Magneto nodded to Siryn before stepping through the gateway. "Indeed they are young sister, feel free to get to know them," he said, the gate disappearing behind him, transporting him elsewhere upon the base...
OOC: I'll post more later, showing Magneto's reaction, or lack there of, to the Acolyte's actions...

The way he calls her "sister" had always made her feel uncomfortable. She walks over towards the mutants that had been allowed to her school. "welcome to The Seminary." She greets them in her whispering voice. She begins to walk closer to them.

"Nothing will keep him off of my back...," Jacen said to Morgan as they continued to fight against the seemingly unexhausting Acolytes. They were dead on determined to finish Jacen off once and for all. Exodus fired a few more shots at Jacen, one grazed his shoulder, the others were wild in nature.
He was about to retaliate when he remembered what Penance had said just a moment ago. They needed to get him out of here?
"Penance...I'd advise that all you X-Men get out of here soon...," Jacen said as he fired back at Exodus, then Amelia, then back to Exodus again. "I've....I've an idea...." Jacen remembered then saw the energy helix on the otherside of the main chamber, pulsating wildly. With reckless abandon, Jacen started to fire shot after shot at the helix, in an attempt to fracture the case holding it's stability.
"Acolytes!!! Stop Scion!!," Mellencamp yelled as he saw what Jacen was attempting, then charged headlong after him.
"Stop this," Jacen said as he waited until the moment that Mellencamp got up in his face, sidestep the lunging slash, and hit him hard in the back of the neck. It wasn't enough to put him down fully, but enough to stun him for the moment. Unfortunately, there was about six other Acolytes all bearing down on Jacen. To his surprise though, Wolverine and Penance each took a flanking side, and bore down for a battle. 2 to 1 odds. Jacen smiled as he really liked those odds.
"On three, guys," he muttered, before noticing Wolverine already slicing and dicing his way through the onslaught. ".......Or not."
"Scion!!!," Exodus shouted as he had a wicked grin on his face, "You may be able to stop your slaying, but can you stop his!!!" Exodus held Neophyte in a forcebubble, not unlike what Morgan could produce. But this, this was berift of oxygen. Neophyte would most assuredly suffocate. And as much as Jacen wanted to walk away, he couldn't.
"This traitor is the one who led these mindless sheep to our castle," Exodus said, "And his fate will be much, MUCH worse than yours."
That...little......goddammit....why did he have to risk his neck?, Jacen thought before looking at Evelyn. "Penance, I want you to get the rest of the X-Men out of here and wait for me, ok?"
"Isn't that a little dangerous? Especially considering that your...."
"Please.....you trust me, right hon?"
"Of course I do."
"Then get yourself and your team out of here. If you have to, wait for me, if not.....then....." Jacen looked a bit saddened at the thought and turned away for a second. He contemplated saying more, but decided not to. With a deep breath, he looked at Exodus, a deep intent burning in his eyes.
"Alright, Exodus. It's trade time....my life for his," Jacen said as he calmly walked through the crowds, slowly approaching what for all intents and purposes was his mortal enemy.

OOC: Okay this is probably my last post for the day.
IC:
Penance clenched her jaw before hitting her comm badge. She didn't like this one bit but had to go with her trust in Jacen. At least if something did happen, it would be on his terms and she would have to live with that. But the rest of her wanted to defy him and jump through Regina's shadows and take him out of the building. She couldn't do that as much as she wanted. She couldn't defy him like that.
"X-Men, time to abort. To the X-Jet now," She said into her comm badge. Watching him move through the crowd her eyes got sullen and put a hand out to Regina, "Give me your comm."
Regina didn't question her but handed it to Penny. She called over to Jacen and tossed it to him across the room before being pulled into a shadow. He caught it as several of the x-men disappeared and she waited until they were out of the castle to turn it on.
"Jacen," she said into hers, "I have half a mind to come back in there but will respect your wishes. Just know before this goes down that I'm madly in love with you and always will be. Be safe."
She clicked it off and waited at the end of the X-Jet ramp helping students in. Her jaw clenched again. This was not how things were supposed to end.

"Just know before this goes down that I'm madly in love with you and always will be. Be safe," he had heard Evelyn say over the comm in his had before it went silent. With a smile, he said silently, "Love you too, babe...." Then, he looked harshly at the Acolytes. "No regrets," he whispered to himself.
"That's right," Jacen said as he walked into the middle of the crowd of mutants, each one ready to cut him down at the slightest notion of his aggression. "My life for his. Straight up. Let him go, and you can take your time in enjoying my death."
Spoor growled and Mellencamp snarled. They both had quite the imagination when it came to slaughtering someone and they were already thinking of what to do to young Scion.
"Boldness from you...at this junction in time.....how peculiar," Exodus said, dropping the forcebubble with Neophyte in it. Jacen's friend was free. "But all in vain." Exodus did a Vader and grabbed Jacen up telekinetically by the throat and held him up in the air, a foot from the ground.
"Boldness," Jacen said between choking out oxygen, "That I should have displayed a long time ago...when I realized that things would probably wind up like this."
"Insolent whelp." Exodus started to focus his telekinesis more and more, coming closer and closer to crushing Jacen's throat. Scion winced, and saw the helix again, only this time, it was right there.
Now or never...., he thought as he thrust his arm to his side and let out a massive discharge of ebon energy. There was a loud crack, and the shielding actually was penetrated, and the orange-white energy started to flow out through the main chamber.
"My God...it's leaking!!!," Scanner yelled as she immediately went into her electric form.
"......." Exodus was less than pleased and looked over to Voght. "Get us out of here, Amelia. Let these two die in the castle."
With a wave of her hands, Amelia had ported each Acolyte from the main chamber, only leaving Scion and Neophyte there. The energy started to swath over more and more of the stone, seemingly melting it, but it was staying inert.
"N...Neophyte? Are you alright?," Jacen asked his friend. Neophyte didn't budge. "Come on, bro....you gotta wake up.....Neophyte!!!" Jacen yelled at his friend just as the stones in the wall and floors started to burst. From the outside, it looked as if the castle was exploding, although it just crumbled onto itself. For all intents and purposes, it looked as if there were no survivors.

Regina looked to Penny. "How long before you want me to go in and get him out? Something isn't right and I'm not about to let him just die in there..."
"Give him a couple more minutes..." Penny said, not wanting to anger Jacen.
"If we wait that long the castle will collapse ont op of him and I can't go in there!" Regina argued. "Rachel could, but there's no telling just how crushed he could get..."
"I know. Just wait..." was all Penny said, watching the castle become rubble.

"Just wait," Penance held onto a wall watching the building come down. She gripped onto the wall and dug her nails into the frame. Nothing. Just dust and more dust rose. No air on the comm badge. She held hers in her hand nothing.
Scott turned to Jean and any of the empaths, "Can you read anything?"
Jean shook her head, "There is too much interfearance here. It was designed so no psi could read anybody... I can't sense him. The sensors can't sense him."
"No," Penance felt her lip tremble and bit it drawing blood. She wouldn't write him off. She couldn't. And even if he wasn't alive, she couldn't leave his body here. It wasn't right.
"We should go," Scott said to Ororo who was piloting.
"No," Penance screamed at him, "I'm going back down. You will not leave him here to die."
"There are no life signs," Scott told her.
"Then I am bringing his body home with or without you," She stormed out of the jet her body sore and her mind started to break. She stood on the ground and watched the dust settle. Regina followed down to her side. Penance held onto her arm and let the tears start to run down her cheeks, "This isn't how it should end."
She fell on her knees and put her forehead in her hand, "This isn't how it should end."
Porter walked down off of the jet and stood with Penance and Regina. Regina knelt to the ground and put her arms around Penny who cried on her shoulder to the point of heavy sobs. He put a hand on Regina's shoulder to let them know he was there for them. Regina looked up at him helplessly and he nodded to her that it would be okay.
Please god, not like this... not like this.

Teagan had rushed back to the X-Jet with the others when Penny sent out the call to abort. She had been rather grateful, her body draining with the excursion she had put on herself to cast the toxin in the room. She had a feeling it hadn't been in vain though.
She got up from her seat, her surgical mask once again fixed over her mouth. She walked over to the ramp of the jet, watching as Penny fell to her knees.
He..he can't be dead. She thought, even though she barely knew Jacen. She knew he had been one of the ones to have been captured on Prom night. To be turned into something against his will. She felt as though she had something in common with him, as she did with the others who had it happen to them.
He seems too strong though. She walked down the ramp, walking up besides Porter. For once in her life, she felt little. As though she couldn't understand anything that was happening around her. She had seen death. It had taken her mother. But...
"I believe you, Penny. I think he's still there. I don't think he's dead. He can't be. You're right. It can't end this way. Just 'ave faith, tha's all." Teagan said softly, not even sure if she could hear her. She placed a hand on Penny's back, kneeling next to her and Regina.
It won't end this way.She thought, looking at the rubble of the castle, praying that somewhere in there was a living Jacen who would run up and sweep Penny off her feet.

It was dark underneath everything. Quite dark. Jacen was starting to feel a bit better without Exodus'' presence, but still. He hadn''t expected what he had just did. There was a tiny bubble type shield encompassing not even a three foot sphere separating Scion and Neophyte from collapsing rubble. He hadn''t accomplished anything like that since one of the last times he cut loose with his old technology. But without it, Jacen was starting to get worn down completely.
"Hey!!!," Jacen shouted at Neophyte, who was still not yet awake from nearly being suffocated. Jacen''s arms were not able to be used, as the rubble started to press harder on him, straining his concentration. With repeated kicks to the ankle, while slowly losing it, Neophyte finally came to.
"My God!!," the now awakened mutant said as he realized the situation. Instantly, he grabbed Jacen''s arm. Unfortunately, that broke his concentration enough to dissipate the shield around them, but Neophyte used his abilities to shift himself and his quarry through the collapsing debris. Jacen could feel himself almost being ripped apart, nearly shredded. Or at times, something was pulling him apart, but there was something almost of an elastic nature that was holding him together. As quickly as they went, Jacen could only assume Neophyte was heading one direction. Up.
After what felt like an eternity, Jacen found himself standing on top of a broken down castle. There was smoke billowing up from underneath both of them, and there were random fragments of the castle imploding around in the vicinity.
"We're not safe here," Neophyte said, warily.
"Agreed." Jacen realized now that he had dropped the commlink that was given him, and to his chagrin, the jet was on it''s way out. He shook his head as he used what little energy he had left to fire an ebon energy bolt up into the star-lit sky. He was alive, but beaten. With a grin, Jacen smiled as he knelt slowly to the ground. He survived an encounter with Exodus. That was a feat within itself. But he knew they''d meet again. All of the Acolytes. It was only a matter of time.

Theresa makes her way towards her dorm room, bored of life in this stupid school. No one talked to her, she did terrible in classes, and her powers are devolping in ways to help supress them, but only to make them more destructive. Th eother mutants here tend to run from her as once one had been antigonizing her so she threw him across the room with with a loud and powerful scream. Not only did the kid end up with a few broken bones but the room had to be remodeled and the other kids in the room had a hard time of hearing.
She didnt know much of this magneto character either. He seemed to creep her out, as he never revieled much emotion. She didnt quit understand him, and that makes her uncomfortable.

Regina looked back at the rubble one last time, wondering... hey, what was that light? "Penny! Storm, turn the jet around!" she cried out, grabbing hold of Penny's arm who immediately looked back.
"He's alive!!" Penny said with enthusiasm, relief spreading through her and causing her to collapse in her seat on the jet. "Thank the heavens..."
Gen blinked and looked back as well, seeing the bright light shoot into the sky. "Wow... what a tough guy...." she said softly as the rest of the jet took to the windows to see just what the fuss was about.

"I told you," She sneed at Scott wanting to give him a shot to the back of the head. She wiped her tears from her face and caught her breathe. Porter and Wolverine told the students and Penance to stay on the jet incase there were looming Acolytes. Each man helped Jacen and Neophyte into the back of the jet where McCoy was all over them with medical attention.
Disbelief, dumbfoundedness, and relief struck Penance motionless for a moment. Emotions she didn't know how to contain started to run through her veins and her eyes started to tear up again for different reasons. She felt like an emotional train wreck. Regina gave Penny a small push between her shoulder blades, "You just going to stand there like a gaping idiot."
"Jacen," She muttered and ran over to him because walking would have taken too long. She just wanted to put her hands on his face to make sure he was real, to make sure it was him and not some cruel trick. He started to say, "Penance, I don't have the energy to stand up." but only got out half the phrase. The motion of her movement, its force, and Jacen's lack of energy brought them both to the ground.
"Sorry," She laughed and wiped her eyes sitting up. A stupid grin started to appear on her face. She brushed his hair away from his eyes to look at him, "Let's not do this again for a bit."

Sonya smiled, seeing that everyone was safe and happy. "That was pretty cool how my powers were so much easier to control," she said, "Perhaps it is possible to be able to like my powers." She was sitting down next to Racheal and Porter aboard the jet. "Though, now that I think about it, I wish we could have gotten more action so I could test my powers to the max."
Sasha had come out of her room and went exploring. It was strange to her how Magento had reacted. She could see the expression through his cold eyes, that he was somewhat worried about something else. She wondered why, if he wanted to greet them soo warmfully, that he immediately left as soon as they arrived. And this Siryn character was strange too. Sasha sensed from this new woman that there was a big gap between her and Magneto, as if she didn't want to be here. Sasha then heard some great noise. She walked up to this room where the noise was coming from. She saw it was locked and there was a code. Sasha smiled and poured out some sand onto her hand and blew it onto the button. The fingerprints showed up and she pressed them in, and the door opened. She slipped inside and watched as Pietro and Pyro where using their powers against machines and lasers within the room.

Pietro scratched his head. A school? Where was the fun in that? Pietro had hoped to return to the days of carrying out expansive missions with his father... what was he going on about now?
He walked over to where Pyro, Noko, and several of the other Brotherhood had gathered around. Sasha, Courtney and that Irish chick had all retreated to their rooms, but Pietro was eager to learn more about what was actually happening now. Floating in the center of the small crowd was a holographic projection of the class listing they could look forward to.
ESP 101: Long-Distance Telepathic Exchange and Manipulation Instructor: Reagan Wynngarde
ESP 107: Telepathic-Computer Interfaces Instructor: Maddison Jeffries
ESP 201: Practical Precognition Instructor: Irene Adler
HFC 108: Advantageous use of Mutation in Business Instructor: Telly Porter
ACYT 201: Self Offence Instructor: Victor Creed
MSQ 211: Ethical Deception Instructor: Vanessa Geraldine
"What the hell is this?" asked Noko. "Whatever happened to math and English?"
"Oh that won't be the least bit necessary, dear," stated Reagan Wynngarde as she emerged from the hallway. "Standard academics have been quite properly condensed into something far more expedient. Indeed, you'll find that--"
"Lady, I don't know what the hell you just said!" growled a frustrated Pyro. "I hate it when snobs try to throw around flashy language to try and look smart!"
Reagan simply smiled, and touched John's forehead with a soft spark of psionic energy. John's eyes went wide with the sudden influx of information.
"Madame... the expansion of my intellect is on the scale of entropic expansion of a fully irreversible process..." he said vacantly before going limp beside Noko, who glared at Emma angrily.
"What'd you do to him?!" she snapped.
"Oh don't worry darling, he'll be fine in a few minutes, and quite back to his normal self. He just won't have to sit through several boring hours of lecture in order to add to that primitive vernacular... none of you will, in fact. The basic knowledge that any of you would learn through high school and even most of college will be supplied to you telepathically as you sleep. This school is solely for the most advantageous and effective use of each of your skills, and you'll find your curriculum to be perfectly well-suited for each of your particular skills," she said in her usual, faux-British accent.
Pietro smiled. Perhaps this school would be pretty cool after all. As long as the gym was open, though, he stepped inside, and smiled as he noticed a few robots speeding along at what would have been fast to anyone else. He began lapping them, running at only a few hundred miles per hour, attempting to hone his reaction times. Pyro, and a few other students followed him, and began to attack a few of the drones for fun. At the very least, there would be plenty of outlets for aggression at the Seminary.
