The shadows moved easily, sliding across the walls to dodge his attacks, engulfing Hiei's surroundings in darkness. A low and hissing voice emitted from the walls, "Hiei.... Jaganssssshiiiii..."

Hiei tried to attack in any way he could, struggling.

"You fightsss lesss than the girl...." an evil chuckle emitted from the walls as they cut through his shoulder with a biting darkness.

"You will die like sssheee did.. no more Jaganssssshiiis..." the shadows pulled away from the walls and assembled into four shadowy figures.

Hiei struggled more, trying to attack the figures.
"Angelic blast!" Taji somehow managed to reach the same area, by intention or chance. He sent out a light-based orb attack. Not very powerful, but hopefully it would do something.

The shadows hissed in pain and quickly retreated into the darkness down the hall again, fearing the light that the newcomer gave off.

"Hiei!" Taji ran foreward, sending off another weak blast. "Are you OK?"
"Go see Ashira." Hiei said, gasping.
Taji nodded and ran to see Ashira, kneeling next to her. "Ashira? Ashira, are you alright?"

Ashira's body was still. Her skin had taken on a pale bluish color indicating that she had been denied air for a long time.

Taji flipped her over, then started giving her CPR.

After a few minutes, Ashira started to cough and rolled over onto her side, holding her stomach, "...wh.. what.. happened..?" she said holding her throat with her free hand.
