"Cosplay is also considered costume play. It doesn't just revolves around anime/manga/video games. It also revolves around anything. Star Trek and D&D are probably the next best examples. Now I'm not saying that EVERYONE who does it is a nerd. Yeah, sure they may not wear it once a year, if they have freaking lots of money. But it's not a daily basis. You wouldn't believe how many Paris Hilton wannabes are out there. I mean if you were to go to a Star Trek convention, for example, you'll see a billion Trekkies. Sure it probably freaks you out. But why the ******** are you even LOOKING for them if it bothers you that much? I know I should've taken my own advice and ignored you, but I felt the need to say something. Yes there are more then one conventions because only so many people actually have money to go to an out-of state con.
Open your eyes more. They're out there, they just blend in."
