I never said I hated the Homo race!?!?!? I actually have three "friends" who are homosexual (though I never talk to them because they live too far north to hang out with) besides like I said its none of my business, they can do what they will! I love them as people, not as potential mates. besides I still believe they will go to Hell and I morn that, but its their life not mine. if they dont believe to go to hell thats fine! okay

You know, I never really gave my opinion in here before, I was just ragging on kuntrykid whenever I posted.
Of course I would believe that gay marriage should be allowed. Of course when this thread was made, though I loved Kyle very dear, I will admit that I never really though about marrying him.
But the longer I'm in love with him and the closer we near our second anniversary (Aug 15th), and the more crap that we have to endure together, which makes just makes us love each other even more than before, the more and more I start to think about it.
I believe that people should only get married if they truly want to spend the rest of their life with their lover, and that they are sure they're meant for each other. I, am both of those things. I think it may just be a matter of time..~ I Love Kyle. ~

I beleive anyone should be able to get marired. After all, in legal terms its just a peice of paper. If two people live together for years and years, in their hearts its as though they are already married anyways. Honestly, I dont see why anyone needs an approval and I think its sad that these discussions even have to come up in people's forums.

There will always be homosexuals and heterosexuals razz I think if you find a true love you should keep it wink But have in mind that most of us should raise a child as our legacy. So I would see adoption as a very important element in a homosexual marriage. After all there alot of kids with out a home and scince homosexuals cant have a baby the natural way they should atleast adopt one and be a family.

Of course they should be able to get married. Saying that they can't is kind of like saying that large people can't get married because they might corrupt people and/or children (adopted or not) with their 'large-ness'. It's pure idiocy, and if people tried to do it then there'd be a huge backlash about discrimination.
... I don't understand people who think that we'll go to hell just because we love someone who happens to be of the same gender. No offence, my Mother probably believes that as well, but wasn't one of the messages of the New Testament that loving someone is the best thing you can do?
Besides, I really don't get the whole concept behind Christianity, and I talked about it with the Chaplain plenty (if anyone wants to try and explain it away (what I'm about to touch on, anyway), feel free to PM me), but she couldn't explain it to my satisfaction. What I'm getting at is: A: God loves everyone equally. B: Even if you are a rapist and murderer, God will love you as much as he loves the most pious, devoted and good person in the entire world. Uhm, I'm sorry, WHAT? This does not compute. No matter what you do, you are on the same level as everyone else. Every single other person in the world, even the 'non-believing heathen homosexuals' is loved the same as you. Think of the most evil, heartless person you know, and then imagine that someone told you they see you both as on the same level. Bollocks, I say. Bollocks. Also: C: If you ask forgiveness for your sins, you get to go to Heaven; if not, you go to Hell. So... if someone refuses to repent for loving someone of their own gender, they go to Hell, while someone who repents for killing entire families can waltz into Heaven.
Yeah, that doesn't really work for me. (well, there's a lot more that doesn't work for me, but I should stop before this goes even more off-topic)
All in all, I think that consenting parties should be allowed marriage rights. i think that it's completely and utterly ludicrous that people could possibly think differently. How could someone else's marriage possibly affect the 'sanctity' of your marriage??? It's none of your business!
I should, however, go for tonight, as I have much homework to get done and it's already 3 in the morning.
Edit: To clarify, I have nothing against someone's choice of faith. If that faith goes out of it's way to hurt others, then I will most likely disagree with them, but I can't change what they believe any more than they can change my beliefs. All in all, I don't honestly care what faith denomination you are; if I'm going to judge someone, I try to get to know them first. I do, however, judge what people say and factor that for or against them. Moot point.

I'm not a gay but I agree to gay marriage because we can't stop one's feelings right? and also there are no laws that says that you can't love the same sex right?... so it means that must respect those people who love because we also love.. okay!

Actually, in some parts of the world, there are in fact laws that forbid one from loving someone of the same gender, in a relationship way.

Actually, in some parts of the world, there are in fact laws that forbid one from loving someone of the same gender, in a relationship way. so if that is.. one must find a way to be together.. like migrating to other country.. and if that can't be happened then they must accept these consequences or they can continue their affair in a secret way.. I think the police wont ask questions to every same sex that walks together if they have any affair with each other.. well love find ways.. xp

My Church (Catholic) teaches against it, but to me it seems reasonable.
From a social policy standpoint, why not have people in a stable relationship instead of cruising bars and potentially starting trouble?
I think people are worried about having to share health insurance, which is a damn poor selfish greedy reason to spoil somebody else's life.
