There are 3 keys right here to the 3 locks on your legs. All you have to do is create a clone and keep it together long enough to get one key and release one lock. “
Roy glanced to Etna… he knew this wasn’t as easy as it sounded, “What’s the catch you flea bag?”
Etna grinned. She soon tapped Cerberus on the head she was standing on. The 3rd head, the one closest to Roy, turned quickly and spat out a flaming ball at the debris, lighting it aflame. The flames licked the air coming close to Roy. “That rope isn’t as strong as it looks. You don’t have much time boy. I’d get to work if I was you.
Without further ado, Roy took a deep breath and began to focus his chakra. This was going to be a pain.

Roy took a deep breath. This wasn’t his day. A cool breeze blew past his face and seemed a hell of a lot colder than it probably was. It was due to all the sweat and heat he had been in. It kind of bothered him though as he glanced down and noticed that the wind only fueled the flames and made them jump even higher. The flames were licking at his nose now, almost about to take it off. He really was thankful that his hair was tied back today instead of hanging loose otherwise it might get a little messy if it hadn’t have been. Either way, he couldn’t let this get to him.
His mind began to go clear. It began to focus in the way that only he could. A jumble of thoughts and ideas began to rush over him like a wave. Sound was closed out as he went into his own little world and thought only of the jutsu. He went over the portions in his mind… Gathering ones chakra and dispersing it around the element. This was the first part and was used to mold the ground properly to fit your needs. The second part was to infuse your chakra into the stone. This would give it form and motion and shape but at the same time link you to the stone so as to be able to command it and such. It was a strange sensation thinking of controlling something like stone but it was still low on the scale of amazing things chakra could do. But then again, Roy liked thinking of the small things.
He molding his chakra and pumped it out. Soon, not one but two clones rose from the ground and began to move to the key. Two key’s were plucked from the ground and soon the clones lept into the air and unlocked Roy’s locks. There was only one left now.
Roy watched as the clones landed in the debris and returned to dust. It was a little scary to see those big piles of dirt not even dent the flames. He had to let this slide away from his mind as he tried once more.

Getting a bit more comfortable with loosing blood to all his body parts (not) Roy realized he had to work a bit faster. The flames were bitting him badly and he had to concentrate on this a lot more or else…
Roy gathered his chakra once more and began to pump it through his body and to the soil below. Once more then clone rose from the ground. It did so almost as if it was Roy actually doing a jutsu like Inner Decapitation or something. It was kinda cool. The clone moved a bit sluggishly but it still got to the key and made its way up to Roy. Just as the last lock was released, the clone crumbled away, allowing Roy to drop. He was quick on his movements, however, and was able to use the clones remains to push off and get to safe ground. He laid there and sighed a bit. As he was just happy to be alive.
Etna looked to Roy and smiled. “Goood… goooooood. Now, keep going. Create 3 more clones if you can and make them hop through the flames without coming apart at the seems. Go to the edge of the pit and do it.”
Roy looked to her… seriously? She wanted more? Good god what the hell. He groaned a little and covered his eyes. All he wanted to do was relax and lay somewhere and relax… damn slave driver. He grimaced a bit and began to stand. It was a slow, sluggish walk over to the pit. The flames kept stretching out towards him as if teasing him. Just barly missing him. He glanced back to Etna who sat upon the tail of Cerberus glaring at her… he sighed and walked over to the pit and began again.

The flames licked past Roy with a certain amount of fury and heated anger. Roy was careful to stand at least a little bit back from the edge of the pit as he didn’t know how the pit was formed, he didn’t feel like taking a tumble into the pit and being roasted alive. He gathered his focus and began to pour his chakra into the ground around him.
Again, a clone arose near him and began to shift about. He mentally demanded it to cross the flames. Without another thought, the clone stepped forward and lept across the flames. A bit of a burn but still it made it. Upon the other side, it landed with a thud and fully stood up before dissolving back into the ground.
That was one down and he only had 2 more to go now.
