Reaper was keeping up rather well. A mix of jumping, running, and teleporting. He really wasn't used to traveling like this either. He'd done something similar waaaaay back when. Before he ever had his powers. Running from cops and thugs across rooftops after he'd...played. But he hadn't done this in years. And, to be doing it just to be doing it....it was fun. Surprisingly fun. Adrenaline was going, he could once again feel his heart pumping when it shouldn't even be there, it was amazing. Sooo much better than being stuck inside.

{Enter U. Strange from the Marvel Universe}
A young man who, aside from being no more than 25, looked eerily like the missing Doctor Steven Strange, stood on a fairly empty sidewalk, blinking. He no idea how he'd gotten there, for one thing, but for another... he'd been absolutely positive that New York had been basically underwater. Something about Magneto. It did look a little worse for the wear, but there were no signs of flooding or water damage...
He frowned. For that matter, he remembered... Something... His house. He'd been in his house, and it had been flooding, and... something had... the portal... something had gotten out of the... And he'd hit his head, he remembered that. And he'd breathed in water...
Quite suddenly, his eyes shot open very wide, and he started coughing instinctively, though nothing came out of his lungs. He'd died. He was absolutely positive that he'd died. Something had gotten out, and he'd hit his head, gone underwater, and... blacked out. D. E. A. D. spells DEAD.
Had it all been some sort of insane dream? ... No. His clothes and hair were still damp, and smelled of seawater. So... what the hell? Maybe he hadn't actually died; maybe he'd just been unconscious, and someone had pulled him out. Or something.
...right.
Still breathing hard from all the useless coughing, he got himself over to a bench and sat down. Breathe in, breathe out. Breath in...

After scowering every part of the City that she thought the other teenagers could possibly be at...as quickly as she could...Star exhausted herself and simply had to stop. She reappeared on a random rooftop, and just collapsed. With a groan, she fell over, letting the upper half of her body hang off the edge of the roof. Her black curls falling out of her hood and drooping towards the ground below. She didn't care if anyone seen her, she didn't care if they freaked out and thought she was going to fall off. The way she was feeling right now...it didn't sound like such a bad idea.
What a mess. What an absolute mess. What was she supposed to do now? Find Peter? Find a magic user? Find her uncle? Uuuuggggghh...

ENTER from Gotham
Reaper bound across the rooftops, finally feeling some bit of relief as the buildings changed in style. He was in New York now. Had to be. Rather weird going from place to place this way. Be rather easy for him to get lost. He still wasn't quite out of the woods yet though. He still needed to find the small area that Edel was living at now. Or another magic user of some sort.
He paused on a building to catch his breath and regain his bearings. Alright...so, where was he at right now? The Sanctum should be...that way, right? So....that would put....Edel's home...over...um...aw, s**t. He had no idea. His one clone kind of accidentally came upon it. Then he just shadowed his way back and forth. No real need to pay attention to where it was at.
He paused for a moment, looking around, then froze. He could feel it. That...thing was nearby again. As much as he wanted to find exactly where the man was hiding now, tell him off, demand his powers back, beat the daylights out of him...he knew he was outmatched. Even with powers. And he'd probably be popping up right behind him any moment now. Well...the real X couldn't get into the Sanctum, right? He'd just go straight there instead of wandering around the city. Maybe he'd be able to find some magic thing in there that he could use as well. Give him some form of help while he looked for Edel's place.
Without waiting to see if Xion was going to appear or not, Reaper bound off across the buildings once more. He made it across quite a few blocks, then realized that he was coming up shorter and shorter on his jumps. He stopped for a moment to see if he could find what was wrong. Then he watched as the black inky skin pulled back and disappeared on it's own. Oh, no. No, no, now. He was not getting stuck on the roof of a building with this guy. While he still had some of his Blood left, and without looking at who was on the ground below him, Reaper lept off the side of the building. He came to land just on the corner of the sidewalk and lost his footing, falling sideways onto the street. With that, the Blood was now gone as well.

Someone landed in the street. The sound of impact was enough to snap Steven out of it somewhat, and his head jerked over to the source of it at once. A young man... well, at least--Steven frowned-- he looked young, but there was something funny about... Anyway, he'd landed on the corner, but had apparently lost his balance and gone toppling off the curb and into the intersection. Traffic was pretty light (for some reason), but the whole thing was alarming enough that Steven momentarily forgot about the whole demon attack/drowning escapade and jumped to his feet.
Hurrying forward, he seized the man and pulled him up and back off of the asphalt while horns blared. He must have jumped off the building, but didn't have any injuries, so... was he a mutant, or something? Granted, he still wasn't very good at this whole magic thing, at least in his own estimation, but there was normally some sort of tell when somebody had superpowers. "You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Reaper grunted, not looking back at the man quite yet. Honestly he wasn't. The blood retracted right as he hit the ground. He was very, very lucky he didn't just break both his legs doing that. But, on the bright side, he wasn't stuck on a building w--- wait. That voice sounded familiar.
Reaper turned around to see just who had grabbed him, and his entire being seemed to slump with relief. "Ohthankgod..." he let out in one breath, before he even realized he'd said it. It hadn't quite hit him yet that this man was much younger than Strange should have been. Just the fact that he was there was enough. He was back. He was back, and he could do something about his powers...and that X thing...and that laboratory...and get Cat back...and...
Meanwhile, up on a rooftop behind the two, Xion stood and stared down at the ground below. His one eye resting on Strange, and something rather...nervous behind it. "...oh hell."

Steven just blinked, not missing the relieved body language. Something was... very, very wrong, here. Not just this person he'd never seen in his life suddenly acting like he was his long lost brother, or something. He hadn't noticed it before, mostly because he'd been freaking out so badly, but the whole world was just... off. Like it was existing on a different... wavelength from the one he was used to. No, that sounded stupid. "...Um...Always nice to be appreciated," he said slowly, his body language growing subtly more wary.

// lol. So much awkward. //
Reaper opened his mouth to say something again, but stopped and blinked. Always nice to be appreciated? Other than reprimanding him, Strange hadn't said a whole lot to Reaper. But...that didn't really sound like something Strange would say. It should be a little more...something.
"...wait." Reaper mumbled. His face was younger. The white streaks were gone. And he looked as though he'd never met Reaper in his life. "...um...what are you doing out here?" was all he could think to say. He was assuming that maybe...something happened to Strange while he was...gone. Like...maybe this was the same guy, just...de-aged from some weird magic side-effect.

Steven's eyes hardened slightly, and then flicked over the man's face again. It was obvious that he was taking notes. "Now why would you ask me something like that, hmm?" Did he know something? It sounded like he knew something. Maybe he was somehow involved with whatever had randomly transported him from the waterlogged, demon-infested interior of his house to a completely water-free New York street.
...Although... that didn't quite fit. This guy wasn't acting like he knew what was going on; he was just acting like he knew Steven. Which--business aside-- seemed pretty unlikely. That in combination with the fundamental wrongness of the energy around him was almost enough to make him wonder...

Ok, now he KNEW that this wasn't the same guy. "....because I figured after getting abducted by some other powerful being, being gone for days, Strange would back at home rather than out on the streets when he returned." Reaper replied, taking a step away from the man. Even his outfit was a tad different. "...but I've got a strong feeling you're not the same guy I thought you were."
Either Strange had something really weird happen to him....or this was an alternate version. Super... Well...on the bright side...it was still Strange right? A version who didn't know him at all, or probably anything as far as X went...but still Doctor Strange. Powerful Doctor Strange.

Steven regarded him for a long moment, then sighed and ran a hand through his dark hair. "This is one of those alternate reality things, isn't it?" he asked flatly. Something about his tone made it clear that he wasn't actually asking a question; it was the only thing that made sense. Well. Great. What was it that kid Peter Parker always said? ... Right. Fan-freaking-tastic.
He looked back up at the guy for a beat. "I'm sure that I'm going to regret asking this, but..." He paused, then continued reluctantly. "What exactly did you need... me... for?"

"Yeah..." Reaper replied, then looked a tad uncomfortable himself. "A lot actually...crazy super powerful stalker being took my powers...evil laboratory, that has Black Cat captured...and if you could help find the Doctor Strange that I'm familiar with and all of the rather big-name heroes that are missing with him...that would be really great."
Xion let out a long sigh. Wonderful. Well then, he should have just enough time to grab the psychic girl, brain wash her, take her back to the lab, get what he needed out of it, and try to find someplace out of the way.

Strange frowned and looked to his left, only half listening. Nothing visually stuck out. "Great. Yeah. I'll see what I can do about that. Um... Not to change the subject, but there's something kind of... big. Magically. Is it with you?"

"Nope." Reaper replied. "If it's who I think it is, he took my powers, and is helping the lab."
Xion grimaced a bit and vanished from the rooftop he was on. Which, should have answered Reaper's suspicions.
He reappeared on the rooftop that Gold Star was on. She only had enough time to realize that someone was there before his eye flashed again. Her eyes flashed a gold color, then faded into a bit of a haze. She teleported herself away, and Xion prepared to do the same.

Steven resisted the urge to sigh again. This... was going to get very complicated very quickly. "Right. Black Cat," he added, more thoughtfully, "That's... Spider-man's little 'friend,' right? And the version of me that you know has gone missing? How exactly did that happen?"
