Maddy entered the kitchen, intent on getting a Pepsi. She had just woken up. Removing the Green Orb from her room did wonders for her sleep cycle.
"Hey." She said to Dark, trying not to look at him.

"Oh, hey." Dark says before taking a large bite of an apple. "How ya feeling?"

Maddy opened the fridge and took out a Pepsi.
"Much better. The pain in my eye has lessened a lot."
She opened the can and took a sip.
"I'm kinda afraid to take the patch off. I dunno if I can still see."

Maddy sat down on the counter.
"Do you think I should take off the patch?" She asked him as she rubbed at her eye patch.
"I have to find out eventually..."

"Maybe you should let it heal for another few days first." He makes himself a coffee. "You said you saw a doctor, right?"

"Yeah. We have a few doctors in the medical bay downstairs." Maddy told him, itching at her eye.
She jumped to her feet. Clearly she was feeling better today.
"Maybe we should do some training today."

"We could do some training." He shrugs. His Pokemon were so close to evolving he wanted to do as much training as possible.

"We could have another battle." She suggested, smirking at him.
"I have no problem with kicking your a** again."
Maddy finished her can of Pepsi and tossed it out, ready to leave.

"Well if you want, I wont lose this time." He crosses his arms and looks at her. "We'd need a ref though."

Maddy took her TADS off and sent a few messages.
"I'll see what I can do."
She put her TADS away in her pocket.
"What do you want to do in the mean time?"

With that, she left the kitchen and went outside to wait for him on the beach.

Maddy smiled up at the stars twinkling in the sky.
"Yeah, it's really nice out. Chilly again, though."
She clasped her hands together as she walked ahead. It was pretty quiet tonight.
