Okmaii was stuned her head still bowed, "just how long were you in the woods? I was there pratically my whole life! I wasn't there on sabattical, over there, it was kill or be killed. I had no human contact for my whole life, save for when i came here. When i was born, i was separated from the others, nobody cared about me. When i was wondering, i lost my animal ompanion and my memory, all i know is bits and peices, and i know that my parents aren't missing in action, they were musrdered. " She looked up, "stunning is ideal if you get the chance. it greatens your chances to live, you might not die if you can stun, but don't if you can't, only do what you must to survive." She then looked out the window into the far dstance.

Looks at Okmaii. "I can relate to your story, in my clan when a member turns 7 years of age the woods and survive for 4 years with only basic ninja tools, a katana and a wolf they recieve at 5 years of age. It is a ritual of the clan to see if the child would survive. They have to hunt for their own food and create a shelter to sleep in... I know this custom is unusual... but it gives the child the right skills to survive. If the child refuses they are not allowed to become ninja. I had to under this exercise and it was the most grueling 4 years of my life. When I got back home I found both my parents dead, so I pretty much stayed in the woods until today..."

She hummed a little tune,her eyes half closed as if remembering, then said, "it was no ritual of mine, ut i can understand where your coming from. I had to survive with nothing, at what age, i don't remember. Before i left, i was abused and neglected, so i have never felt love or acceptance from any human. only the animals of the forest. but i do feel as though you and i can share some of the expirence." She looked at him in the eyes with a deep understanding, He is the only one who knows a fracture of my pain.

marquis stares at the window while they talk about there time spent in the woods. "i spent 13 to 14 years of my life in the forest...the beggining of my life as a human didn't begin till age 15 or 16 even. my time in the woods were marked by severe lonliness and and a loss of all human thought...i never have known my parents for all i know they are dead." he looks down "my mind was in a dark place" marquis takes off his face mask for the first time ever to any buddy in town revealing his torn up face. "these scars represent learning...trial and error. fight or flight." he sighs

Okamii lips turned up into the first hint of a smile in days, "at least you remember most of what you went through, i remember almost nothing. just bits and pieces..." her eyes grew misty, "and i remember my animal conterpart was killed right before my memory was lost. Why couldn't I have forgotten that part. Every horrible deatail is etched into my mind." her face grimaced as she remembered, "just being with me is dangerous. so that is why i accept nobody as my parnter, they might get hurt." She looked down, concentrating on getting her 'mask' back on. Her "smile" gone.

*Kkenru chuckles* i dont mean to interrupt the conversation, but not having a family isnt a bad thing, ive been alone living in the forest since i was four, and i didnt turn out to bad, the only thing that ever happened to me, was the day i had HIM sealed inside of my by a passing ninja... *Kkenru drifts into though, leaving his sentence unfinished*

"yea well all this having and loosing of loved ones you talk about though...i wish i had in the first place....i have been alone from the start...no counterpart animals, no parents, no nothing. my memory is vague. but what i do know is that i have been engulfed by the darkness of being alone, for far too long." marquis picks up his book and starts reading it.

Look around you, you are talking to individuals very much alike to you, so instead of looking at the negatives what say we look at the positives."
