  Daren smiled a little and started for his bike once he was sure the moms were gone, "yeah. i'm not sure i deserve a second chance, but it makes me happy they are willing to give me one. you're a lucky man to have such kind mothers." he was fidgeting with his bag of food once he stopped beside his bike. he wasn't sure how he'd take it with him since it wouldn't fit in his saddle bags, but he'd figure something out, even if it meant tying it behind himself. "you-be safe, ok? i'll see you around?"

 "To be honest I think you're more lucky than me for them to give you a second chance." Tim admitted, unlocking his car which was besides Daren's bike and placing the food in the back seat. "Yea. I'll see you around." he smiled back at the man before analyzing the situation, his smile changing into a teasing one. "You don't have room for it do you, Daren?"

Daren looked down,, even Tim thought himself unlcuky for his mothers allowing Daren to be near him again. he was pulling the rope from the saddle of his bike when Tim asked if he had room or not. "i can make it work." he saw Tim's smile and had to smile in return, "you suggesting something?"

"Well perhaps, you let me carry your things and I'll follow you home. Or I ride in the back of yours holding the food, but you'd have to bring me back to my car." But he gave a shrug, "If you like the thought, of course. I don't want you struggling with the bags."

Daren nodded, "you following me will work, it would be dangerous for you to ride holding it. i don't have my spare helmet either." he handed the food over and got out his gear, "thanks, you saved be from having to lash it to my bike. that wouldn't have looked pretty comical, though." he got on and started the engine before pulling on his helmet, "ready when you are."

Tim took the food, placing it in the seat behind the driver's side and nodded which a chuckle. "All right. You start heading out I'll be there in a second." and got into his car, turning the thing on and driving out, following the motorcycle to the man's condo, flat, thing. Traffic was easy, Tim seeing his parents pull away down a different road to their own home. But he drove, following the bike into the parking garage, stilling his car between a white pair of lines, reaching back and bringing up Daren's food, window rolling down. "Hello again."

Daren locked down his bike and walked to Tim's car, "long time no see, stalker." he teased as he accepted the food, "thanks, that really helped me out." he hesitated, not sure he should, but finally decided it wouldn't hurt. "You-uh, wanna come up for a bit?" he asked shyly, looking down, "it's ok if you don't want to. i totally understand."

"I only stalk the handsome ones." he teased back, offering the food and letting his friend take it. "It's no problem. I wouldn't want you to drive dangerously and I had plenty of room. I have no outstanding appointments so I could help you out." He moved to put his hand on the stick, ready to change gears but Daren was still standing there so he waited. "Oh." he stared at the man, raising an eyebrow before giving a small giggle. "I'd love to come up." The car was turned off, red-head getting out and looking up at his friend. "I've got nothing else to do until later tonight anyway."

Daren smiled a little, "yeah, not doing much myself. was going to just sit around, so doesn't hurt to sppend time with a friend." he smiled and lead the way up to his apartment, "do you want to play a game or something? i've got a Wii."

"It never does. Friends are always good company." and walked up the stairs, hands in his pockets before looking at Daren. "You bought a wii? Goodness do you have Mario Kart?" He looked excited. "I'm a pro at Mario Kart."

Daren smiled, "i do, actually. it came with it, so it kind of was a given that i would have it. even have those wheel controller things too." he opened the door to his house and went inside, "the kids begged until i got one," he said, "so i got a bunch of games they wanted."

"We're both going to play on rainbow road because it's hilarious." Tim said with a laugh. "I don't doubt it. You're so good to them you're like a giant older brother or a second father, to them." he explained, taking off his shoes at the door. "Mario Kart is my favorite simply because I do not need much intelligence for it, simply hand eye coordination. Can I get something to drink?"

"No," Daren said as he got the Wii going, "you have to sit there and be thirsty." he put the game in and grinned at Tim, "of course you can have a drink. feel free to anything you want in the kitchen." he took his food to the fridge and stuck it in to the unfilled half, making it full for the first time in a while. "it's cold enough your food should be fine in the car. what color of controller do you want? i have pink, red, blue, black, white, bedazzled blue and penguin." he shrugged at Tim, "i let the kids pick out their favorites."

"Oh nooo.' Tim complained, giggling as he was told he couldn't drink. "I have to ask. You might be hiding a head in your fridge." And stood, moving to the kitchen and pouring himself a glass of water. "Yep. It's October. Kids'll be trick-or-treating in a week or two. mployees can bring their kids to trick-or-treat on the floors and cubicles." he walked back to the couch, looking at the controllers, picking out the penguin one. "I think this one will work."

Daren nodded, "i'll have to stock up on candy. Anna and the kids will be over and this building has a lot of kids that just go door to door. can't let them down," he grabbed his usual black on and sat down, wondering if their parents would let them come to his door this year or not. it would be interesting, he wasn't sure if they even knew he was back. up until now he'd been a popular stop, the parents liking him as much as the kids, but after everything-well, it would be interesting. "alright, let's play rainbow road so you can see how bad i am."
