Nali was at the exit and saw Lord. then she looked down to the holes. she used frost on them and walked over to him "that guy we met back at the cave, huh?" she asked

"Hmm.. Well, he ain't dead, that's for sure." Lord admitted. He had been wishing to kill the S*&^%, but found himself once again, sparing a life. What was wrong with him? They had killed those guards, and used them against him. Still he'd pay eventually. EVENTUALLY. ((No, Travis III gets to stay slightly longer. You know, the rest of this?))
"Ah, and I won the race. What do I get?" Lord asked, in a cocky sort of fashion. He was not one for speaking in a cocky sort of fashion, but he had done so otherwise. Ah. Well, what could honestly happen, eh?...

Lord gave a demi-sigh, not quite a full sigh, but close enough.
"Well, fun over I guess. What do we do now? I mean, we've got to try and protect Vaek, arrive at the Mercury lighthouse, get water of life, give it Vaek, climb aforementioned lighthouse, and then de-light it. Your thoughts on how we're going to do this?" Lord finished. Now he spoke it out loud, it really did seem so much harder. Ah well. Looks like today got slightly longer....

"We should head to Imil and leave Vaek at the inn. It will make Mercury Lighthouse easier."
"Geode's right. We can't hope to get through it if we have to carry Vaek along also."

Lord chuckled to himself. It was the first time he had done so all day. Knowing that Djinn seemed to have a better grasp of reality than his teammate was a happy, slightly un-nerving, but still happy, thought. He wondered what had happened to the rest of his team though. How was he supposed to lead a successful battle up the lighthouse, if he had... Ooh, one ally. He pondered the logic in all of this. Where WERE the others? Had Billis intercepted them or something? Nah. They'd have had him licked by now...
((Hayato, next time you're on, please let me know when you'll be back on, as normal. Namely, frequently. That way I can arrange the story events or something like all that. sweatdrop ))

((Sorry bout that. I'm only allowed on during weekends now because one of my grades is kind of slipping. I probably should've wanred you guys. From now on, I will try to get on during the weekends.))
Geode and Ptera laughed at Shade's comment. Geode then looked towards Vaek. He was still unconscious, but after that last episode of pain, he couldn't help but worry for him.

((Thanks. Anyway, I've got a little surprise that Travis'll be bringing sooner than later, so expect some... Fun for later. More massive battles anyone?
