I'm waiting for the day that a manga fan says that American comics should stop flipping the art.

*Is unaffected*
Technically, those 'guns' of his should be blowing up in his pixiliated e-face.

Raven_Darkholme I'm waiting for the day that a manga fan says that American comics should stop flipping the art. What kills me is when anime/manga fans go off about how anime/mange should not be compared to American cartoons/comics because of where each is produced, but fail to realize that mangas such as Gold Digger are American made. confused

Ya know, many, many years back, John Lennon and Yoko Ono introduced an artistic concept called bagism.
The idea of it was this: If all people went out in public in great big bags, that hid all of their features, so all you could do was hear their voices, people would be forced to look past appearances to judge them. You would have to get to know someone, the REAL them, not the person they tried to be with their clothes, or the person you expected them to be because of the color of their skin.
For all intents and purposes, the internet is an active, working version of bagism. People's actions determine how you form judgement of them.
What's sad, is that so many people, especially on Gaia, don't seem to care whether the opinion they give to others, of their TRUE selves, free of judgement from skin color and social position, is negative.

Go figure.

Edit: That sigh wasn't for your comment, Raven. I was just thinking about the AMC forum.

I'd say that I wish there were more intelligent anime fans. But I think it's just people in general that are just that stupid.
Therefore I wish there were more intelligent people. 3nodding

Therefore I wish there were more intelligent people. 3nodding I think one of the problems is that, unlike comic and manga fans, you have a lot of anime fans who don't really read. Which makes writing a chore for them; therefore they blurt out incomprehensible nonsense in the message boards. Basically, they need to read more instead of watching anime all the time.

No doubt, but I suppose it would explain why they seem to think that any random group of anime characters could "pwn" the JLA.
