"Well... It's kinda awkward.. but I suppose i found over the years that i've lost touch with my emotions... other than hate and that weird buzz i get from tearing someones throat out, or dying. I don't really know much about the others. So I guess that'd be a weird sorta something i'm missing out on..."

Aura thinks for awhile. "You must have felt either shock or worry when Blaze's fist was headed my way, otherwise you wouldn't have gotten in the way. There's at least two more emotions you've had, and quite recently too. You've also laughed, so you must have been happy at some point too."

Rick thought on this. "No I think that was actually Fear.. I havn't felt that one since i was a lot younger... I guess I was nervous when I was gonna go see Blaze about this whole curse thing. And your right.. I have laughed." he chuckled now. "I guess i'm rather happy now." He wagged his tail softly. It was weird when he thought about it, he had experianced a lot more emotions around Aura... but why did the mer seem to prevoke them?

Rick just noticed this also. "Maybe you put it down when you tried to get me up again. You seemed pretty upset that I died again. I guess you're still not used to me being able to die. Not that it matter now."

Aura blinks, then shakes his head. "No, I'm still not used to the fact that you could die and come back, but now we have to be even more careful, since if you died now, you wouldn't come back. I didn't have the bowl in my hands anymore after you got hit, so maybe it did hit the floor..."

well.. sorta XP;; Hopefully Ryland dosn't get dragged into anything bad in har... XD;; ))
Naruto seemed reluctant to go further than the front gates to the large asylum. But of course, that was understandable.. considering the reputation this place had. Allthough, it had come to him a while ago, that Ryland would likely have to use a phone to call up Jeph.
So that would likely mean going inside. As if being on the mere grounds was enough.
With a sigh, he grudgingly lead Ryland to the large metal doors, before turning to him. "Do you have any way to contact Jeph? Or do you need to use the phone?" He though he might as well ask, it could help avoid problems. Of course he made little comment to the obvious point at this moment of time;
Naruto lived in a mental institute.
