"We're not leaving this realm until someone checks you out." Lily told him firmly, voice brooking no argument. "At least not with the keystone. That'd be dangerous." she paused, then grinned. "I could teach you how to dance." she teased, giving him another kiss. "You never did let me."

"Alright," Arlen said, knowing better than to argue when she uses that tone. "But I don't think you'll be able to teach me to dance."

"Everyone can dance." Lily told him breezily. "The only thing holding you back is that attitude. But if you don't wanna do that, I suppose we could try to think of something else."

"Then let's think of something else," Arlen said, kissing Lily's hand.

"Spoilsport." Lily teased lightly, then carefully slid down to his lap, cuddling close to his chest. "Let's see...we could light a fire and drink cocoa and cuddle, or we could...uhm...color?" she blinked, one ear flopping over.

"You'd be alright with sitting by a fire?" Arlen asked, a bit unsure of how severe Lily's fear of fire currently was.

"Yeah." Lily told him softly, giving him a light kiss. "One good thing about losing my memory is that I lost my fear of fire as well. It was because of a memory of Annah's that I didn't like it. That's gone now."

"The girl who's body I had before." Lily answered softly. "The one Xaldin killed. She was terrified of fire...it was so strong that it moved over to me."

"Oh," Arlen said softly, and then shifted the subject. "You want to get the coco and marshmallows while I get a fire started?"

"Kay." Lily gave him a quick kiss, then slid off his lap and headed to the kitchen. Humming softly, she started to cocoa, trying not to think of the little girl.

Arlen headed over to the fireplace and set about getting a fire started. Soon he had a nice blaze going so he sat back and watched the flames while waiting for Lily to return.

Lily came out with two steaming mugs and a bag of marshmellows under one arm. She sat next to Arlen and handed him his hot chocolate, then opened the bag and popped one into her mouth. "Mmm..." she murmured, then took a sip of her cocoa, watching the fire with a small smile.

Arlen smiled as he took his cocoa. "This is nice," he said sipping it and slipping an arm around Lily.

"Yeah, it is." Lily smiled gently and put her head on his shoulder, then ate another marshmellow. "Have you told me what you want for Yule yet?"
