Hello all, I have returned from my vacation all crispy and tired. I fear I have missed days of birth.

I saw the first episode of Pokemon Black and White on youtube. Why did a starter pokemon: Snivey have such high level moves? Seriously that tornado has got to be at least a 10th level move.
edit: I made my own guild called| Starwars: Post 66. If anyone wants to write some fanfiction rp about starwars between Episode III and Episode IV, then come and join. Anyone from here is welcome.

I found that with the anime, they've been doing that ever since day one with new-ish Pokemon knowing high-level moves. Remember how Ash's Charmander always knew Flamethrower and such? I've noticed they've been doing it a lot more with the newer seasons too. Like in DP Dawn's Piplup pretty much started out with Bubblebeam.
I'd love to come and join you, Hex, but I don't know diddly squat about Star Wars. D:

They pretty much had no choice in the anime, after all it wouldn't be very exciting to watch if all of the pokemon had the basic move sets their levels would allow. I never took the anime at game value because all sorts of things are out of place for the purpose of balance in the show, especially the first season. Like water gun constantly being used to counter flame thrower in the show suggesting they are about the same in power or fire spin being a really powerful huge tornado of fire and considered Vulpix's ultimate move. Whenever watching the anime I simply try to forget that there is a game of the same name and view it purely on it's entertainment value. That being said I've been watching the subbed black and white episodes since it came out and I've got to say I really like this particular season. I think this season is funny as hell, and I'm rather liking the fact that team rocket is actually competent and have yet to blast off in 25 episodes.
