Bakura, however, didn't hand it to her. He had turned a deep shade of scarlet upon seeing her exposed like that. He dropped the bowl, splattering the food inside, and turned, bolting from the room and out of the hut.

Rei couldent help but chuckle. It was quiet funny. Guess he had never seen a women before. She wasent that hungery anyways. Shewent back to feeding kek and burping femi.

Bakura's mother shouted after the child as he fled, but didn't make much of an effort to go after him. To Rei, she called, "Is everything all right in there? What happened?"

"Yes everything is ok. I apologige he saw me feeding my children." rei said. femi let out a small burp and cooed tiredly.

"Ah. well, that makes sense, I guess." Bakura's mother said with a slight 'humph'. "Say, are you married? Betrothed?"

"yes...but my husband is gone...." she said. After feeding kek she burped him then fixed her dress. She stood and exitedthe room "there is a slight mess in there. he droped the bowl of food."

"I'll have him clean it up when he gets back." The woman said, with a wave of her hand, then got back to the topic she had in mind. "My nephew, Bari... his wife is 'gone' as well. He's about your age, I guess. If you're interested, you could marry him. It isn't a good idea for a woman to be on her own. He has some land."

"If you want to. As long as I manage to get some food in that kid, I don't worry too much. He's a good son, you know?" The woman had gone back to her mending. Bakura had gone to the edge of the village, sitting down on the sandy ground and hugging his knees to his chest. He was still blushing something awful, unable to get the mental image of that lady out of his head. It wasn't as though he hadn't seen another naked woman before. His mother would take him to bathe with the other women and children when they were at a big enough pool. But something about Rei made him feel embarrassed, and... well, the five-year-old couldn't explain his other sensation.

Walked out and around the village she soon found bakura. She knelt down beside him. "Hey bakura...I noticed you dident finish your meal...would you like to get somthing else to eat?" she asked softly knowing the young child was embarrased by his red face.

Bakura instantly buries his face in his knees, shaking his head violently without looking up at Rei.

Rei just smiled. she took a few coins from her dress. she placed them in his hand "Well them you should by yourself somthin. I'll just been looking around if you need me." she said walking off.

Bakura looked curiously at the coins, then up at Rei as she walked away. He didn't have any pockets so he clenched his little fist around the money before getting up and running after her. He stayed a few paces behind Rei, sucking on his knuckle.

Rei looked over the small market they had in town. She stoped at a man who was selling diffrent chunks of roasted meat on stick. She bought two handing him the coins. When he handed her the sticks on meat the thanked him and slowly walking away. Her walk was slow giving bakura a chance to buy his own meat then follow.

Bakura hesitated, then decided to do so as well, because he hadn't finished his meal. He promised himself that he would give his father the remainder of the money when he came back from the valley of the kings. That was where most of the robbers went during the day, to try and get into new tombs before others could. Taking his single stick, he jogged and caught up with Rei. He grabbed onto her skirt, clinging to her like a shy child-- which was exactly what he was.
