I too am a christmas person, I love christmas radio stations and all that jazz. Wow, kita, just a week to celebrate with your family, when I was in high school I got 2 weeks. Now I have from the 12th of dec-jan 19th for my break. I am really lucky. Did you guys hear about the plane crash that hit a home in sd? Its really sad, I feel bad for the guy. sad I'm doing my sociology paper right now, due at midnight. So yeah...I am such a huge procastinator.

I love Christmas too. One of my favorite carols is Carols of the Bells. Its such a magical song. I love it. Do you guys have favorite carols?

Carol of the Bells is my favorite, too. My best friend gets to sing it ever year in the school choir. Kind of makes me wish I was still in that class confused
One of my biggest strengths lies within my friends. Thinking of them is all I need in order to motivate myself to do my best.

Welcome to Ravenclaw justamoose! Never heard of that carol, I sadly don't know the carols by name just by well sound. I used to be in my church's choir and I loved, we thee kings. For some reason that was my favorite.
So my finals are over as of yesterday! Yay! So I have nothing to do...schoolwise anyway, I get to read all the books I didn't have a chance to read and I get to play my video games (finish hp ooTP...stupid endless day, kingdom hearts 2..so close till the end! and guitar hero!) plus write amazing fan fiction and continue on my book.
I still have to look for work but that's okay, I will get one when I get one.
On another note, I've really sick with a bladder or UTI infection, I've been really weak and can't even move a muscle so I've been taking it easy. I have instead of a high temperature a low temp, last time I checked I was 95.7 degrees. So here's the hope that the antibiotics start doing their job, this is the time where I wish that we had magic, what I wouldn't do for a pepperup potion!

Hee hee. I think I'll stop there, though I could continue with Carol of the Bells. Oh, Paraphernalia, I love We Three Kings, too. All right, I should just admit it. I love all the Christmas Carols. My favorite has to be Silent Night, though, because I can sign it in ASL.
A low temperature? Oh my, we really need to find a way to get you some pepperup potion. Maybe if we could get lucky enough, we could get someone into the Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley. Lucky... Anyone have the instructions for how to make Felix Felicis? Wait a second. Merlin. We'd need to get the ingredients for that from Diagon Alley. I knew there was I reason I didn't have some lucky potion on hand.
Oh, and I love the pictures of Shimmer that you posted in the Great Hall, LHH. She looks so cute.

Wow, there are a lot of new people.
First of all, I'd like to apologize for not being around the past...um...forever?
4 months, I think. Maybe 5. :l I was getting really addicted to Gaia and logging on every day for over 3 hours, and my grades were dropping, and I wasn't getting enough sleep so one day, I just decided to quit.
...
And I forgot to tell everyone T__T
When I realized that, I wanted to log back on but I knew that if I did, I'd probably start playing again...
After about a month I kind of just forgot about Gaia.
Heh.
Anyways, I'm back and I think I've got my temporary obsession under taps.

I just want to wish everyone Happy Holidays and to say how really, really proud I am of the Ravenclaws! We went from ``````````````````````````````````````````````````111 (kitten on keyboard) last place in the House Cup standings to vying in a 3 way for the lead, thanks to all of you! I'll know the winner in a few days, as the math is being double checked, and the last minute points are being tallied.
I will say, having a kitten around this time is fun, and THE recipe for inefficiency as everything is a toy to her. FUN! But not very efficient.
Anyway, thanks for a wonderful year, and to those of you living with lots of snow - hope you have time to enjoy!

I think we're going to be 3rd, losing to Gryffindor by about 10 points and Hufflepuff's going to be first by about 20 points (from Gryffindor). That's my prediction based on Christmas events thus far.
I haven't actually counted though.
But who cares, y'know? Well I care, but it's CHRISTMAS for heaven's sake (no pun intended...?), so we should all just have fun, right?
Correction: I think the points are up? Gryffindor won by 5 points at 595, then Hufflepuff at 590, then us at 540 and Slytherin at 290.
Better luck next time? Out of curiosity, does anyone know how we faired in the last term (summer-fall?)
