Why is the Naval hospital closing?! gonk
[rant] I went to the VA emergency room about a week ago because I had a hard time breathing. They did all the tests, which I hadn't done is a few years, and took x-rays to look at my lungs. Then they prescribed ibuprofen, a pain killer that doesn't work for me. That's not what I wanted from them. gonk I went to the Naval hospital for a follow up appointment and they gave me an inhaler to test for asthma. They know what they're doin. Yesterday the inhaler didn't work so I went back to the emergency room. This time they gave two medicines, both pain killers. scream I don't need the damn pain killers, tell me what to do about my breathing problem, ya idiots! (I really wanted to shout that at them.) One of the side effects of one of those medicines just happen to be breathing problems. burning_eyes WTH?! That's what I went in there for. I went into the pediatrics today instead of family practice, where I should have been, and they gave me an everyday inhaler to go with the emergency inhaler I already had, plus a spacer. I don't mind that they did that since it was still at the Naval hospital, but I still should have gone to see my own doctor instead of the VA making the appointment for me.[/rant]
I case you actually read that, but didn't understand, the Navel hospital on base is closing in 2010 and has already shut down the emergency room that was part of it and separated from the VA ER. The people in the VA are idiots who don't know what the bloody hell they're doin and the doctors at the Naval hospitalclinic are much more trustworthy.

This gets seen much more often than my lessons so I'm just going to tell everyone here...
I will start babysitting for someone my dad works with on Monday for about a month, so this weekend I promise to get at least one Latin lesson and hopefully fix up the kanji thread some more. Besides that I won't have any Internet access from 8am-9pm every weekday for about a month and probably have some schoolwork and chores to do on Saturdays so can only come on Sundays. I will try to make some more lessons if I ever get some time. Just thought y'all should know. biggrin

I'm not learning Japanese anymore because I found it boring. I just didn't like it; I went on to Russian, and that was definitely for the best. heart
At any rate, I know someone who's trying to learn 20. Look up MiasmaMoon. mad D

I like Japanese, its not too hard, not too easy. But if I was stuck with only Japanese, I would be sad. I'd have to go with Hindi if I had to pick one. It R t3h pwn, verily.
Of what, the guild? Looks the same to me. Is there something I ought to notice? By the way, *stabs you in the eye*.

I started my Chinese lessons. It was....not so great. The teacher didn't know anything about teaching beginners, so I wasn't really learning anything. Not sure whether to keep it up or not...
