At the last minute Mike turned and stuck his own hand out to catch Sere’s falling fist. The fire from his gloves caught her and she started to scream, but instead of pulling her hand away, it continued on its path towards him and directly into the heart of the fire, where she held it for several more seconds, unable to stop the screaming coming from some primal place inside her. Half pain, half rage, all anguish.
Serenity pulled her arm out of the fire and let her self fall to the ground looking at the now charred flesh on her arm. ‘I wonder if that’s what they felt.’ She looked back up at Mike.
“Did that feel good? As good as it did when you destroyed my home town? As good as it did when my parents roasted alive in a fire you caused by your actions? Tell me Mike, was it good for you too?”

A smile found it's way to her lips. For all that had happened today she managed to smile. A hand to the knee probably should have meant something, but she barely noticed. But when his hands held hers, she felt the slight shock once more. It was odd, but nice. She pulled his hand across her cheek, carefully and slowly as to not hurt the boy. However, the girl didn't think too much of it, chalking up the feeling to her sorry state. "See you in the morning Kilik," she said retuning his small wave as Nurse Joy wheeled her out of the room.
Back in her own room a chubby, pink Chansey picked her up nd placed her onto the bed. A wave of hurt quickly covered her body as the feeling of exhaustion soon sank in. "You're looking just a bit better," the nurse lied. "Go ahead, get some sleep." The permission was like a grant from an angel. Mitsu closed her eyes and immediately she was out.

Kasiya had been fully expecting for Keegan to try to push her way with words and she'd been fully expecting to counter him with words of her own. She was so ready for him to just stop and give her that look, and then they'd walk and they'd make things right, and then everything would be all right...
...but that's not how it happened, not at all. The words, yes the words, she'd expected those, and she'd opened her mouth to protest, to fight for their relationship but he'd grabbed her shoulders with such force that she cried out from the pain. The kiss itself was by far the single most frightening experience for her so far this evening, as even though Keegan was weak and hurt, he still managed to overpower her quite easily, and struggle as she may she couldn't get free. At least, not until he threw her to the ground. Kasiya sat up a bit and turned her head slightly to stare at the retreating redhead's back, trying to rid herself of the metallic tang in her mouth by wiping her face with the back of her hand, her stomach on the verge of emptying whatever contents it still held.
"Keegan..." she whispered, staring at the blood - his blood - on her hands. She began to cry for the umpteenth time that day and she lied back down on the ground, curling into the fetal position and sobbing silently.

"They're for Pokemon yeah, but it'll help people too!" Sasha yelled, looking around frantically for the Mart. To be honest, she had no idea if it would work, but dammit she wasn't going to just sit around and do nothing. "We can help people later! Now we're going to focus on fixing you!" The pink haired girl kicked the door to the Pokemon Mart open, nearly blasting it straight off its hinges. "J'ai besoin d'un Burn Heal maintenant!" The person behind the counter jumped a foot in the air, unable to deal with two bloodied girls kicking in their door, the taller one screaming at him in some alien language. He heard Burn Heal, and practically threw it at the shrieking banshee in a mix of confusion and terror.
"MERCI!" Sasha screamed before setting her friend down on a nearby chair. "Alright, let's have a look at what we are looking at here." she gently lifted up Kirsa's arm and inspected the damage. It didn't look too bad, but she was sure it hurt like hell. "Zere might be a little ouchie." the girl said before spraying Kirsa's wounds with the Burn Heal.
-----
The boy only raised an eyebrow at the girl's actions. Sure, she screamed, but she had to ruin it with some stupid antics. It reminded him of his other half, and it made his stomach turn. "You know what, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about girl. Get out of my face." he kicked her in the side and walked off, more than a little annoyed. He even had a great one-liner for when she ran off in tears too. He snorted, grabbing a Pokeball from his strap. "I think it's time to leave. This has gotten dull and as odd as it sounds, I'm sick of lighting people on fire." He tossed the Pokeball lightly, releasing Mike's prized Charizard.
Nitro looked around yawning lazily before noticing just what the hell had gone on. The place was completely destroyed, people were scattered everywhere! What was Mike doing just standing there when there were people that needed help?
"Let's go Charizard." the boy replied quietly.
The Pokemon's neck nearly snapped in two as his head flew back in disbelief. What?! Nitro looked around for something, anything that would convince him otherwise. There! Kasiya! She looked hurt, badly! The Charizard roared, pointing frantically towards his friend lying on the ground in a crumpled mess.
The boy sighed and walked over to her, looking down at the blond with relative disinterest. "She did help me out before." he said to himself. "And while I'm not the overly nostalgic type." He bent down. "I'm sure I could find a use for her soon enough." The boy scooped up the girl and slung her over his shoulder. "Mine now." he said, mounting Nitro.
"To Kanto, and make it snappy." he commanded, his Pokemon hesitantly complying.

She figured she had spend enough time on the ground today. The kick in the gut from Mike was just the last thing she needed. She grunted as she tried to sit herself up. 'What on earth does he mean he doesn't know what I'm talking about? How could he have already forgotten?' she wondered. She watched in bewilderment as the boy walked away. She saw him release his Charizard, hop on and scoop up Kasiya then fly away. 'So much for making sure she was taken care of.'
Serenity was now in a tricky situation. With the agonising pain from the burn in her right arm, and the still shooting pains down her left arm she had no real way to get herself up off the ground. She was tired. Exhausted actually, and with the last of the real threats gone, she had no real reason to hurry in to any particular building. She sighed. Tomorrow was going to be an equally long day, given how much she hurt now, she figured that it would be at least ten times worse tomorrow. Things were always worse the next day.
"Worst day ever." She muttered. "Or close enough anyway." With no where to go, and no real way to get her a** up off the ground Serenity laid back on the gravel and just stared up into the already changing sky. 'It'll be dark soon. Then what will I do? Ah well, I'll deal with that when it gets here.'

"It's a simple game... Think of it as a massive game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. As you know, every Pokemon is weak to something. Fire to Water, Ground to Grass, Flying to Electricity and so-forth. You just need to read your opponent to figure out what they're going to do. It's easier when you know their Pokemon, so when you fight a friend you're almost guaranteed . Read their motions and it gives them away every time. Think of it this way: Fire is like aggression, so a person is likely to be more aggressive when they're about to use a Fire-type. Water is like...serenity. A person is likely to be more calm when they're going to use Water. Now, these aren't always true so don't think too hard about this philosophy when you're taking your gamble. Now then. Everyone must wager something in the match. A minimum of $1000, and a maximum of $5000." He took a long drag on his cigar, "Any questions?"
The boy nodded, clenching his fists tightly. He looked around at the other gamblers. This was going to be cake - he would be able to read them all like books when it got down to it.
Kilik woke up, a bead of sweat trickling down his cheek. His eyes darted around his room. "Ah..." he sat up, wincing, glancing at the door. He could see light from under the crack, a few shadows going past it. "What a dream. I could literally smell the smoke, and the stench of alcohol." He shivered.
=*=
"Dahaha!" he laughed, standing up quickly. So quickly, in fact, that he nearly fell face first into the sand. "Alright, Kyoka! You're all mine!" He tossed the ball containing his Murkrow. The witchy Pokemon landed on the rock, spreading his wings out. "Murkrow, follow that Charizard!" he pointed dramatically at the retreating lizard. The bird nodded and flew off after it. Mazarin punched the air, laughing excitedly.
Then he paused. "Oh..." he frowned, "You forgot me! Murkrooooow!" he called out. The bird stopped in its tracks and flew back to him, looking at him with a face that said 'You expect me to keep a good eye on him while carrying you?' Mazarin grabbed Murkrow around the middle and stared at him. "Listen to me, jive turkey. You are first and foremost going to carry, lift, and fly me after that Charizard! That guy is under arrest as of right now! Now carry me!" He shook the bird, who began to furiously peck at his trainer's head.
"Ack! I'm sorry! S-stop it!" He cried out. The bird latched onto the straps that his wings were connected to and began to flap his wings furiously. Once he got his wind, the Murkrow was off on the chase. Mazarin took a deep breath. "Mike Kyoka!!" he yelled, "By order of the Tactical Elite Acuity Mercenaries, T.E.A.M, you are hereby, henceforth, furthermore and without hesitation and further ado!!" He paused for a minute to breathe deeply once more, "Under arrest!" Now slow the hell down, you pyrotechnic freakazoid.

M.A. glanced out the window to see the fiery sun set into the sea, splashing the sky and darkening waves gold and red. At any other time, she might have thought it magnificent, but with the impression of today still too strong in her mind, she could only shudder away at the sight of this ocean to sky of blood. Daemyn's blood, her own, Kilik's blood, Mike's blood, blood here and there and inside and outside everyone... Disgusting.
Mrs. Rustings hugged her daughter's waist, since she couldn't reach the girl's shoulders. "How about you rest a bit? It's been a long day. Sae can take you to the room --" the mother deftly signed the little release waiver that the Chansey brought in, "while the rest of us help those still injured out there." Mr. Rustings and Rein nodded uniformly, eager to get back out there. They had left a job undone to check up on M.A., who turned out perfectly fine anyhow.
M.A. frowned a little, about to say that she wasn't that tired. It was nice having hemoglobin in ya. But on the other hand, she didn't want to accompany her family in carrying limp, bloody bodies. So she shrugged and assented with an appreciative smile, and the whole of the family walked outside. Mrs. Rustings suddenly frowned inexplicably and glanced worriedly at her daughter, but said nothing. They parted as M.A. was in no rush to get back to confined space, and so the siblings walked slower.
They passed the former center of the commotion, the seminar's location. The stage was in ruin, few chairs remained intact and none remained standing, and there was not a Rocket in sight. They had either fled or been arrested by now, she figured. There were still some trainers lying about, groaning, and M.A.'s eyes skimmed over them, disinterested. One particular bloody blonde caught her eye, though, and her sharp eyes gradually discerned it to be that nice Kasiya girl. M.A. could feel no sympathy, though, even as she saw her beloved red-head walk away and curl on the floor lifelessly. The brunette had lost only once close person in her life, during her early childhood, but she had been too shallow to understand the extent of loss. And she still didn't. The only thing she thought was that Kasiya sure looked pitiful and despicable like that. She was too apathetic to try to smile and make light of things.
She caught a glimpse of that Mike guy firing flames on another girl and saw him picking Kasiya up and flying away, but did not get to muse on the sight long as Sae pulled her closer, stifling her view and walking faster. Sure, he felt bad for the burned girl, but he wasn't about to attempt getting close a mass murderer and put his sister in danger, too. That murderer had nearly taken Rein away from him, and he wasn't gonna put up a replacement for her near-death. For what he could see, the burned girl was alive and kickin', and his blonde associate might have been involved with that disaster two years ago so Sae could not feel any sympathy there. His family and all the other helpers would take care of the rest. As far as he knew, no one was dead that would be dead anytime soon.
M.A., meanwhile, replayed the image of burning people in her mind. Like watching a live-action movie. Her flesh tingling, her heart speeding up in fear made her feel alive, though something in her mind told her that this grotesque thing was not something to be fascinated at. As repulsed as she was, she wanted ... She didn't know. To feel more alive, maybe. Something besides her comfortable, perpetual cheer.

Sabrina was terrified out of her mind, but refused to let it show. So this is Mewtwo, she thought. Potentially one of the strongest Pokemon to ever exist... The Genetic Pokemon crossed his arms, floating in a circle around the girls. "Would the three of you kindly tell me what you are doing in here?" he asked, a soft yet angry tone to his voice. "We weren't coming to disturb you," Nina said, hiding her own fear. "We were looking for someone, someone that's been causing nothing but chaos to people and Pokemon alike. Maybe you've heard of him? A man posing as Maorde Menskr?" Mewtwo laughed. "Maorde Menskr?" he repeated. "You expect me to believe that fabricated story? Don't you dare lie to me. The three of you are just like everyone else; you want to further your research and nothing more. You want my DNA so you can clone me. You humans only care about your own selfish needs and don't care about the people or Pokemon that you hurt along the way. You all sicken me." Whitney shook her head furiously. "It's not like that!" she protested. "It's not like that at all! We aren't scientists! We really were looking for someone! And we do care about our Pokemon, we do!"
Mewtwo let out an infuriated yell. "Don't you dare lie to me, you wretch!" This caused the girl to jump, being startled out of her mind. "I'm sick and tired of you people coming inside of here to bother me. How many times must I migrate in order to get the point across that I simply want to be left alone?!" Sabrina shrunk back a little as Mewtwo yelled at them. "Mewtwo," she said, remaining as composed as possible, "we are truly sorry for bothering you. We didn't know that you resided here, we didn't. If you'll allow us, we'll be on our way and you will never see us again. Okay?" Mewtwo honestly seemed to be contemplating Sabrina's offer, but he shook his head.
"No. Not okay. I am going to ensure that the lot of you never see the daylight again." His body glowed with a purplish aura, his eyes turning red again.
"I was afraid of this," Sabrina confessed, backing up to be with Nina and Whitney. "Girls," she continued, snatching up a Pokeball, "get ready. You're going to remember this fight for the rest of your lives."

Beep. Beep. Beep. "Mmm," Mitsu mumbled opening her eyes. She was just more than surprised to find wires and machines hooked up to her body. Beep. Beep. Beep. There was on oxygen mask over her mouth and nose. She took a deep breath of the good stuff before struggling. Panic set in relatively fast as the beeping increased with her heart rate. Get me out of here!
"Okay, okay, okay!" Nurse Joy replied rushing into the room. Working quickly she detached several wires, taking off the oxygen mask last. Mitsu gasped, sucking in some normal air. She looked up at the nurse. "Sorry," she replied, "A Chansey alerted me that you're whole body was shutting down last night. We had to keep you stable with all of this," she motioned to the machines.
"Oh," was all she could say. Maybe there was some truth in Kilik's words after all, maybe she really was as hurt as him. Joy's words quickly filled in the now blank expression that Mitsu wore. "But, you recover a lot faster than our other patients. I don't know how," she siad, "but the Chansey's have reported that you're in an able enough condition to be walking. Well, take care. Don't do anything dangerous all right?"
And with that the Nurse left. Mitsu sat up, swinging her legs over the bed. She didn't feel as tired, but she still was sore. "I'll go see how Kilik's doing," she said to herself before jumping down. "Hey there," Mitsu replied holding a tray as she entered the room. "Want some breakfast?"

Kilik woke up suddenly when he heard the door open, his hand tensing on the blanket. His eyes slammed shut again when all the light flooded into them. The boy sat up slowly, rubbing an eye and looking up to see who had entered the room. A light smile appeared on his face when he was able to make out that it was Mitsu. When he went to get out of the bed, he winced and fell back down.
"Sure," he said, laughing weakly with a yawn, "but it's not like I can get up from here." He pointed at the tubes going into his arm. Plus, it just hurt like a b***h to sit up. "I'll eat if you can feed it to me," he laughed, managing to sit up just a bit. Mitsu's being really nice to me, he thought, and I barely know her. Man. Mike sure missed out on a really nice girl.
Kilik put his hands in his lap, and stared at them. He was still really tired, and didn't feel much like getting up. He glanced down over the edge of his bed and reached an arm down, picking up his shirt by the sleeve. He pulled it on very slowly (wincing whenever he moved too fast) and began to button it up. "I'll take the eggs first," he looked over at her and ran a hand through his hair.

Kasiya looked around as she could hear more screaming coming from around her, and the next thing she knew, both Kirsa and Serenity had been burned by the flames Kasiya knew came from Mike's custom-made gloves. She closed her eyes and lied back down on the cold ground, trying to pretend like she hadn't seen what had just happened. Kirsa attacked him, she thought, nodding. Yes, that worked. And Sere, too. She must have as well, there's no other reason why Mike would attack them... no, not my Mike... he's a good person... She smiled at those thoughts, her mind drifting in and out of consciousness, and she was unsure of how much time had passed (in actuality about thirty seconds) when she was suddenly vaguely aware of someone lifting her up and without meaning to she clung like a small child to whoever'd picked her up off the pavement. There was a sense of familiarity in the air, and she opened her eyes in time to see the ground suddenly racing away from her, though the flaming tip of a long, orange, powerful tail trailing along behind. I know that tail, she thought with a smile, an amused giggle escaping her throat. It's just like Nitro's.
Wait, Nitro's?!
That revelation was like a slap to the face and she opened both eyes wide, realizing that she was now high above Slateport, flying on the back of the familiar Charizard. And if she was flying on Nitro, that meant one thing. Why is Mike taking me away from Slateport? she thought, deciding to keep her musings to herself for now. She figured that it had to be for some good reason (or at least the happily little part of her brain that blocked out bad things liked to think so). "Where we goin'?" she asked mildly, though the sudden shouts from behind them caused her to jump slightly. It was safe to say that Kasiya was quite confused by this, as she never would have thought for anyone to chase them when they were flying up high like this. "Oh, it's the dork with the Charizard wings," she said offhandedly, offering a little wave to the strange boy from earlier. "What does he mean by T.E.A.M. and why is he declaring you... us? Under arrest?" It was definitely safe to say that Kasiya was a little out of it by this point in time.

"Don't care." snapped the boy, looking past Kasiya to the idiot flying at him on the dinky little Murkrow. "We can't have anyone following us," he said simply, resting his arm on Kasiya's good shoulder and opening up his hand. "That and I just cannot be bothered to deal with this twerp right now. I hope the little s**t likes eating fireballs." Once again the boy took aim before lobbing a few flaming spheres in his direction, then turning back around. "That outta stall him enough for us to lose him." Just then, the boy felt a throbbing pain in his head. "Argh!" he growled. Perhaps all the beatings he took finally caught up with him? "It seems I'll have to go away for a bit. You take care now, love" said the boy as he took in a deep breath, contorted slightly and fell limply on Nitro's neck, landing on his nose.
What followed was one of the most piercing shrieks Mike had ever let out. "AAAAAAAAAGGGGGH!" he screamed again, looking around frantically, nearly losing his balance. "What the hell is going on?" he asked no one in particular. "Nitro? W-Why am I on Nitro? Wha-" he looked back, noticing Kasiya on board; she looked like crap. "WHY ARE YOU HERE AND BLOODY?!" Mike put a hand to his face, smelling blood and smoke. "WHY AM I BLOODY?! IS MY ******** NOSE BROKEN?!" He screamed again, all the beatings he had accumulated earlier rushing to him at once like a tidal wave of pain, but he didn't know what they were or how he had gotten them. It was the single worst feeling in his life. There was so much blood, on him, on Kasiya, he thought he was going to throw up on the spot. "Kass! Wha-what happened?!" he cried, clinging to Nitro's neck in terror as if he had never flown before in his life. "I-I'm so scared, I don't know what's going on!" Tears streamed down his face, landing with small 'pish'es on the Charizard's hot skin.

"Wait what." Kevin wasn't expecting the battle to start so suddenly, he figured there would be a countdown or something. As such the blue turtle got a face full of ghost-fist. Right then, fight time. "Walk it off Monsoon, a non corporeal arm couldn't have hurt too much. Counter it with a Bubble!"
Monsoon staggered back from the sudden attack. Shaking off the blow, he inhaled deeply and shot out a stream of bubbles at the Duskull in a wide spread to ensure a hit.

Ampersand only made a noncommittal noise in the back of his throat. He was watching the battle between the other two and was a bit disappointed. Really, if they wanted the other boy dead they certainly weren't trying hard enough, or really very hard at all. He was sure others found this somewhat horrific, what that boy had done and what he was doing. Really the whole thing when he thought about it the whole thing was just sad. The boy wouldn't last very long, not in his mental state. In fact Ampersand wouldn't be surprised if he got a call from his bosses to go 'take care' of him sometime soon. Then again they did have better things to do then to mess with one easily manipulated, now insane trainer. Grinning slightly at his thoughts, they were a bit dark and he was sure Cynthia would slap him upside the head if she could hear them.
When he saw the other girl get burned he sighed slightly. He could sense that while she was strong, she was only blinded by anger at the moment. That is why the other boy won the exchange, in a rather cheep way but winning is winning. After all sometimes you had to fight cheep, though that wasn't one of the times.
'Oh-ho!' Ampersand thought as the insane boy acted like a big man bullying younger girls. 'Tough man now aren't you?' He might not have a lot of morals but beating up on someone younger and weaker then you? Well there was just no redeeming that kind of action. The older man frowned as he watched as the insane one picked up the blonde girl from earlier and cart her away on his Charizard. He sighed and shook his head before turning back to Cynthia. "That was truely pathetic. Like some sort of soap opera. Only a soap opera would have been more entertaining, then again the boy is insane and they are teenagers. It would be a pain for me to expect high level drama from them." He shook his head again before looking out at the other injured people and grinned slightly at a somewhat dark thought. "The insurance companies are going to be feeling it after tonight."
~~~~~~~~
The other two girls grinned slightly at each other before seating themselves down at Robins table. Each of them looked at the trays of food, now empty, and frowned slightly. "That Aipom of yours can sure pack it away..." Sarah said as she pushed a tray with one finger. "Anyway are we glad to see you. We came over from the pokemon contests going on in Kanto for the beach party."
Next to her Jayme chuckled slightly and grinned. "That was fun, good thing we left before that mess started." She stuck her tongue out at the thought of being stuck there. "We are headed back to Kanto tomorrow, wanna come?"
'Wow!' Robin though, this was really a coincidence, she was had been planning to head down there and now she was finding out her friends were to. "Oh yeah that sounds great. I don't really have any plans, was just gonna wonder around some."
"Better to spend the time with some friends doing something then by yourself huh?"
Still sitting in his chair Luffy watched the girls talk a fork sticking out of his mouth. While he hadn't been able to stuff himself till bursting he didn't have a huge gut in front of him either, so that was good. Kanto? He didn't know where that was, then again he was bad with maps so that might be why. Maybe they had some good food there? He could only hope they did, maybe some cool battles to get into as well. They were talking about contests to, maybe it was an eating contest? Or a strength contest? He would like to compete in one of those!
Alice was buried in the blankets. It was already well in the afternoon when she finally rolled out of bed. She gave a yawn and a stretch She looked around the room and remembered all of what happened last night. It was nothing less than a crazy one at that. Being kicked out of the house, witnessing a ghost pokemon basically capture itself, and tag along with an unusual couple.
She finally stood up and stumbled to the bathroom, groping for her toothbrush she rubbed the sleepy from her eyes. After washing her face she was refreshed and renewed! She pulled out some essentials, one being her hairbrush. She brushed her fiery red hair to get out the kinks before slipping into her dress. Coming back out she saw Kadaj was sitting up looking out the window. She looked out and saw it was down pouring. "Tut tut, it looks like rain." She said softly to herself. Kadaj shot her a dirty look.
It took her a little while to notice the not that Jun had left her. Aidan was also gone, she felt a little alone and had no idea where her new friends were. She was also terribly hungry, "hey Kadaj! lets see what kind of food they have here." Kadaj yipped in excitement and jumped down to join Alice.
As she walked down the hallway she ran her fingers along the wall and admired the interior design of the hotel. She avoided the elevator and headed for the stairs while muttering to her self about falling death traps.
She found the fancy restaurant in the hotel and squealed in excitement. It was so pretty, she felt like a princess.
