How are you my friend? I hope that all is well with you and your allergies. I do hope that your mom isn't trying to agitate you with more dogs....

My latest kidney stone has made its way into my bladder and is considering the urethral voyage the rest of the way out.

She's onto a new breeder, despite having not resolved the issues with the old one.

Ouch, I do hope it will pass with minimal to no pain and do so quickly.
And hopefully the dog allergies and that your mother could just take a break from pets.

:0 I got the greatest picture of one of my dogs today. Got a picture of her jumping up and catching a snowball in her mouth- as it hit, but before she was able to close her mouth.

I feel accomplished.

I'll upload it when I can find the cable to hook the camera up to the PC.

That sounds like an awesome pic!! I'd love to see it once it's uploaded biggrin

EDIT: Found it in ChatterBox. It looks awesome! And your puppy is adorable, and she looks like she's a ball of energy too!

Yes I'd love to see the picture. I got a good one of my dog last winter. He was holding a small plastic shovel in his mouth next to a pile of snow. Very caption worthy.

I can only imagine the captions that you could come up with for that one Camwen. Like-Look Ma, I burried my own! Or something cheeky as such.
Oh Exxos. Hmmm. I do feel for you brother. Lay off the tea and the ice cream that cause's alot of stones in men and women. OUCH.. Because when they do come out(and women have no idea the type of pain involved). Those stones come down the lane with spikey points on them, ripping their way out as they go. Sometimes even getting stuck along the way. (I would assume it would be as close to childbirth as a man could get.). I am with Gavic on this one my friend. I do wish you the best and shall keep you in my special prayers for that mate, as well as your mum leaving the dog business alone for abit for your sake during this whole ordeal. wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance burning_eyes wahmbulance

xD It is indeed posted over in the CB, and she is a ball of energy.

She wants to play ball for hours >.> She only sleeps for like six hours a day. The rest of the time is spent running and fetching and trying to coax people to throw her tennis balls.

Birth? rofl Imagine ridding yourself of a basketball from orifices that weren't of a size meant to handle such a thing.
Disclaimer: I humbly apologize for the crassness, and especially to any new mothers. It was all worth it, though. xd
Good luck to you, Exxos.

Well if you had read what I said exactly. I was not putting down the pain that women must feel during childbirth.(see what I did say). Also, If you want to compare things, Then try maybe passing something that can be as large as a quarter with jagged barbs thru an openning smaller then a coffee stir straw. As I said,That is as close to child birth as a man could get to know what a women goes thru.
Again Exxos. You have my sympathy!!! Good luck mate! smile

I didn't think you were, my friend. xd Not to worry. Not a comparison, just a statement. The only barbed things I've had to deal with were fish hooks, cacti, and bees. And that's enough.

I have had so many stones that I have lost count - 8 needing hospital, about 12 needing but I did not go, lots of unpleasant twingers, and more silt than the muddy mississippi... But diet is only so much prevention, my disorder makes it pretty much impossible to maintain a level of urine to keep the crystallization process from occurring. This one is firmly lodged in my nethers as of this morning - like trying to pee around a 3-prong fishing hook. I'd say from past experience that this one is probably a 3x5mm from the way it shoots down then seizes up then shoots down again, the tumbling motion tells me it's probably elongated.

Despite mom trying to turn over some new leaf as it were in general, she still tends to have days that have led to my attitudes on women – something the ladies of the AGA have had words with me on, heh. Today, I found a flash game online that I thought was fun, it even made me smile a little, but that glimmer of happiness was enough to set her off and get her really upset. She broke a few plates and then refused to eat before chewing me out about it. I do not think I did anything to deserve that - but that is the way life is, 90% of the things that piss her off are of her own creation/choice. And because mom flipped out, it got my father upset... and well, I'll just leave it at that he is not on the same reduced violence and abuse track...

At least most of us can agree that getting a baby out of the ordeal of childbirth makes it much more worth the trouble. Passing a stone is the pain with no reward.

Anyway... It's always been my opinion that both men and women have it rough in different ways (different expectations, pressures, pains). And of course there's a lot of what we deal with as people in general that we both understand. Instead of trying to win the "who has it the worst" crown, we should just try supporting each other. heart

Your Alberta clippers are giving the states something to deal with on this long weekend of ours. It's bloody well cold enough here in GBR with a good bit of snow still falling as are the temps. Global warming my hini!!
