It sounded really awesome when I didn't know the lyrics. Slightly less so now that I know it's about a flower, but hey. The band is nice, but more mellow than other bands I've heard.
NOBODY CAN DENY THE EPICNESS OF KARMA. I'm listening to "Meaning of Birth" right now, a boss fight remix of it from Tales of the Abyss.

I don't think so. It even trumps the Tales of Symphonia opening.
