But yea.. after My pack leader had his fun with me being immortal, he discarded me from the pack, and the Mer leader took my traumatized body and cared for me. So I Guess, when i think about it. you're not the only one that's treated me kindly.."

"Back then I was really young and submissive.. even innocent. My Leader decided to "break me", if you know what i mean.. But i wouldn't let him do it, crying out that i'd rather dye a thousand deaths than let him have me.. so the ironic thing is.. he let me have it my way.. and even killed me a thousand times before ditching me near the mer lake. But My leader is long dead.. you wont be seeing him anytime soon."

Rick chuckled. "Back then, the Alphas were much much more strict. When they wanted something, they got it, or else. It was the same with the mer. When my alpha started a fight with him for taking me in, the mer got real mad and boiled him alive in a geyser. He unfortunatly lived, but suffered for most of the rest of his life." he nodded. "You didn't wanna cross the packleaders back then."

Aura shakes his head again, still baffled that one creature could treat another like that. "Well, at least you don't get treated that way by me. I probably would have tried to kill the b*****d, if he'd been coming after me."

"Well that's because Alphas and Betas can only die from old age, regardless of how much damage you do to them. Unless you take off their head." He smiled at Aura though. "I wish i could remember what that mer Alpha looked like... but strangely enough.. i do believe he was colourful."

"They got old." He said simply, shrugging. "Yea.. leaders have to train and stuff to become quallified to run teh pack. Sure your usually born with the wings.. but without the skills you're screwed."
