I'll definitely be adding more bikers at some point, but probably not right away. And yes, definitely need an icon for my unit.
Chosen I might end up doing, but only if I don't find a need for simply another squad of Chaos Space Marines. And as for a Defiler, I had one before. I tore it apart and used its pieces for conversions. ^^; I'm honestly not a fan of Defilers simply because they're walking targets for tanks.

But, but but, they are big.... And nasty. If your not going to get a Defiler, just get a Dreadnought, they aren't such a target for tanks. And some of their rules are pretty fun.

I see you like the vehicles then. xd I've used Defilers, I just don't personally like them. A Dreadnought I might try, but not immediately buy. More like borrow my friend's and see how it goes for a few games. I've given it some thought on my own, too, and I think that I might consider a Predator or a group of Havocs. Maybe just some more troop units and mass against other armies with Thousand Sons or Plague Marines.

Hmmmm, I just had a good idea. Why don't you convert the Thunder fire cannon? Give a Chaos marine a techi arm/ body etc. Put some Chaos stuff on it, and there you go.

Jason, what would be the point on that? It'd be completely illegal. As to your thoughts on Havocs, make sure that you give 'em the Mark of Nurgle! Given that they'll be sitting still to shoot their heavies, they'll soak up a fair bit of enemy fire eventually. That extra toughness will be a godsend when that time comes.
As to Dreadnoughts...be careful. Rolling a "Fire Frenzy" can be helpful...if you have an enemy in range. Nothing like unloading with a TL Lascannon and a Krak Missile Launcher...twice...onto side armor of a Predator...That said, what I like to run is one or two Dreads armed with Reaper Autocannons flanking a Land Raider. That way, if they go Fire Frenzy and there aren't any enemies close, they shoot at something they can't hurt.

Yeah, that's the most useful mark to give them. biggrin Should be fun to mess with friends like that.
And that might work, then, since I use a Land Raider in almost all of my games.
Some more thought is making me think about taking in a squad of Possessed. Different tactics every game will leave my friends guessing, after all. biggrin

But it will also leave you scrambling to adjust your tactics with them. Though...really, they only have one tactic: Forward and Kill. Therefore, Mark of Khorne all the way on those bitches. Though, Mark of Slaanesh would be nice to get them striking at the same time as the Eldar Aspects, and before any Marines. Then, with Rending, they could potentially kill up to rear armor 13 in an assault, which means that they could take out all tanks in assault but for the Land Raider and Monolith.

I would say you're overthinking, but this is 40K, there is no such thing as overthinking. sweatdrop I do know that for Christmas I'm getting the 15 Terminator and 1 Terminator Lord deal 8D Should be great to use if I get in an Apocalypse game and just plain fun to see my friends freak out if I use them all in a 2000 point game. I can't resist the deal even if I don't use them all, which I doubt because I might want to go in with different combinations. ^^ Plan on using the lord as a captain most of the time, too, so that should be good :3
And I still am thinking of what I truly want. I have until Friday to think away, though, so whatever.

Alright. I'm gonna be involved in a friendly tourney next weekend, and I want all y'all's opinions on my list. It's an 1850 tourney and the enemies I'm likely to see are Space Marines ('Nilla and Templars), Orks, possibly 'Nids, Daemons, and maybe some Eldar. So, with that out there...here's a bit of what I'm thinking.
HQ – 160 pts Sorcerer w/ Bolt Pistol, Force Weapon, Frag, Krak, Meltabomb, Mark of Slaanesh, Lash of Submission, Bike
Elite- 110 pts Dreadnought w/ Reaper Autocannon Elite- 110 pts Dreadnought w/ Reaper Autocannon Elite- 110 pts Dreadnought w/ Reaper Autocannon
Troop-185 6 Man Noise Marine w/ Blastmaster, Doom Sirens, Bolt Pistol, CCW, Frag, Krak, MoS Troop-185 6 Man Noise Marine w/ Blastmaster, Doom Sirens, Bolt Pistol, CCW, Frag, Krak, MoS Troop-185 6 Man Noise Marine w/ Blastmaster, Doom Sirens, Bolt Pistol, CCW, Frag, Krak, MoS Troop-185 6 Man Noise Marine w/ Blastmaster, Doom Sirens, Bolt Pistol, CCW, Frag, Krak, MoS
Fast-162 4 Bikers w/ 2xFlamer, TL Bolter, Bolt Pistol, CCW, Frag, Krak, Icon of Slaanesh Fast-220 4 Bikers and Aspiring Champion w/ Flamer, Melta, TL Bolter, Bolt Pistol, CCW, Frag, Krak, Icon of Slaanesh (Champ has BP, CCW, Meltabomb)
Heavy-240 Chaos Land Raider w/2xTL Lascannon, TL Heavy Bolter, Daemonic Possession
Now, here's what I'm thinking. I might swap around some stuff on my list by dropping one of the dreads and the biker champion to take a Slaaneshi Lord on a Bike with Blissgiver. The thought there is that then I'd have another powerful CC unit (both bike squads) and they'd do pretty well to shred up most enemy infantry, given that they'd strike first, have more attacks, and have the higher toughness.

I lack the 6-man squads of Slaanesh marines!
Needs moar fluff~
Otherwise a pretty good list, but do you think 7 units of noise marines can hold objectives if needed? Perhaps move away 1 from each unit and add daemons for the spare points?

Well, here's what I'm thinking. If I drop one man from each squad of noise marines, they have the same effective casualty count before they're not scoring. My thought is that, if I drop 1 Noise Marine from each squad (thusly scoring 100 spare points), I might drop it on another Biker in each squad, possibly a Champ with a Power Weapon, as they're my assault corps. Meltaguns would suit them better as well. Probably switch the Bike squads to be carrying Flamer/Meltagun, and give the champs Meltabombs. The Sorcerer has Krak grenades, and the Lord will be doing more damage by just attacking like hell at the armor with his 3+d6 attacks.

}{The Kovenant - Star By Star}{ LOLZ, I did something similar about a year and a half ago with my necrons, there was this one guy at the club who inisted on only playing "everything thing in your case" games. He collected orks, so this worked for him, as he could bring vast amounts of troops with all the expensive upgrades onto the field. So to put him in his palce I went round and borrowed all of my friends necrons armies and made a 10,000 army to take him on with, his face on that day was just priceless. He was there gloating as usaul, and saw that I'd taken out 8 monoliths and still had 5 cases worth of models to go XD

Okay, I forget what was going on here. o3o Anyways... I'm writing up an army list with the 4th Edition Codex right now... I forgot how awesome it could be, but also forgot that it's entirely possible to screw yourself over and get far less troops. But it also allows you to create the ultimate Daemon Prince of Ultimate Doom.
Daemonic Stature, Daemonic Strength, Daemonic Resilience, Daemonic Essence, Daemonic Armor, Daemonic Aura, Daemonic Rune, Daemonic Mutation, Warpfire, Dreadaxe.
That's looking at a unit with (I think)
WS7, BS3, S7, T7, W(5?), I6, A(lots), Ld10, Sv2+5+ Eternal Warrior All attacks in CC ignore both Armor and Invulnerable saves.
