audley - yeah, people only do that because they're selfish and want to feel special. i really don't see the point of not disclosing someone's name especially when releasing that info would benefit the artist. gaia has this tendency to make some people want to feel elite or special when associated to an artist with some talent. i guess it buys them cool points. cool points are non-refundable, you should have used capitol one.

Audley I was looking through request threads and I saw someone had put in their rules that people weren't to ask them who did the art in their request thread (in the examples and banners etc) because it was rude to ask (under the explanation that the requester had worked hard to look for artists and ... well, that was the only reason given). So ... thoughts? Is it really impolite to ask? I always state who drew something when I post in my request thread and the idea that it would be rude for someone to ask seems a bit bizarre to me. On an unrelated note ... rate my avatar, please? <- bored. I'll rate yours (; Isn't it standard practice to give credit to the artists that draw your Characters? In fact, most artists I know, myself included request commissioners to give them credit if they should decide to use/display their art elsewhere. If I'd stumbled upon that it'd piss me off, and I'd demand they remove the art from their thread if they aren't going to credit it to me.

That would be a rather odd situation to be in - you could ask someone to do that, but how could you enforce it ...?
I always credit artists when I use commissioned images in threads or my signature as a matter of course, but I don't see how any of the people I've commissioned could make me credit them if I didn't do it automatically.

Dunno.. *looks in notebook* We think it was probably a combination of emotional and physical factors (stress + sinus's or virus or something) and my brain also had mild traumatic brain injuries from when I was 14-16. So it was already weakened. >,<` We don't know what caused it exactly, they didn't find things on scanners but someone said that it was even possible that I am having really small seizures in one part of my brain that could be re injuring it and they aren't picking it up. Because apparently cat scans and things only pick up on bigger, physical damage type stuff and that doesn't mean there might not be something profound going on. D= *clings onto Raesha* I keep getting confused about what year it is (thinks its =06) and I've had to start keeping really neat, list style notes about what happens each day with it clearly dated so I know what is going on. Also keeping lists and notes to myself about who people are and things that I need to do because even some of my friends I can't remember more than a name and a face, specially if I met them after '06. =c Its pretty scary.. and I have notes here about getting incompletes for college classes for now, but I don't even remember what I ws taking and only vaguely can take a stab at what my major was.. er is. DX

DX For the meantime I write down about my days and keeps a note book of notes of things I need to do etc. Just gonna work on art and do therapys/treatments to try to fix it. D= *clings to Rae* >3<

That's fab, Little Dream - you're only a few ... million commissions off having as many Bao pieces as Mek (;
In any case, in the spirit of livening-things-up (I suppose) - what other commissions do people have coming up that they're really looking forward to?
