I quickly intook the somewhat stagnant air around us. All I could detect was rain and prey. No sign of the monster I had seen when we had been hunting; or the thing that attacked Wheatear.
I blinked a few times though as my thoughts returned to Barkwind. I smiled slightly. My tabby colored tail wrapped neatly around my paws.] "Are you okay?" I asked.

heard the two brothers. "You disobeyed you mentor. that
what he did wrong." Firestorm narrowed his eyes at Oakpaw.
"you two will be seperated, like it or not. Problem? Deal with
it. You'll be together once your back in camp, so chill." He
said. "As for Cedarpaw..." He turned to Cedarpaw.
"You disobeyed your mentor. She is to teach you to be a
good warrior. You wont learn anything if you keep disobeying her
this way." Firestorm said. He nodded to Miraclesky and
Skywhisker hoping they'd take over and take control of their
apprentices.

[Sullenpaw felt restless over Cedarpaw being yelled at, and Oakpaw defending his brother. She twitched her whiskers before she chimed in, "M-maybe Cedarpaw was just excited for training a-and couldn't pass up the opportunity... I know I would want to go with my sibling first chance I'd get.." She spoke just loud enough to hear. "If you were an apprentice... wouldn't you get excited to be invited on a patrol with your sibling?" She was so proud of herself for finding her words, though she stayed on top of Firestorm, it was comforting to her.]

Firestorm flicked his ears at Sullenpaw's words.
He flattened his ears as thoughts of his younger brother came
flooding back. He closed his eyes and lifted his head to the sky.
The memory came flooding back: Firestorm and his brother,
apprentice age. his brother had fallen into the river trying to
catch fish. 'hahaha. nice try little brother!' He remembered the
play-fights they had, the times they practiced leaping, the times
they raced through the woods with Icestorm trying hard to keep
up. He remembered it all... and it brought him to tears. He
lowered his head, his claws dug into the ground. His green eyes
in thin slits. "However true it may be... he still had to listen to
his mentor. If he was that excited, he could have gone to
Miraclesky and asked. Control if emotions is one of many things
it takes to becoming a warrior." His ears were still flat, but
there were no tears in his eyes. He wasnt going to let his
emotions get to him.

[Sullenpaws ears flicked at Firestorms reaction, becoming almost uneasy- although he covered it. She lightly swatted at one of his flattened ears, "I forgot about that! But he's still an apprentice, and I'm sure being called out in front of everyone will have him change his ways.." she murmured, prodding firestorm with her paw again, trying to give him comfort.]

[I meowed turning back to Miraclesky]
"I know, you need him. But please,
don't be so hard on him. He just got excited. and...

"You guys are right" [I looked at Firestorm and Miraclesky]

"Nevermind, Cedarpaw, go with Miraclesky.
You can come hunting with me
and Oakpaw some other time"
did Silverstar make the right decision in giving me Oakpaw?
Am i too sweet? Maybe I wont be able to be firm enough
[I thought worridly. Casting a sadish glance at Burrpelt]

Firestorm nodded. "I should hope so..." He said. He flicked his ears at Skywhisker. "Your fine. So dont worry. Be strong and Firm, but not too hard as well. Hard like stone, yet soft like a cloud." Firestorm said to the she-cat. He padded over and licked her ears in comfort.

He caught the sad glance from Skywhisker and padded up next to her.] "It's not your fault, Skywhisker." [he mewed, resting his tail on her shoulder.] "We just assumed that it'd be alright to take along Ceaderpaw. It was wrong to take him along without your consent, Miraclesky. I understand your feelings, though I have not an apprentice myself. We'll leave Ceaderpaw with you." [he gave Skywhisker another look and murmured in her ear quietly so only she heard,] "Don't doubt yourself in being a mentor. Each cat had their own ways. That's what makes each cat unique. They each learn something from the other." That is too soon;
Cut them in July,
Then they will die.

[Sullenpaw's chest rose again as Skywhisker smiled at her. She was looking- or rather staring at Cedarpaw. Sullenpaw let out a small sigh, the way he looked when he was embarrassed, spitting out leaves. She let out another sigh, why did she feel like she could stare at him doing relatively nothing important? Why was his pelt so adorable when it was covered in dirt? Her thoughts questioned her sanity as she forgot how awkward it was to be caught staring at another apprentice.]
