"I guess. I know the whole idea of it sounds extremely foolish, but I've can't help but wonder..." Sakura walked closer to the shore staring in thought at the waves. What if it failed, and she drowned? Or what if she turned into a hideious fish mutation? She sighed; she was thinking too hard about it. She plunged into the cold waters.

Underneath the water, she looked around. She was still holding her breath out of instinct, and was worried about what would happen if she let it out. She finally did, and before she could attempt to take a breath, she felt the scars open on her neck. Oh my gosh....I have gills! WHAT THE HECK?! she thought as she breathed in the water; it was as easy as breathing air. She swam around underneath the waters; her vision seemed to clear as well. This was so strange, and she began to wonder if she was dreaming again, as she saw all the beautiful exotic fish in their natural homes. Her eyes grew wide in joy; this was what she worked for. To see the animals live in peace.

Sakura looked to see Lockman trying to speak to her. "Oops! Sorry, I was down here too long." She then took Lockman by the arm and pulled him to the surface, so he wouldn't drown. As she hit the surface, the gills sunk back down into scars. "Well, that was quite strange." she said, as they swam in the water to shore.

"Actually....yes. I dunno why or how, but it was just like breathing air." Sakura began to pace frantically, determined to get to the bottom of the situation. "There must be some sort of logical explanation for this! One does not simply grow gills; I'm using the dream as a last resort option. So, what have I eaten since the crash? Fish.....wait, you couldn't breathe, I could tell, so it can't be food; we've eaten the same things since we've been here."

She paused in her pacing, and stared at Lockman. "Bloo? Is that her name? How did you.....well, anyway, I suppose we could ask her about it." Sakura said. She then looked towards the forest. "I'm getting a bit worried, though. Lithium has ben gone for quite awhile."

With that, Sakura began to look for anything that wasn't burned down in the fire. She spoke to Lockman as she searched under the destoryed tent. "Oh, by the way, can we keep this a secret? I don't want to cause a panic, or give them any reason if we get off here to send me to the circus." she said, knowing they wouldn't believe her ability to get gills underwater. Or believe it, and get freaked out. She personally thought it was cool, but she knew not everyone would.

"Oh. Haha, well, turtlenecks are out of the question, especially at the moment. And it's kinda hard not to go swimming, since I can actually swim and need it for the career. Well, the only reason I was worried was...........cause, well........you guys might send me to some freak show place if we get out of here." She paused, her voice timid and quiet at the last sentence, and then let her mind wonder aloud. "But, what will happen in the real world? Will I be a freak among people!? I can't hide something like that, it's too freakin obvious! OH MY GOD!!" Sakura began a slight panic, pacing quickly back and forth, almost ready to pull out her hair.
