"Well, none of my family members are anywhere within a fifty-yard radius. I could smell them, even Azrael and Salem, who aren't bloodrelated to me..."
She bit her lip as she thought.
"I also put up some charms inside the house's walls to keep anyone from portaling in here besides me..."

She looked like she had a splitting headache.

She paused.
"Oh, don't worry, this happens every day. Somebody, I don't know who, they open like 20 portals at once, trying to escape something, though they can never leave..."
