Riyo let out a soft sigh as Mitsu curled up next to her and used her shoulder as a pillow. As she felt the girls breathing start to slow and moving cease, she couldn't help but let out a yawn as well. All that eating had sort of made her tired too. Maybe... A nap wasn't such a bad idea. Slowly, Riyo lowered her head and half propped it on the canine's, letting her eyes close and her consciousness fade off to the world around her.

"Yeah neither did I. But it seems they keep them as pets here too," replied Blade as he sat on the ground against the couch where Mitsu and Riyo were. He shot a glance at the girls behind him, smiling softly as they both seemed to fall fast asleep.
Turning his attention away from them, he looked towards Yuki and Hitsu more specifically.
"How are you guys feeling? You kinda drank a lot last night. At least it seemed like it."
Jasper, after getting a good feel for Neko's scent, lifted his head and purred as he was scratched below the chin. He liked these people.

Yuki looked worriedly at the glass, taking it carefully from Poke's hand. If Atticus said it would help, surely it would. He didn't like the look or the smell of it... But, he really didn't want to feel sick anymore.
It tasted even worse than he expected, but by some miracle when he choked it down it didn't come back up. Shuddering in displeasure, he offered the glass back to Poke.
Hitsu seemed to have no after effects at all from her drinking. In fact, she was pretty cheerful. Yuki stared at her a bit, quietly jealous that she wasn't the least bit miserable. As far as he knew, she hadn't even drank before last night.
Not much later, their missing comrades returned. Plus a cat. Hitsu immediately went for Jasper as he investigated Neko, cooing cutely to him and reaching out to pet him and scratch the top of his head. "Where did you find a kitty?"
To Blade, Yuki shrugged. "Hitsu seems to be peachy. I think I'm closer to puking now than I was three minutes ago, thanks to the terrible aftertaste of whatever Poke just gave me."

Mitsu snuggled in a little closer as she settled into sleep, her arms wrapping around Riyo's. She seemed rather content and peaceful as she drifted off, unable to fight sleep any longer. Hopefully the knowledge of her friends being there would be enough to keep the nightmares away.
Settling back into his chair, Neko allowed Hitsu to have full attention of the cat. Gauging by the way Yuki was acting and from what he was saying, it looked as though he was suffering from a major hangover. A small grin tugged at the corner of his mouth as he looked at his fellow feline. "Serves you right. I hope you enjoy every minute of that hangover. I had more than enough fun trying to lead you home last night." That reminded him...he still needed to reclaim his clothes. They had to be around here somewhere.
Getting up from the couch Neko moved passed Yuki to the hallway to peek into the other rooms to find his own shirt, pants, and other items.
As soon as Neko left the couch, Tobi stretched out the rest of the way, effectively taking up both cushions leaving no where to sit unless one were to move him. Now that he was comfortable, his tail began to way idly behind him.

Watching Yuki take the drink, poke had to wonder exactly how bad it tasted. Although she wasn't exactly impressed when he told blade he was gonna puke because of it. "You'll be thanking me if it works" she replied, then noticed everyone else had appeared. "Morning guys!" she waved to them all, then noticed a...cat of all things, had came in with them. What in the world was a cat doing here?
She watched hitsu pat it and...wondered if she could pat it too. It was a hit and miss with cats..sometimes they like her, sometimes they liked her as food. Cautiously she reached her hand out towards jasper to see what the cat would do.

Relaxing comfortably against the couch while the others rested, Blade looked at the others before looking at Jasper more specifically.
"Ah... he was hanging around the smithy here. His previous owner has been dead for a few years and I guess he took a liking to us," he said, being fairly vague by habit.
"Oh yeah, there's going to be a festival around here later tonight," Blade tossed in as he recalled it.

It continued on as a lazy day for the group leaving them to eagerly anticipate the up coming festival. As the sun drew closer to the western horizon the activities soon could be heard. Children dressed in all manners of costumes and masks laughed and played as they ran down the street toward their intended destination. At some point during the day someone had lined the streets with lanterns that now were ablaze with light, leading the way to the festival. The smell of food was already strong, even from this distance; and the strange music was somehow alluring.
Mitsu had awoken from her nap only a short time ago to find herself in a strange position on the couch. Since then she had wandered toward the door listening to the music that came drifting in their direction. "I wonder what it will be like.." She said softly in wonder as she looked out the window at the children passing by in front of the house.
"Seems the activities have started," Neko gave a stretch but did not bother to rise from the couch. He had, in so many words, been useless all day. It had been the first time they had been able to sit back and do nothing....so he was taking advantage of every moment.

It was quite blissful for poke, to not be either traveling or moving or required to do anything. Since the morning she had grabbed something to eat, then went back to sleep. She was starting to feel much better since her near death experience in the desert.
Since mitsu and neko were occupying the couch, poke had opted for a spot on the floor near a wall. She was using one of the bed pillows, and wasn't bothered to do anything at the moment unless asked.
Now she could faintly hear the strange festival music, and the food was making her hungry again. "hmm...a festival huh..." Was the extent of her opinion. She was interested in it...but not enough to move just yet.

For the most part, Blade hadn't moved from his spot by the couch, sticking by in case Mitsu awoke with a start. It seemed she had managed to get a fairly restful nap as he didn't recall her fidgeting in her sleep much. Hearing the festivities outside, he stood up and stretched out his limbs and glanced out the window.
"Yeah, so do you guys want to go check it out? It should be pretty fun. Not everyone gets to party with the dragons after all," he said with a slight grin. He was fairly eager to see what this festival of theirs was going to be like actually.
During the time everyone was relaxing, Jasper was taking a catnap on top of Riyo's lap.

Riyo's ears perked as noises from outside stirred her from the cat nap. "Wassat?" She questioned groggily and sat up, looking around with her eyes closed. "Are we surrounded?"
Atticus had finally come out of his room, though since all the chairs were taken, he leaned up against the wall. "No, that's the festival." He'd been listening to the conversations through the walls, so he knew exactly what was happening. Atticus wasn't a festival kind of guy, but he supposed anything was better than going through that heat trap of a desert.

"Are we supposed to dress up?" Mitsu asked as she gestured to the children and adults who had masks and costumes on. She wasn't sure what the masks were supposed to represent but they looked interesting.
Interested in the noise, Tobi finally moved from his spot on the couch and made his way to the window. Almost as graceful as a cat he leapt up onto the window sill to look out at the children passing by. At times he would bark softly as if trying to get the attention of those outside.
"Do you want to go too, Tobi?" Mitsu asked, patting the dog on the head.
The shiba gave a soft whine, placing a paw at the corner of the window. Since that morning the window had been closed, so there was no way he could let himself out this time.
"I guess its worth looking into." Neko stated as he finally pushed his way off the couch. A little bit of activity for the day couldn't hurt. It would be a good way to get some dinner as well. Moving toward the door he opened it up and watched curiously as the children and adults walked down the street dressed up for the event. "I don't know about dressing up, however, we will stick out like a sore thumb it seems." The masks were very interesting, most looked like they were shaped to look like dragon faces while others looked like ogres or demons. All colored brightly in reds, oranges, yellows, with a few cool colors mixed in.

At the suggestion of partying with a bunch of dragons, poke got up from her position on the floor. "Sounds interesting. I'm game." She stretched her muscles a bit and noticed the dog and cat looking outside. Following their gaze she saw the children running past in costume, and she had to step closer to get a better look. The colors and the variety were quite amazing
"If we got a costume though, we wouldn't stand out as much..." she wanted to wear one of the dragon looking ones...

"Looks like all the dragons are dressed up, but it shouldn't hurt if we got some masks as well. I bet there's a few different places were we can get our hands on one for the event," mused Blade as he headed on over towards Neko to look out the door as well.
Jasper went on and jumped from Riyo's lap to move on towards the door as well. He had seen the masks and such before so he wasn't too interested. However, he did recall Dirk and Kylar giving him some nice treats from the festival. Perhaps these people would get him some of those things as well.
Stepping outside now, the thief scanned the area while looking around for any sign of a stand or something that seemed to be selling or giving away the festival garb.

Moving further out the door Neko walked down the path from the house to look down the street. His eyes followed the trail of lights to their intended destination. Looked as though there were quite a lot of people already, it was hard to tell entirely since it was a good walk away. Looking back he waited for the others to join him so that he wasn't the only outsider to walk into this thing.
As soon as the door was freely open and not blocked, Tobi jumped from the window sill and trotted outside. He made his way down the path and took a seat right behind Neko, waiting for him to move.
Instead of heading outside right away, Mitsu stood behind Blade and waited for him to move first. She looked to Poke when she mentioned getting a costume, but would they find that at the festival? "Do you think a costume will be expensive?"

As poke was about to walk out the door, she heard mitsu's question and paused. "uh.....well...." She looked towards everyone else, wondering if they had any gold on them. Again, she had found herself lacking on the money department, having spent it all purchasing the horse.
"Well, mabye they're free? considering all the children have them..." she started walking to neko wondering if she would be right on this or not.
