@ Giesta - I don't remember which version it is. I did a BING search, went to a page with a lot of versions, and I picked my fave. I tend to like King James. Though Joyce Meyers gets some awesome wisdom from the new-fangled Bible she uses.
@ Sarge - thanks for the cite. I especially like where it says: "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love." It's quite a coincidence that we've been talking about love the last few days, what with Valentine's day coming up soon.

Prob. I would imagine a King James Version since it seems to be the most popular and one of the easiest to read. I also ask that when you see this posting say a prayer for me, a cousin of mine died today in a car-wreck. crying crying crying crying

Thanks, for the payers guys. 3nodding
I am at least happy she didnt suffer, from what is know she died from side-swiping a tree at a very fast speed.
She broke her neck when she hit the tree, so I take comfort knowing she didnt suffer when it happened.

Yes knowing there was no suffering is a comfort. It is for me too.
My best friend of all time died instantly in a car crash. It's still a painful loss. I like to think such quick deaths launch the person into heaven just as instantly, like on a catapult. The deaths after a long illness kinda ease people into heaven a little at a time.
Ever read "Life After Death"? People close to death report seeing and hearing angels telling them not to be afraid. I like knowing that.

3nodding I agree, it seems that in some situations a Death comes so quickly that you know they didnt suffer and passed on quickly.
I believe I have heard of the book but havent ever read it, I do believe that people can hear and see angels when close to Death and sometimes even angels happen on rare occasions to save a persons life and they didnt realize till later they saw an angel.
I know of at least one or two stories from WW2 Vets. about angels saving thier lifes.

Well... There are people who would argue that the hearing of the angels was actually just a type of psychosis setting in, but there are others who would believe it. I stand on the line as where it could be, but it has never happened to me so I don't know if it happens. I could, also, say that to different people death likely manifests in different ways.
I can tell you that heaven and hell both exist because I have been to both of those places.

I do believe they both exsist and that there are angels, but I havent had any experiences with any of these exactly.
Unless you count very vivid dreams.

Sorry guys I had a brain fart and realized later I got the name of the book wrong. I meant "Life After Life" (not Death) by Raymond Moody. He even has a web site (of course) and (supposedly) a video of an interview with Katy Couric. I don't have time to watch it today, but I will tomorrow. Here's the link (for my own reference, so I don't have to look it up again) http://lifeafterlife.com/ I choose to believe in angels and heaven, though I have no personal experience with them, because those beliefs make my life more enjoyable.

I believe in angels... I have just never heard them while near death. (I believe that I had to read that book as homework in during my years of home school.)

Its okay Harvey, I believe it is still the one I thought it was that I remembered. 3nodding
I believe I have heard as well about people who have seen Death as well, that is the angel of Death that everyone has seen a drawing of or portraied in a picture.

Of course, people have seen me! (It isn't the best job, but somebody has got to do it. It tends to pay pretty well, too.)
