Zero stood with his hands on his hips as Ali ran towards him. He extended an arm and pointed down a wide path that extended into the distance. "Stay on the path. It'll bring you straight to the C.O.S. And don't leave the path! There are plenty of thieves and such hiding in the wood, but the know better then mess with people who travel on my paths."

The girl's steps slowed as her frown grew. -Those mind reading evil little....gah, I can't even think bad things about them without them finding out!- it was hard enough not to say things aloud, but to have to sensor her thoughts too....it would prove to be rather difficult.
"Are there any other paths that meet up with it, or is it like the yellow brick road?" she mumbled to herself, stopping for a moment to try and follow the path as far as she could with her eyes.

*Heading in the same direction as Ali, Kiki started to get eager as they got closer to the arena. She had a small smile on her lips, which doesn't really happen often now.*

Loki wandered behind Ali slowly, watching to make sure she didnt stray from the path. "So Simi... How have you been? Had fun recently?"

Ali trudged alone the path, glancing occasionally up. For the most part, though, she looked down at her shoes -a piece of familiarity admist all the weirdness.

Simi strolled at Loki's side with the natural grace of a predator, thinking carefully before she answered. "Well, Akri, Simi started off hunting the Gallu demons, which are pretty tasty, if you like your barbecue that tough. Simi supposes you can't get good quality demon meat from not so quality demons. Simi could have eaten them for a while, but then Simi found an entire building full of shinys, and Simi figured, no one else seemed to be using them and it was kinda silly to have so many shinys behind so much glass, so Simi took them. Then Simi kinda started a war, but it was only a little one, Akri, and Simi made sure that there was plenty of barbecue for everyone when it was over..." Simi continued to describe her adventures in her usual innocent manner, but whether or not she was talking to Loki or herself started to become unclear.

The tic around Loki's eye started again as he listened to Simi. "Yeah. Last time I am letting you out on your own without a very very very long list of instructions." He shook his head and continued to follow Ali.

Simi looked over at Loki, confused. "But Simi did follow your instructions, Akri. Simi didn't personally kill one human." Simi smiled at Loki, proud of herself.

Zero's long strides allowed him to catch up to the group quickly, despite the fact he was walking slower then usual. He listened to Loki and Simi's conversation. From what he heard, it sounded like Loki had two handfuls to deal with now. Usually he can't even stand one.

"Simi... How would you like to help me train a 'good quality demon'?" Loki patted her on the head and waited for her rambling response.

"Hmmm..." She watched the half demon who was shuffling along in front of them. "It won't be easy, Akri, not when she doesn't have the demon blood that Simi has, but I'm sure we can get her little horneys like Simi used to have, cause every good quality demon needs horneys..." Simi paused for a minute to rub her head where she now had cat ears instead of horns. "...But Simi can make anyone a good enough quality demon. Simi will just need some more barbecue sause, an iron maiden, and some oven mitts..."

"Yeahhhhhhhhhhh....." Loki let out a sigh. "Lets stay away from the Iron Maiden...? I want to keep her intact as much as possible."

Ali carefully reached up and itched her ear. If her friend had been there, she would have chimed in with her common 'someone must be talking about you' phrase.
She wasn't quite sure how long she had been walking before she bumped headlong into something.

"Simi never gets to have any fun..." she mumbled to herself, pouting. "Fine, Akri, Simi won't use the iron maiden..." Simi smiled darkly. "Simi can think of a few other ways to train the half quality demon..." Simi held up a paw to her face, extended her claws, and started to clean her favorite weapons with her tounge.
