Tatsuhiro sighed and leaned in to rest in Nathan's arms. "I don't want to hurt you. Never. I want to be useful to you and have you love me. I can't get that if I become a danger to you."

Nathan gently pulled Tatsuhiro's head away so he could look into his eyes. "I don't want to hurt you, either. But I promise you that it would hurt and be a greater danger to me if you leave, because then I'd search for you. If I didn't care for all of you already, I'd try to leave myself. I'm just as terrified of hurting any of you as you are of hurting me."
He smiled shakily. "But I do care, so leaving would be pointless because I'd turn around and go back without realising it. So I'm going to stay and pray I don't get any of you hurt. Will you stay with me?"

"Only if you want me to," Tatsuhiro replied. He closed his eyes and he remained in Nathan's arms for as long as he could manage. He tried to get himself calmed again. "I don't want to leave you. But I don't want to hurt you again either. "I can't help the way I am though. This whole thing. I'm dead already. I turned into this because I had a curse put on me. But it can't be taken away because then I would be giving up my soul and my magic and then I would be left with nothing and die."

"Tatsuhiro, I don't want you to change. Just be who you are and stay with me, please. That scratch was nothing: just wait until I try to fix something in the house. I'm a disaster area with a hammer and nails, and I'll need a few kisses to make it all better." He winked. "Will you stay with me so you can kiss it better?" he asked softly.

Tatsuhiro finally saw that there was no way around thins. Nathan would keep on at it until he got his way. It was a bit selfish in a sense but Tatsuhiro loved Nathan dearly and either way he would give in eventually. He nodded and sighed. "Alright. I'll stay. I'll have to get myself declawed or something but I don't want to leave you."

Nathan put a finger on Tatsuhiro's lips. "You don't need to declaw, but... thank you, so much." He smiled and removed his finger, kissing Tatsuhiro's lips softly. Then he lifted himself off of the Necromancer, standing and offering him a hand. "Come with me."

Tatsuhiro hesitated a little but finally he took Nathan's hand and was helped up. He looked around and then back at the other. "I guess we have to finish up the shopping."

"Or we can play hooky and get an ice cream or something else." Nathan suggested, holding on and gently tugging Tatsuhiro with him.

Tatsuhiro really had no choice but to follow along. "Won't the little one get mad though?" he asked as he walked along being led by Nathan.

"He'll understand and we'll get him an ice cream as well - or hot chocolate or whatever. So what do you fancy?" Nathan grinned at him, then stopped walking for a moment to cup Tatsuhiro's face with his free hand. "Or I can take you home before finishing the shopping if you'd prefer."

The Angel nodded and started them walking again. "So, what do you want? We can buy things to bake cakes later when we've done with the furniture. Don't you just love the smell of baking chocolate?"

"Yeah. I personally prefer vanilla for moat things though. It a wider variety of uses compared to chocolate. With that you have to be very careful."

"In that case, we make several different cakes - oh!" Nathan beamed at him. "We could have a cake baking contest! I mean, Mao and Yoru might not want to, but... they might?" He bit his lip, doubtful as they neared the shops where Chessy could be seen darting around inside.
