"What's the matter Ky?" Crenu stood and looked over, laughing as Ky fell over. "Heh heh, it's just a little Slugma. No reason to be scared or anything." He started laughing a little more, then stopped as he went to help Ky up.

Yes, master had to come to your rescue even after all those hurtful things you said to him. For the first time in a while, Portabello was a little agitated, you could hear it in his voice. "You're lucky to have a friend like master." He spoke in his own Pokemon tongue. Truth be told, Portabello had no quite gotten over what she had done to Mike. When all those hurtful things were said, he felt his master's anguish like an earthquake.
A plan... He thought. We could always try calling him.

"I know, I'm blessed to have a friend like him," Nina replied. "I don't deserve to have his friendship, especially after what I said and did. I don't know what it was in his heart that made him decide to forgive me, but I'm extremely grateful for it." Nina was silent for a moment, and fidgeted.
"Call him?" she repeated. "I... guess I could do that, couldn't I?" Any other time, Nina would have done that much sooner, but her brain seemed to be addled at the moment. She took out her Pokenav, and dialed Kilik's number. Please pick up, she thought.
Anna was flying around in small circles, which was her version of pacing around. This was signaling that she was growing impatient with waiting, and she sighed. She stopped flying, and looked to Mike a moment later. "This is ridiculous," she said. "I know I should have gone with her when she left... Mike, do you think we should go and catch up with her?

"What?" Anna's soft ghostly voice snapped Mike out of his daydreams. "Oh, that's probably a good idea." He grinned sheepishly, walking alongside the Misdreavous. "So Anna," The boy began, not having spoken to the ghost Pokemon in quite some time. "How have you been? It's been a while."

"How have I been?" Anna repeated. "Well, all things considered, such as my trainer going temporarily mentally insane and going on an attempted killing spree, and a murderous freak attacking her, I've been extremely well." She grinned a little bit. "How about you, Mike? The last time I saw you was when Nina sent me out to battle with you."

M.A. reacted all too slowly, watching blankly as Shocker gave her a fuzzy, static-filled nuzzle before disappearing as fast as the wind. She vaguely mused of the speed of the Raichu before her mind snapped in place. "Oh, wait!" Looking in the direction of Verdanturf, she saw the distance shape of what was unmistakably a thrashing Gyarados. "Kasiya. . ." She may be perfectly fine, but /what if/. . . ? Mary-Anne was about to instinctively move after the quickly disappearing Shocker, but stopped herself a moment later.
"She's probably okay, but. . . it wouldn't hurt to check, right?" she said anxiously. The brunette didn't like the idea of waiting around without knowing how things were going, either -- even if she was weak, she wanted to be there, to see if she could help somehow. Probably not, but still. "And we promised we'd catch up sooner or later, too, so. . . Violet, do you think we could ask for your help? Maybe if Mitsu could ride on your Salamence thataways," she pointed towards the Gyarados and, somewhere off in that direction, Verdanturf Town. She hadn't had enough time to rest, after all, so it wouldn't be good if she pushed herself; M.A. figured she might want to be there, too -- just in case. "But maybe that's not a good idea," she added, self-doubt kicking in as it so commonly did for her. "If you wouldn't want to, Mitsu, and if it's too much trouble. . ."
Ulani had not a care in the world for what was happening for quite a while, only concerned with her own little happiness. However, it wasn't long before she noticed her master's concern, and presently excused herself sweetly from the Ivysaur before floating over to her, landing neatly on her shoulder.

Mike looked away at the mention of the battle, slightly embarrassed. After all, talking to a Pokemon you willingly ordered pain to is a little awkward. "Ah. I'm sorry about that battle by the way." He laughed nervously before answering the Misdreavous' question. "Well, I defeated Flannery. It was a tough fight, but I won the battle, and her love!" Mike smiled from ear to ear, remembering the cute clumsy kiss he was given in the hot springs.
Suddenly a jolt was felt in his leg, his Pokenav went off. "Agh!" Mike took it out, holding it to his ear, and pressing a button.
You have 1 new message. First message:
"Hey Mike. It's Mitsu. Violet invited us to a beach party at Slateport on July first. Hope to see you there."
"Mitsu is so cute." He said as he pocketed the device. Of course I'll go.

"I'm sure Kasiya's fine," Mitsu stated but feeling the need to catch up with her. She could stand up and walk now. M.A's food had done wonders and she was amazed that a small break could cure her fatigue so easily. Standing up, a bit shaky, she held up Nightmare's Pokeball, as well as the feuding Ebony and Sapphire's. She too recalled Ivy leaving Karri to accompany the trio. "We should go see what's up," the young trainer commented before walking towards the loud noise. She looked up in time to see the Gyrados collaspe from another one of Shocker's amazing attacks. Her walk became less shaky and more stable with each step and soon she was walking normally once more. Karri floated along side her clearly curious at all the commotion that she had ignored during her meditation. I wonder what happened she mused to herself.

Anna tilted her head and looked at Mike. "You have the love of Flannery, you say, but you think Mitsu is cute too?" She blinked a few times. "So then, which of them will you choose to be your mate?"
The Pokenav continued to ring and ring, yet nobody picked up. After what Nina supposed was the thirtieth ring, she hung up. "I didn't have any luck," she said to Portabello. She scratched her arm and squinted a little bit. Unbeknownst to Nina, Kilik's Pokenav was still back at the battle site, thus the lack of response.

Mike sighed at the word 'mate'. "What is it with you Pokemon and that blasted verbiage?" He wailed. "Humans can find more than one person attractive." Soon the two made it to the Pokemon Center, the doors sliding open to reveal Portabello and Nina.
The Breloom quickly stood up, bowing to Mike and Anna. You have returned master. All is not well, Nina and I are trying to think of ways to save her mate.
That word!! Agh! Mike screamed inside his head.

"Shocker!" Kasiya exclaimed, running full tilt towards her Pokemon. Shocker flashed a weary smile and a thumbs up, her body trembling from both the physical exertion of running and the electricity that she'd controlled. She began to fall forward as Kasiya reached her, falling to her knees and catching her brave Pokemon before she hit the dirt. "Oh Shocker!" The girl wrapped her arms around the Raichu, who hugged her trainer tightly in return. Kasiya stood up, flinching at the sight of Ariel's crumpled form. "She's hurt badly," the girl whimpered, tears forming in the corners of her eyes and streaking down her cheeks. Simon said nothing, only recalled his Gyarados and watched the girl intently. Kasiya knelt down beside Ariel, almost unsure of what to do. Ariel had never taken such fierce attacks before. Her hands shaking, and her complexion white as Casimir's fur, she held out the Pokeball and called her back.
"That was amazing," Simon said finally. "I've never witnessed such tenacity before..." The other bikers murmured their agreement. "Look kid, we underestimated you."
Kasiya stood up slowly, and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. She glared daggers at the bike gang leader. "I'll have you know I was taking a friend's injured Pokemon to the Pokemon Center," she growled between clenched teeth.
A guilty look crossed over the man's face. "I didn't know that," he said defensively. "How could I have known?"
"You could have asked!" Kasiya shot back, her fist shaking with rage. Shocker glanced up at the man and growled as well, curling her paw into a fist and shaking it in the same manner as Kasiya. "But no," she went on, not giving Simon a chance to respond. "You were too busy bullying people around!"
"Rairai!" Shocker yelled, sparks flaring from her cheeks. Intimidated by the little Raichu, Simon took a step back.
Kasiya looked at each biker, giving them each an icy cold glare. "And now some of my strongest Pokemon are badly injured too." She stared at the ground for a moment, wondering if any other obstacles lied in wait for her en route to Verdanturf. "And now, you're gonna escort me to the Pokemon Center in Verdanturf."
The girl's firm voice held steady, and quite soon the six bikers and their leader accompanied her on the rest of her trip. In truth, Kasiya was shaking with fright at the amazing feat she'd just pulled off, but witnessing their leader bested in a Pokemon battle by a little girl would be enough to intimidate most people.

"I tried calling Kilik's Pokenav," Nina explained, "but I didn't get any answer, and I let it ring for a long time. Scizor couldn't identify the person that owned the Aerodactyl, but I believe it's someone that works for Giovanni, since he's the only real enemy that Kilik has." Nina kept scratching her arm, and she rocked back and forth on her heels. It was incredibly evident that she was restless. Anna sensed this, but she wasn't sure what could possibly be causing her trainer to act in such a way.

Mike really didn't know what to do. Kilik getting snatched was bad, but he wasn't certain he could be of any help. "Why don't we just split up and look for him?" He threw the idea out there, trying to contribute. "I'll Fly one way and you Fly the other?"

Scizor came walking out of the ER, Flareon and Weezing following closely behind. Since they all lacked their trainer at the moment, not even Nurse Joy was sure on how to deliver them out into the front room. She stopped next to the group who was conversing, standing next to the Breloom she had fallen into attraction with. "Girl," Scizor looked at Nina, "You are Master's mate. If you do not aid in finding him, losing him will be pinned on you."
It was evident at this point that Scizor clearly had no idea how to assure somebody.
Flareon let out a yawn before hopping up onto Nina's shoulder, much like he always did with Kilik. His expression was woeful and his ears were drooping. It seemed that Flareon was taking the blame for Kilik's disappearance. He whimpered softly.
Weezing hovered very close to Mike's head. Although he knew Mike wasn't his trainer, the fact that it was another boy seemed to help Weezing get over it. The smell of sweat was familiar to him; Kilik seemed to do it whenever Nina was around. "You're sweaty," he said to Mike (although it just came out as a lame "Weez Weezing"). "Does boy like Kilik-friend's mate?" He looked at Mike quizically.

After listening to what Scizor said to her, Nina looked back to Mike. "Err, yes," she replied, "I suppose that we could split up. But, we still need to worry about Kilik's Pokemon. Since we don't have their Pokeballs, we'll have to physically take them with us. I could take Flareon and Scizor with me, and you could take Weezing, since he seems to have taken a liking to you." She blinked. "Is that okay?"
