Meta_Fish [R]ed good to know we feel the same way about each other. and i still dont get it because smash brothers is a fighting game with more than one move, where SMB3 is a 2d platformer with the same basic moves *jump* Now you're just being difficult to be difficult. Sure, you can play Super Mario Brothers 3 and get two warpwhistles, warp to world 8 and beat the game. But if you do that, you're missing six worlds of the game, and a bunch of powerups. ive understood this point. but really if someone likes it that way then why should we change what they enjoy? -- off point i played SMB3 today, and im like the only person thats -loves- the lil green jumping sock?

I'm saying that you're missing most of the game if you do that, which I frown upon, because the game is amazing, especially when you add in all those levels and items you never play or use. -- No, everyone loves Kuribo's shoe.

GI: Have you been consulted at all for the usage of Link or Sheik or Ganondorf for Smash Bros. Brawl?
Aonuma: I’ve been working with Sakurai for a very long time with this new Smash Bros., because the Wii came out and when discussion for a new Smash Bros. took place nobody could think of anyone other than Sakurai working on it. He was kind of the default, and I was very happy to hear that he would be working on it. Actually, my designers did work on the designs for Sheik and Link and Ganondorf. So they submitted the initial designs, and so it would fit in the Smash Bros. Brawl environment, they’ve had to tweak some of the designs. But Sakurai has brought those altered designs to NCL. We’re working very closely with the team of Smash Bros. Brawl to make sure the characters look their best.

Sauvie Nintendo_fanatic -I also agree with Fish. The items were put there for a reason, to be used. Frequently, often, whatever one decides. -If you completely ignore them, and non flat levels, you're missing out on some mayhem/fun. I agree with you, Items are there to be used as well as the gimmick stages. But I personally find that when you only have one opponent no matter how hard you try, Items dont work well, and in one on one matches with a skilled opponent if you ******** up for a fraction of a second in most cases you are going to be called on it and suffer the consequences. but if you have it in full 4 player Melee mode yeah I agree Items are great and fun as well as gimmick stages like Pokemon floats, Brinstar depths and stuff like that ( I still Hate and will continue to hate the Hyrule temple though) -That's practically how I feel. When it's only two players, there's really no need for items. But when it's for, it's just plain fun to use them. -Like Wayne said. It's funny how everyone runs for a Pokeball, only for it to turn out to be a Goldeen.

I guess Shiek will be Twilight Princessized? Ganondorf has to have his sword now, I'd think. Wow, so there's another sword fighter, too.

Midna would be awesome. Her special thing would be something to do with her hair hand.
