Giant Robo and Macross is awesome too.
Also - I find it odd that I was damn good with Astaroth - or anyone with heavy weapons.

[Handshakes thoroughly with FINAL STAGE!!-] Yeah, Big O kicks a**. It also had the two best opening themes ever, even though one was released only in syndication. Clearly justice.
Also Saphen, your Twilight Zone reference needs a Gundam. With glasses. Yes Turnip.
