They've been around since the 70's. The members are Paul Stanley, Peter Chris, Ace Freheley, Gene Simmons.
They've managed to for the most part stick together while avoiding drugs and alcoholism all together. They've had fight's before but every band does. They've split up and rejoined many many many times and are one of the most succsesful bands of all time.
Churches abolished their music in the late 70's and early 80's even though the men themselves are christian and their's nothing wrong with most of their songs. They were the first SHOCK rock band, dressed up in makeup and filled with pyotechnic wonder and special effects galore.
They have had several world tours with one of the latest in Australia (KISS Symphony.) Where they teamed up with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and became the first rock band to play with a professional Orchestra. They've sold hundred's of records world wide and have tons of loyal fans.
Despite all that they've accomplished......they still have yet to be entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame......Metalica was entered before them......and Metalica isn't as good.....and hasn't acomplished as much.
