Brandon hesitated, then got up. Seems like she didn't like his methods. Well, it seemed like she was part dragon, too, so he went away.

Raine looked at the woman nervously and tried once again to stand up, only to meet the same fate as before. She slid herself back down the tree trunk and panted as the pain tore through her side.

Brandon knew a home remedie to help dull the pain. He walked off and found maple leaves, which would help to heal the wound. He got fir tree bark for strength, water for coolness, and ((uhh.....)) blood to help keep her blood flowing. He put it into a stone bowl, combined it, and made what looked like an orange-red potion. Brandon kneeled down next to Raine. "Drink. It'll help." He put the bowl into her hands. It was the size of half a coconut.

Raine looked at Brandon warily for a moment, but it hurt far to much to care. She put the bowl to her lips and drank it slowly, shivering a bit at the taste. She felt the cool liquid slide down the back of her throat. She put the bowl back down beside her and closed her eyes for a while, exhausted. She looked up at Brandon as she waited for the medicine to take it's effect. "Have you seen... any elves around here?" she asked him.

Brandon shook his head. "Mostly werewolves and large predators stalk human-sized creatures. They don't stalk vampires, as they are also creatures of the night..." he figured out he was off-topic. "No. If any of your comrades attempted to follow you in this twilight, they may have fell to the night predators." He sat down next to her. "But I'll protect you."

Raine looked oddly relieved at this and she shook her head. "I don't have any comrades," she explained to him. "I didn't get this from a werewolf or other creature," she told him.

Azira coughed impatiantly, she wanted Brandon to leave, and she was making that as obvious as possible without being rude.

Raine looked up at the girl, her slitted pupils widening as the light began to dim. She was starting to feel the medicine take effect so she tried once again to stand up, this time succeeding. She leaned against the tree, knowing there wasn't much else she could do, unless she wanted to fall flat on her face.

Brandon's eyes widened. So she was fighting other elves... Brandon walked away, again. What did that other girl want? Why didn't she want him that close to the wounded elf? Maybe it's a girl thing...

Azira was really starting to get impatiant. "you can go, i'll look after her..." she looked into the slited eyes of the half-brred who was standing by the tree.

Raine looked at Azira nervously. She continued to lean against the tree for support, her ice colored eyes watching the woman and man closely. She glanced down to her sword as she rested her hand on her wounded side before looking back to the woman.

{really?! he was commenting on our conversation ok... you can't really blame me....} Azira walked over to stand beside the girl. "you know, i've been looking for you for a while now Raine... do you know how much trouble you have put me through...?" she turned to face Raine, a somber expresion on her face. it was clear she was about to do something she would later regret.
