She now stood there with her arms folded beneath her breasts making them push up a bit. Reaper always loved using her shadow magic especially when it came to using them on Jay.

"All right then. I suppose we should focus on..basic shadow fighting techniques. In a simple fight such as ours, where killing isn't meant, it's important to controll and portion your energy. A surprise attack can make all the difference when you're low on mana, so here's what I want you to do"
Jay would sigh and say "Focus your energy and push it into the ground...make a shadow"

Quils crept through the underbrush, feeling vulnerable in his current outfit. This very same attire gained him attention from women and men. Men who thought that he was a girl because of his figure and hair. Normally he would take the oppurtunity to get a free meal but sometimes he'd end up being groped by a few perverts, causing him to have a sincere distaste for Id's selection. As he squeezed between the trees he could spot two people in a clearing, one a man and the other a familiar looking girl. He took a closer look, realizing who the girl was "Reaper..."he said. He stalked through the thick bushes, crouching as he neared, remaining out of sight. "What's going on?" he whispered to himself as he watched the two.

Reaper spread her legs apart just a little bit. Holding her hands out in front of her. Channeling her shadow magic making it form between her hands first. The wind was starting to pick up a bit when the shadow magic came to her hands. This was a new trick..she never made a shadow before. She always used the ones around her instead. After a few moments believing she had enough she turned her palms face down towards the ground. Guiding the shadow energy down towards the ground. Imagening in her mind of the magic going into the soil and slowly start taking shape of a shadow. No specific form or details just a shadow.

"Good!" Jay said with a pleased smile, saying "You've mastered making shadow on the ground. Now...go to that tree" he said, pointing to a thick oak tree and saying "Push your dark energy into that. Not so that it wilts...but enough to make a hole-shaped shadow"

"Jay..I'm blind....Can't see the tree your referring to." Reaper immediately whispered.
Did he forgot already? Or did he just overlooked it? So Reaper stood there waiting for him to lead her there or tell her which direction the bloody tree was in.

"Feh. I thought you could see aura" He muttered as he continued to point at the tree." You should be able to feel my aura and comprehend where I'm pointing" He said, thinking he'd have to start from the beginning if she was unable to handle the task.

He examined their actions, shocked by the sudden formation of a shadow. He sat in disbelief eyeing the two and scrutinizing their actions. He could see how the man was pointing to a tree, but wasn't Reaper blind? Quils shook his head once more, the man obviously knew that. He strained to listen to them, catching bits and pieces of their conversation, enough to roughly understand what was going on.

Reaper frowned. She took the bandanna off and wrapped it around her right hand. "Now I can see your aura."
Her brandy eyes were clearly glazed over giving them a icy look. Her hand glided over across his arm to his hand then stared at the tree he was pointing to. Patience was defiently something he didn't have. She walked over ther and placed her hands flat against the tree. Her eyes not blinking once the entire time. The tree also had an aura the entire world did really. So she saw nothing but all of these mix colors that had no real shape but enough to tell her what was what.
Again..she focused in her mind through the shadow magic. Of it going into the tree not to damage it. Anything but to damage it. To make the hole circle of a shadow upon the tree. having to focus just a tad bit more then she had to with the ground.

"Excellent. You've mastered putting shadows on objects. When you get better, you'll be able to do this in an instant. I've...seen mana casters doing handsprings and laying down these traps." He said with a grin. "Now, observe" He said as he walked to the shadow and put his foot on it..then watched as his foot sunk down deeper and twisted around his foot, preventign him from moving "Gah..." Jay said, wincing a tad. "This happens on an..." Jay stopped, unable to remove his foot "Enemy."

Reaper could only feel what was happening with her magic. Feeling Jay put his foot on it and then feel his foot get suddenly pulled it. The shadow tightening its grip around it. It was an interesting trick. She had to train with that kind more often. She couldn't but grin when Jay was unable to move and take his foot out of the shadow.

"I was going to show you a better trick...but apparently I can't get my foot out" Jay grumbled as he looked to reaper "Tell your shadow to let go"

"Awww...but I'm having so much fun!" Reaper whined. Grinning menacingly as her shadow continued to hold onto his foot. If she had it her way she would've told the shadow to just completely suck him in all the way. That would've been a blast. After a good five minutes the shadow finally released Jay's foot.

Jay smirked and said "All right. Now YOU step into the shadow" he said, motioning her over into the shadow and saying "Be perfectly still. Keep your hands at your sides and don't move"

Reaper's smile left her face. Her arms folded beneath her breasts against with her right foot tapping. "I may be blind but I'm not bloody stupid. There is no way I am stepping into my own trap. You'll make it wrap around me and pull me in."
