Being the cute quiet kid isn't always rewarding =/ Actually, it never is.

I don't need it to be rewarding. it's quiet and out of the way.
I act like I do because I was brought up in a... rather saddening grounf of friends, and I felt like it was my job to keep people happy. so it's become me to keep people happy, so now I can;t really be who I want to be. =/

The one no one really relies on. the one who can just slip in and out of the group without anybody noticing. the one nobody calls to invite to the party seeing as I never go to them, I'd be so out of place, with the drugs and alcohal and everything.... just ew.
but yeah...

I am one of those =/ I hate it. It hurts when your best friend(now ex best friend) goes everywhere without you and assumes you just don't want to go. When you're like that, it feels like no one really cares about you and they're just there because they feel bad.
But life has improved since then, I actually go places now. Hah. And I have good friends that actually care.

I know my friends care, but they don't really respect me for my life style. they try and pressure me into things I've told myself I won't do. and yeah... I know they mean well, and as long as I stick to my own rules, I'll be okay.

Yeah. But if they're trying to pressure you into stuff, they aren't very good friends..

they do it playfully. they lay off after I refuse. that's why i just don't bother going to parties and such, because it just increases the likelyhood of me giving in.

Just constantly invite me to parties, or asking if I want to go out and get drunk with them. They don't say they won't be my friends or anything if I dont, but it takes them a while to stop asking me.
I've grown used to it by now.
And so you know, this group of friends is a new group. I moved in the summer to here, I previously lived in a small city with the most amazing people ever. (the place where I was the make-everyone-happy kid)

Get drunk, that's it? That's not that bad.
My best friend and I want to get drunk before he moves to Utah in like 2 weeks.

yeah, but being with my friends, getting drunk implies there will be drugs, and... generally a lot of sex, at least from what I've been told.
so yeah.... I'm against alcohal and drugs, at least for those under age.
I'm 14, and not legally able to do any of that.... so yeah, maybe when I'm older.

Yeah, I guess. But if we ever get around to getting drunk, we won't be wasted so nothing terribly bad is going to happen.
Lot's of sex? Wow, aren't they a bit young?

Well, drunk for them is getting hammered and stoned.
and yeah, sex. I'm the youngest of my friends. I'm 14, but the rest of them are 15-17. so yeah....
I'm just glad my girlfriend quit smoking and drinking and such, and her and I are 100% clean.

That's good. I've never smoked before. And I never plan on it. But I did smoke Hookah this one time with my friend. It wasn't that bad, but I won't make it a habit. And supposedly hookah isn't bad for you.
