...it would make sense. I also suggest you PHYSICALLY place an ANBU guard at the gates so no one has any excuse to get past.
As the Kage, you could also simply declare that none of what I did happened and delete the appropriate posts if you wanted to. thought eh Dojo posts could probably be left (as they would be separate from the gate posts)

Beatriz-chan Cobra_X Beatriz-chan Cobra_X Beatriz-chan There are two clones of the kage standing in the office, if you were in such a hurry to enter, you could have pmed me or the jounin could have gone to the office, saying there was someone at the gate, instead of ignoring the authority of the kage.
Had you left a Kage clone at the gates with a squad of ANBU, I would have engaged them rather then making up NPC guards, but i did what I could with what was there at the time.Sealed the gates cause people kept walking in and out without doing proper posts. The clone on the gate I didn't think about it, good idea. Your argument "I did what I could" sounds more like "I did what I could think of" cause there were still other things you could have done to not wait there for much time.
If you closed the gates becasue people weren't doing proper posts, then I submit that I earned the right to enter by doing the right thing and actually putting effort into getting into the village.Indeed, though the jounin still didn't choose the best option of posts and did what he did. I will stop arguing too. I would have thought that a jounin (one of the highest ranking positions in a village) would have the authority to let a villager of Iwagakure enter, I figured that the gates were mean to be sealed to shinobi from other villages, I didn't think it would turn into such a big deal
