Yachiru wasn't surprised to see Rin stop running and go on the attack this time. However, what was surprising was that he had Shinigami level strength. Especially Lieutenant level. A wide grin formed on her face as she leaped into the air, she swung her still sheathed weapon towards Rin's head. As she did, she made sure to jump over the flames.

Yachiru was a bit surprised that Rin caught her blade. The only person she had seen doing something like that was Kenpachi, though he caught unsheathed swords. However, she still kept her playful grin as she was thrown towards a nearby wall. Her feet slid across the air as if it was ground as she stopped herself. Looking up, she saw a flurry of fire slashes coming her way. "Wow Rinny," she said as she jumped back so she could land on the building behind her. As she did this, tried to dodge the fire coming her way. However, one of the attack went straight for her so she tried to deflect it with a swing of her Zanpakuto. Unfortunately, she wasn't strong enough to completly deflect it and her Zanpakuto was knocked out of her hand. Just as it did, fire began to stream towards Yachiru. Jumping into the air, Yachiru caught her Zanpakuto, swinging it to the ground. As she did, she covered herself in a pink Reiatsu so that her attack was super charged. In an attempt to stop the fire, she hit the ground with enough force to make a small crater. She wasn't really trying to attack Rin. That was something Kenpachi would have done. Instead, she thought this was just a game Rin was playing with her.

Kenpachi was a bit surprised at Noctis's fighting still. He seemed more defensive then offensive. It seemed that Kenpachi was throwing the most attacks. "Good," Kenpachi said when Noctis blocked the attack. "You're actually landing attacks." Kenpachi wasn't able to block the attack fast enough so he instead was injured by the incoming strike. He took a few steps backwards to give him room this time as Kenpachi prepared for his next attack. However, his attention was drawn when he felt a fight going on nearby. He immediately knew who it was. However, he ignored it for now and turned to Noctis. "Maybe you are one of the few," he said as he looked at the wounds on his body. "That I can actually battle at full strength." He pointed to his eye patch with his thumb as he formed a cocky smirk. That was the only thing that kept his power in check. However, it was too soon to pull out that yet as he swung his weapon around. Kenpachi then launched at Noctis with another slash to Noctis's chest.

Yachiru was surprised to see Rin suddenly disappear. The only people she had ever seen do that were Arrancar and Shinigami. "Ohh," she said, suddenly disappearing as well. To someone from the 13 Court Guard Squads, they'd know exactly what she was using. She reappeared at the edge of the building, sitting on it behind Rin. However, she wasn't looking at him. Instead, she had turned her attention back to the fight with Kenpachi. "Kenny's still fighting," she said, forgetting Rin was even there.

From the shadows the creature prowled, it's prey just ahead. It stalked them, following them through the city, using the roads none else could see. None else but it's own kind.. It's twin red eyes had watched them, a creature nearer to his own, and the holy one. It'd killed and consumed wanderers out here, but never like these. When it was spotted, it shut it's glowing eyes, and disappeared, appearing from a broken building, the sun showing the beast for what it was.
A wolf, borne of pure shadow, it's teeth bared in fury at the pair, hunger in it's unearthly red eyes. It pointed it's nose to they sky and let out a dark howl that chilled the souls of those who heard it, sounding like the call of Cerberus himself, before disappearing into the shadows once more.

"Life is all about balance...There can be no darkness without light."

Tari crossed her arms, taking in what Dimitri told her. Kidnappers, experimentation, what kind of place had she thrown herself into? She opened her mouth to ask a few more questions when he told her that they were being watched. It didn't take a mintue to find out by what as the shadow wolf announced it's hunt was beginning. Feeling her body tingle as the magic raced through it, she looked around, her hand hovering over Zanna.
"I take it that wasn't one of Shinra?"

"So, if that's right...why am I so wrong?"

From behind it's prey, it lunged, aiming for the smaller one first. The female of the two. It sensed her power, unstable, wild. She was the more dangerous, despite the males holy proclivities, but the quick tear of the throat it had planned would end that soon.

It missed the attack, the male interrupting with that damned sword, the blade of the magic slicing cleanly through the wolf thing's throat, sending it sprawling onto it's side, the beast laying still...for a moment. It rose, shaking it's head, glaring at the light one. It's throat hurt, but only from the magic, the blade having done nothing. Well, that wasn't true, the wolf was upset now. It snarled, backing up.

"Life is all about balance...There can be no darkness without light."

The female closed her eyes, her hands meeting as she focuses, magic racing through her. She trused Dimitri to keep her alive, which took her mind off the wolf. Her mouth moved, making no sound, but reciting the incantation that made it easier for her to focus her ancestors magic.
" and rend my enemies, oh blades of the wind!" She finished, the wind kicking up around her, sending razor sharp winds flying at the shadow, which passed through the beast with ease, the creature not even noticing.

"So, if that's right...why am I so wrong?"
