I say we kick Fox out of the guild.
He's just too good to be here. We are not worthy.

I don't play MMOs, because there has never been any time in my life where I've had continuous personal access to a broadband internet connection.

I used to think buying RP was a terrible ripoff. Then I got a job and realized that it's a lot cheaper to spend 10-20$ a month on League then it is to grind for like 10 hours for "free". I make as much as I spend on League in like an hour.
Now, I'll still play, and have IP to get champs for free and extras or whatever, but the point is now I don't have to "work" towards a new champ. I can just have it on release day and not have to waste a bunch of time to get it. I can buy it and decide to not play too much League, and say only play 3 hours instead of 10.
If you don't have a real job though then yeah it seems like a terrible unfair mess of a conspiracy. lol

I havent downloaded DOTA 2 yet, and not sure if i will. I played the first Dota a fair bit and simply found League of Legends to be more appealing. Looking at footage, i feel League is more of what i want out of MOBA experience, and though i would love to play both, there just isnt the time for two games with hour long matches.
I really need to back into tho, my brother was up at platinum, but me and him both took a break at the start of season 3. A few of our buddies are still up there between the gold and plat area and its awesome to watch those matches.

I am pretty fortunate to own the big three platforms, 360, PS3 and PC. But when you work out in the mining camps you do tend to bring in a good hand full of cash.
Thankfully i didnt work the mines, i was ground support for a helicopter Company, but good pay all the same. Allowed me to avoid my consoles and gaming library.
Sometimes i look at the bookcase of games and start counting up the dollars i have spend on games i haven't even completed and...its kind scary how much money is ..in a sense wasted.
Steam Sales...
Like seriously, "******** steam". great sales, so u buy a game or two or three. with full knowledge u will never get to play it.

LoL felt kinda choppy to me, and I enjoy a lot of the increased complexity found in DOTA 2. I feel like, in their effort to streamline, Riot also oversimplified the game somewhat.
I haven't played DOTA 2 in like a year or more though.

The Darth Vizzle LoL felt kinda choppy to me, and I enjoy a lot of the increased complexity found in DOTA 2. I feel like, in their effort to streamline, Riot also oversimplified the game somewhat. I haven't played DOTA 2 in like a year or more though. I wish i had played DOTA 2, so i could make a true comparison. But i do see where your coming from, though i would say the simplified model is actually what makes it so appealing for the larger audience its aiming for and myself. However i do feel League is more complex then people tend to give it credit for, as it masks the complexities quite well. Alot of people tend to dismiss league as "simple" without actually taking part in ranked play, which compared to normals...is a whole different game. I can't play normal games anymore, they don't have the structure i have come to adore.
