Deirdra walked out of the girl's changing rooms slowly. Her long silver hair swayed behind her with every small step she took. Only a few strands of hair were infront of her horns and along the sides of her face, therefor revealing her purple grey eyes fully for once. She was wearing a black and red, shining bikini. She had actually taken the time earlier that day to go out and buy a swimsuit since she hated the ones that were offered by the school. Even Deirdra had a sense of fassion believe it or not.
Her small feet only splattered a few drops of water that were already on the floor before the warm hot spring water. Her eyes looked through the steam that rose from it and she saw somone sitting in the water. Her head tilted over to the side and her wings spread out a little, then folded back up behind her as she looked curiously at the figure. Though, her eyes opened up more as she noticed it was actually Shien, sleeping.
A small laugh rose out of her as she quickly went over to him. Her feet patted the floor on her way over there, making little sounds. Deirdra went behind him and kneeled down behind his head. Her head tilted to the side again as she observed him. She took one of her small hands and brushed away a few strands of loose hair that was in his eyes. "Shien..." She spoke softly to him. She didnt really want to awake him up. He looked so peaceful. But then agian she didnt want him to get sick or anythign from being in there too long.

Shien's wings fluttered a bit, laying sideways n both sides of Shien, taking up a good bit of the spring. His eyes opened slowly, and he almost jumped as he found himself looking into Deirdra's eyes. "Uhh..Buh?" he said, trying to remember where he was, and wondering why he was waist deep in water.
He glanced around, and fell forward a bit. "Oh..Right..the springs.." he said slowly, remembering how he'd fallen asleep in the relaxing water. He turned around slowly and was glad noone had stolen his towel, katana or lighter in the middle of the night. He then turned back to Deirdra.
He smiled at her and said "Heeey there Deirdra." in an overly cheery voice. He stretched slightly, his wings folding out fully. He let out a yawn, then in the same motion wrapped his arms around Deirdra and pulled her close.

Acid opened an eye and saw black he cursed softly and took off his shades, placing them ontop of his pants. His electric blue eyes glowed softly yet eerily in the warm, foggy mist. He glanced at the two new occupents of the springs and sighed, cracking his neck he leaned back again.

Deirdra laughed and poked his cheek, smiling brightly from seeing him so lazy-like. Since she had received a lot of rest from the last few nights, she has been up most of the time and wont sleep much for the next few days really. Since, of course she is a night person and all.
She felt Shien's arms go around her as he pulled her in close. Her eyes closed and she rested her hands on his shoulders as he hugged her tightly. Since she was still on the ground above the hot spring, she just sat down and waited for him to let her go so she could get herself into the warm water that he was in right now. She had been wanting to go badly because she even bought herself the new black and red bikini while he was gone.
Her blakc and red bat-like wings fluttered behind her as she looked over after opening her eyes and seeing someone else in the hot spring. Her eyes looked away from him and her wings spread around her a little more so that he couldnt really see her all that well.

He took another pull on his cig sending the smell of vanilla across the spring along with another puff of now soft lilac smoke, the smoke crackled softly as it touched the uncharged oxygen in the air. He tapped his fingers against stone linning of the hotspring, his ring clinking quietly as it made contact.

Shien grinned slightly and took a second to look over her bathing suit. "New one?" he asked as he let go of her and began to stretch his arms and legs for a moment. His wings gave a lazy flap in the water, and he let out a contented sigh.
He shook his head a bit, then leaned back in the water against the egde. He was rather relaxed, and staring at Deirdra lovingly, with a hint of mischief. He so wanted to pull her into the spring himself, but resisted.
"So how're you today? Still feeling..?" he asked. He didn't quite know what to call what had happend the other day, but he hoped she would know what he meant. He wanted to talk to her about it a bit, really..He'd never liked seeing anyone cry like that, and with Deirdra he hated it.

Deirdra nodded slowly as he asked her about her bathing suit and she smirked. "Heh, yeah. I went shopping earlier today while i was alone..." She shrugged her shoulders and when he let her go she slowly dipped herself into the warm water, putting in her thin but nicely shaped legs and lower body.
As soon as she was settled in and everything, her eyes looked up to Shien's and she shrugged. Her long purple silver hair floated behind her as she was next to him. "I'm fine..." She was sort of lieing because she had been thinking about it ever since it happened. Deirdra was starting to get extremely worried, even if Shien tried his hardest to reassure her that eveyrthign was going to be alright.
Her instincts told her that it wasnt going to be. Because it was her destiny to have this happen. It was what she was meant for. Her purpose was starting to become clear to her.

Shien sighed slightly, and shook his head a bit. He knew enough to know Deirdra wasn't being completly honest, but he didn't press it. He turned to her and smiled brightly, then wrapped his arms back around her. He leaned his head against hers and said "I love you, ya cute widdle.." he trailed off slightly, then let out a slight chuckle.
He pulled her closer and closed his eyes. It was so relaxing, he thought to himself as he let a faint smile cross his lips. He was so at peace..but it didn't last. His mind unconciously drifted over the last time he'd felt so peaceful with her..Right before she started crying..He let his mind wander over the events slowly, trying to figure out what had set her off into crying like that...
Outwardly, nothing noticable happend, but inside he couldn't help but wonder if it had been what she asked only moments before, and his reply. She'd asked if he wanted his white wings back, and he replied with a smile that as a Ryukiu, he'd never had white wings. He wondered if that had been it..but why? Maybe she really didn't love him..Deirdra would have felt his grip tighten around her for a moment, as the thought rang through his mind.
He shook it off, mentally smacking himself. She was sincere when she said she love d him, that he knew. He then opend one eye and tried to glance again at the cross shape on her. He remembered how it had started bleeding, and sighed outwardly. His eyes closed again, and his head began to hurt. It was all so confusing, too many things to consider..There had also been those weird angels there, one of which kept staring at Deirdra. He'd noticed the few times his gaze hadn't been locked with hers after his wings had ruffled a few times.
Maybe that was it? He growled inside his head at the thought. He shook his head, trying to rid himself of all these damned thoughts. He loved her, and he'd protect her. Noone would touch her as long as he could breath. The thought rang out in his head a few times. "Protect her..forever." He blinked a few times and blushed when he realized he'd said the last part aloud.

Deirdra felt herself get pulled in closer to Shien by his strong arms. She couldnt really fight against it at all even if she wanted to because he was so much more stronger and bigger than she was. Her eyes slowly closed as she was comftorable with just leaning in on him and resting her head gently on his bare chest.
"I love you too..." She giggled a little innocent childish giggle at what he said to her. Her wings ruffled slightly behind her and as they did it caused small ripples in the water to spread out through the slivery water that was caused from her hair flowing behind her. She just rested there perfectly content being with the man she loved and in the nice warm, relaxing hot spring water.
But, she suddenly felt Shien grip her even tighter, even more so than before which was pretty amazing because he was holding onto her pretty tightly to begin with. She opened up one eye and kept the other eye closed tightly, showing discomfort. "Shien...?" She asked quietly in her tiny voice, looking up at him wondering what was wrong.
Deirdra saw Shien glance at her mark of a cross on her right shoulder. Her hands started to shake slightly on his shoulders as she was starting to get worried for him now. She heard him then speak something though she couldnt quite catch it. She squirmed a little in his tight grip and and looked up at him.
"Shien what's wrong..?" She asked him quickly.

Shien quickly turned his gaze to Deirdra's eyes. He opened his mouth to say something, anything to stop her from worrying, but he really couldn't find the breath to speak for the moment. He loosend his grip on her slightly, realizing now he was holding her WAY too tightly.
"N-noth.." he started, in a whisper, then shook his head. He wanted to ask her everything, and convince her to tell him the truth. He wanted the truth, but he knew that Deirdra would just dodge the question again..And he strangely found he didn't mind.
He leaned down and kissed her cheek, before saying in a whisper "Deirdra..I..Promise me something, ok? Promise me no matter what happens..You won't worry anymore, alright? No panicing, no sadness..No tears." he smiled softly at her, then leaned in and gently pressed his lips to hers "No matter what..Let me protect you.." he whispered as he kissed her.

Deirdra took in a deep breath of fresh air as he loosened his grip on her a little, making her stop squirming in his arms. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she looked up at him, wondering what was wrong with him and what made him do that and what he said earlier. Her mind was racing like before even though it might not have seemed like it.
After he stuttered a little quietly she put a hand on his cheek softly. "Shien..." She whispered, trying to calm him down with her soft voice. She watched him as he started to become serious and she could feel his thoughts almost. And, she instantly knew what it was about. Though, it was sort of obvious.
His next words that came out just played over and over again in her pointy ears below her ram-like horns. She nodded slowly before he came down and touched her lips with his. Her eyes slowly closed as he kissed her after whispering her a few more things. She rubbed her thumb along his cheek as her hand was still along his right cheek.
In her heart she was happy that she had someone that would protect her now. But she had a hint of doubt that he wouldnt be able to. And that he was getting himself into even more trouble than he deserved.

Shien smiled into the kiss and lifted one of his hand from her and placed it overtop hers on his face. He didn't grab it or try to pull it off but instead just simply pressing it down, keeping it on his face. He closed his eyes for a moment, savoring the moment.
Eventully, he pulled his lips from hers but kept his face close to hers. His eyes opened slowly, and he smiled. He just stared into her eyes for a few moments, before saying "I won't ever let anything happen to you..You're the only person I'll ever love, so I can't really let something happen, can I? I'd be alone for life." he smirked slightly.
He pressed his lips against hers again, taking a deeper kiss this time. His arm pulled her closer while the hand on hers closed gently, holding her flat hand. His eyes closed slowly, a slight smile creeping into the kiss.

"Oh my god...." Acid rolled his eyes and rose up out of the water his chest glistening in the pale light. He stepped up and out onto the stone walkway. Grabbing his things he walked over to a dressing room. Pulling on his cloths and retying his masamune he stepped out of the change room and headed for the courtyard. He felt like taking a little strole around the compound.

Deirdra let her hand get covered by Shien's. The warmth from his much larger hand flowed through her whole body as soon as he touched it. She always loved it when he held her hand. Her other free hand still rested lightly on his broad shoulder. She continued to kiss him while the warm feeling spread through her.
The old feeling that she had when they first kissed feeled like it was being resurrected. The butterflies returned and the warm colors in her cheeks rose out again off of her pale flesh. It was almost like she was being kissed for the first time again, even though it has been a few days atleast.
She felt his lips part from hers and her eyes searched into his, looking deeply into them with that usual innocent look in her eye. Deirdra listened to his words and a smile rose out of her lips after he began to kiss her once more. She was happy that Shien was going to protect her, and she now started to believe it as the doubts started to empty out of her mind.
Deirdra put a little more feeling and passion into the kiss this time, after now feeling better about it all. Although, there were still dull thoughts about it in the back of her mind. But they were being burred quickly as they kissed.
