I see, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I suppose that it is a sort of situation that when a person's family or people they live with are so strict that naturally a person within the family will eventually develop a more open mind in response to the rest of the families strictness.
I suppose it may even go as deep as a Psyhcological sort of difference between the family and the the way the person's who is more opens mind works than the families.

Intellegence is very important, it is there loss in my opinion to not seem to pay attention to you as much.

I will admit that with closed-mindedness there comes a certain loss. If I shut all of my friends out of my life that had anything going on that I may not agree with, then I would have maybe one friend... MAYBE one friend...

3nodding Yes, all in all closemindedness is one of the leading causes of all of thoe problems, and often a person that is closeminded cannot be change if you cannot convince them thier closemindedness is wrong.

As you can see... The main place where I tend to be close-minded is with relationships. It will take a miracle to make me not be close-minded in that area anymore... I was too open to relationships in the past.

Love can be spelled two ways with 4 letters in my opinion:
L-O-V-E
&
H-E-L-L

If I were to venture a guess I would say that there is more of a chance of NKJV than NIV. The English seems to more closely match the NKJV. I kind of pay attention to what is more widely used in the different translations.
Anyway... Your posting of that verse made me think of another verse that I have felt for a very long time to be a brother/sister verse of it. Romans 12:9-21.
