There have been a lot of things dogging nice guys recently. That one is more about the guys who are not nice guys but "Nice Guys" proper noun status. Still, I think people just need to come out and say it. Animals wanna ******** dangerous, chance taking animals and then have caring ones around to take care of the young. This is why marriage should be dissolved as in institution. Let people ******** around, they want to. Why not?

Owwin There have been a lot of things dogging nice guys recently. That one is more about the guys who are not nice guys but "Nice Guys" proper noun status. Still, I think people just need to come out and say it. Animals wanna ******** dangerous, chance taking animals and then have caring ones around to take care of the young. This is why marriage should be dissolved as in institution. Let people ******** around, they want to. Why not? Most of that s**t is spot-on though. Nice guys put a lot of rather awkward pressure on girls.

Because by nature, humans are selfish and are less inclined to share something they need than share something they don't. Humans need love, it's a basic human need.
Marriage is selfishness as an accepted institution. It's cruelty, as humans are complex enough to love more than one other simultaneously, and without problems.
It's just selfishness. :/

If people weren't bound to the one relationship at a time thing guys would prolly not put such an emphasis on the "I love you forever and more than anybody else will" thing and maybe they wouldn't use relationships to validate their life. not wanting to be "Nice guys" @Haru- I kinda feel that way too.

It's just selfishness. :/ Idk. I like to think of marriage as more of an act of proclaiming your love for someone than a promise of committing to them for life. I think society needs a new view on it what with how many of them end in divorce. It should be less "I want to be with you all my life" and more "I want to share this point in my life with you."
Idk, I think more relationships would be successful if they were only for a predetermined period of time and both people knew it was temporary going into it. The problem most people have with love is that it's hard to let go.

They need to accept that change is the only constant, and fully appreciate the time they have instead of trying desperately to drag it on. The desire to have it last forever is what leads to the heartbreak they b***h about. I think relationships should not be called romantic, but rather categories like, a procreation relationship, which is an agreement to stick together to bear and raise a healthy stable child, lust relationships for when people find each other physically attractive, and friendships. Boom. Covers all of your social needs.

Too bad we'll never get to see such a thing work. :/ I really could see that working out well. The concept of monogamy is too ingrained into the human mind.
Also, marriage shouldn't be what it is. It really just is a proclamation of your love, and more or less a valid excuse for living together and having kids.
