(Last day of summer....o well)
After Pen spoke she disappeared from her dark room she had been accustomed. She now stood and shielded her eyes from the brightly lit room.
"Well that might answer that question," she said squinting to adjust herself to the new lighting. She scanned the room for another figure or something that might help her understand the new situation.
She heard a clang of metal and when she turned she found her bladed knuckles, newly sharpened and polished. She picked them up and inspected the workmanship.
"Nice. They were due for a cleaning." She turned around and spoke out loud to the room. "Did they polish your weapon as well?" Pen wasn't sure who would respond but only really wanted to see who else was in the room.

"Hey! it's wizard girl" the shade said, shivering.
In the other room skotti turned to pen "I hope not..." he said dragging his heartbreaker guitar on the ground and slinging in over his shoulder.

"Hehe...hard to come up with anything witty to say when you're freezing your a** off, isn't it?" she responded.
I'm used to the cold temperatures at night, but this is just insane.

"You're right! lets fix that" The shade said pulling out a syringe and plunging it into her arm. The shade pushed the green liquid into her veins and stood up straighter. "Ah, that's good stuff, feels like a summer breeze now" the shade said, removing the crossbow from her back.

Waffle smirked a bit, charged up her orb and invoked a fire spell, but instead of shooting the fireball, she simply kept it in place with the hand that was carrying the orb. She wasn't quite sure how long it'd last, but it would be fine. Her right arm was still free to cast magic with.

"Hello, Boss. Didn't know it was you," Pen said with a deflated sigh. She gave a tired smile and fiddled around with her knuckles. Though she knew everyone would be okay, fighting the boss to the death was something that stood in the back of her mind.
"No gun?"

She didn't bother looking up at the ceiling.

Pen gave a grin and positioned herself as well. "Well it be my honor to see how the Darkness Skotti Gallows fights without his gun." She flex her knuckles and got a good grip on her blades.
"But I assure you I'm no push over. You of all people know that." Pen said rather smug.

((-_- Sorry guys, I kinda lost my little script for this Arc- its most likely to be in my 'KA-BOOM' folder, so for now I'm improvising!!))
At that moment the same annoying voice blared over the loud speaker into the room where Waffle and Shade were, "ON ONE END WE HAVE WAFFLE- YEAH OK. APPLAUSE. ANYWAY- ON THE OTHER END WE HAVE SHADE!!!- IN THIS FIGHT YOU TWO WILL BATTLE BEFORE YOU FREEZE TO DEATH!! EACH MINUTE THAT PASSES IT WILL GET COLDER AND COLDER- NO DRUGS OR SPELLS WILL HELP YOU, NOR WILL IT GIVE YOU IMMUNITY!! IT WILL ONLY SPEED UP THE PROCESS!!!- FIGHT!!!!!"

((Wait....you wrote a whole script for this arc? o_o ))
Waffle immediately deactivated the fire spell that was previously keeping her warm, even though she thought it was weird that a fire spell would only make the cold worse....although she wondered what would happen to The Shade, seeing that drugs don't just magically go away.
