Luna Thorn ~

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Luna fought hard, but she was finding the twins scythe to be quite frustrating, as it seemed to make every type of attack she fired disappear. She was getting angry and her eyes glowed a fierce red. What made her even more angry was the fact that Saerin did not seem to be doing anything to help. All he did was stand there and watch, seemingly too shocked to move, attack, or help. It pissed her off. And the twins kept advancing - towards him, yet he didn't move. She was beginning to feel a little hopeless more than angry and her eyes were a mixture of red and black. By the time that the twins finally reached Saerin, she was tearing up slightly, cursing, and screaming. Her eyes had turned pitch black as she watched in horror at the scene that unfolded.

She watched silently as Saerin was torn to pieces, not able to do a thing about it. She was angry at him for being an idiot, but she felt a heart wrenching pain that just made her want to double over and die right there. She knew she couldn't though, her life wasn't over yet... and it wouldn't end like this. She was crying, and she screamed in pain, holding her stomach gently and swearing under her breath, saying, I swear I'll live Saerin. I swear. She shot herself up into the air just then will a forceful blast of air, dodging the artificials' attacks just in time. Her eyes were a deep shade of pitch black despite the anger she felt, as the pain and sadness was much more severe.

She growled and looked down at the artificials with eyes full of murder, grunting and sending down a wall of flames and electrical energy that would engulf every single one of them, and the area surrounding them. There was no escape. And she was determined to keep this attack up. There was no way in hell she was going to die now. She wasn't ready to die, it wasn't her time. She was feeling drained from her attack, but she had the motivation and the will to keep it up this time. Nothing could stop her.

~~I'll follow you anywhere~~

In the middle of jumping from one branch to the next, Gerzen found his momentum suddenly gone. Beginning to fall the long way back down to the ground, his hand quickly grasped onto anything close at hand. A shout from Disc below reassured him, and he activated his wings. Taking to the air, Gerzen flew down to where he was hovering above Disc. His eyes misted over as he saw his master struggling against the DJ.

"Cirus...I don't want to hurt you..." Gerzen said his voice heavy with sorrow.

It cannot be helped, child. You must remove him from the WF's control. You know what must be done. said the elven spirit.

Gerzen's eyes widened at the thought of killing his master-the very thought causing him to shake. He touched down beside Disc.

Hurry and scratch his record, Gerzen! Disc cried as the ringmaster became harder and harder to control.

"I...I can't..." Gerzen stuttered as he began backing away.

It can't be helped...

Suddenly, Gerzen's eyes turned completely pink save for a thin wavering rim of green around the pupil. Straightening up, the elf walked up to Cirus and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Cirus...I'm sorry..."

Pulling the ringmaster into one final embrace, the elven spirit released an ancient power. The symbols on Gerzen's chest began glowing as an unnatural wind began to stir the air around master and pupil. The ground began to bubble before rupturing to allow silver trees to rise all around the pair. Weaving together, they encased Cirus and Gerzen in an eternal tomb.

Rose watched as Aaron flew away on some blue disc. The Controlled and their weird little devices, Rose thought to herself as she absorbed a few more blasts of energy in case she needed them later. . . or rather now. She watched as a group of artificials approached her and she sensed that a few were coming around the train from behind her. She pressed her back to the side of the train so she wouldn’t have to worry about anyone sneaking up from behind her, just the sides and the front. Rose glanced at the two soldiers that she'd sent the energy at earlier and saw that they were lying on the ground, not moving. Dead or just their brains fried to ash, she couldn't tell from this distance.

She connected with the minds of the three soldiers in front of her and sent the energy to their brains as well and watched as they fell to the ground with a small twinge of regret. They're brains have simply been tampered with; I can tell it when I connect with them. It's not their fault that they are this way, she thought sadly as she tilted her head to the side and concentrated on the exact location of where the ones behind her were at. It'd be nice ifI could keep doing this, Rose thought bitterly to herself. But, unfortunately for me, the energy that I keep taking is starting to affect me a little, she thought as she noticed the dull ache that was running throughout her body. It wasn't strong enough to do any damage yet, but she was afraid of what it might do if she absorbed anymore of it. While she'd taken care of the ones in front of her, she still could tell that there were about two or three more still behind her, and that they had almost reached her. Think Rose, think. What can you do? You're not really good with your sword all that much, but you have your mind, fight with it! Rose's inner self seemed to say to her. But fight how? She'd never been a fighter, never thought of ways to use her ability to harm people with before. She'd heard that some telepathics could plant thoughts in the heads of others and cause them to do things that they never would've done otherwise and Rose decided that she'd give that a try and see if it worked.

She reached into the minds of two of the soldiers and recalled the sound and tone of voice that Aaron had and put the thought of his voice into their heads, whispering things into each one and pretending to be Aaron speaking to them. She's in the woods, she ran into the woods. She's going too far, stop her! Run after her, and don't stop searching until you've found her. Do not come back until you've killed the girl. Rose said over and over till the command stuck and she stopped, pulling away from the minds of the soldiers with an exhausted sigh, but she was glad when she heard the footsteps of the soldiers running towards the woods and away from her. Searching around her again, she realized that there were no more soldiers coming for her anymore and that she'd gotten rid of them one way or another.

She started walking in the direction of those she knew. As she did she heard Zero in her head and she took a moment before she answered him, mainly noticing that left arm just hung limply at her side and that her body was still giving a painful ache every now and then from the energy she'd acquired. At last she said back, Let's just say I've been better. You're doing alright I hope? Rose asked Zero as she wandered in his direction before she suddenly heard Dark. Noticing that he was trying to speak to the both of them, she made it to where Zero could hear the message as well. What he'd said had saddened her greatly. I'll miss you, she said to him, unknowing of what else to say, but sending what she thought along with the message. A few minutes later, she could no longer feel the essence that was Dark's, it was something that she'd grown so accustomed to and to have it gone and not felt anymore was like a pain in its own right. Sad and angry tears started to come to her eyes but she pushed them away and decided to stick with feeling nothing except for focusing on the battle that was at hand. Zero, I'm coming to where you're at. I'll be there in a bit, she said to him as she turned in the general direction of where she sensed he was at.

Chela wasn't going to get very far. Her leg was really starting to hinder her. As she ran, she felt something off, and paused to look up at the trees, then down at the forest floor. Not ten seconds later, roots started springing up, with intent to impale her. Chela jumped up, and bounced from tree to tree, but she eventually had to come back down to the ground. She avoided one branch, only to have another root stab her in the calf. She bit her tounge, not making any noise, and cutting the edge off. Chela quickly grabbed the root and pulled it out of her leg, wincing slightly. A blast of power went past her, and she saw more artificials closing in on her.

Chela was a bit angry, and only more so when a vine wrapped around her foot, pulling her to her knees. Another one stabed her arm, then her shoulder, causing a sering pain. With everything around, me, I cannot fight at a distance. I need to get closer....but I can't move with these vines!!!! Alright now!! That means I get to play right??? Just help me out!!! ...Of course..but you need to remember what makes you angry!! Chela sighed, and felt another root wrap around her wrist, and yank her down more. She closed her eyes and growled. Being pushed around, over powered, and defeated were not things that got on her good side. I can't stand not being in control! To let others hsave the upper hand...to be at the receiving end of an attack?!?! To be defeated?!?! No! I wont die here, not in this place.....

Chela looked up, and was face to face with a sword. She chuckled, and her eyes glowed. With a quick movment of her other wrist, her ankle and wrist were free. She threw her dagger, and impaled an artificial right in the chest, directly where the heart would be. She took in a deep breasth, and choughed, spitting out a small amount of blood. Good, so she hadn't been struck anywhere atal. But with all the wounds, the bleeding could be fatal.....She stood up, and the root in her shoulder and arm slide out painfully. In the back of her mind, she winced, but she looked calm on the outside. Her whip was losely wrapped around her wrist, and she shook it out, wrapping around an artificial's neck, and pulling. His neck snapped, and he dropped the sword he was holding. She took some of his engery, and felt it run into her. She did this twice more, now having enough energy to get away. Chela ran, dodging a few vines, and finally running up a tree. As she jumped from treetop to treetop, she felt her leg stffening. The pain was starting to affect it, as a searing pain entered her mind. Chela touchd down on the ground outisde the "forest", and ran.

Her leg was siffening rapidly, making running difficult, but managable. Then she felt her hroat constrict, trying to close up. She shook, her head, and noticed it. The powder. It was still on her!!! Sliding down against a wall, Chela pulled her knees against her, resting her chin on them. Did everyone else die?? Where are they? Did they get to the WF? Rose? Can you hear me? Don't....don't be dead. Please? she thought, and started dressing her leg, putting pressure on it to stop the bleeding. It would take some time to get it to a stable condition. Until then, she would see if Rose was alive by waiting for an answer, and think about some others, preparing herself to eventually hear news of deaths. Some were going to die, some people had to. It was part of life, of war, and Chela was no stranger to its cruel ways. But he silently prayed, hoped very lightly everyone had an honorable death.

Lexus remained glaring at WF though her eyes weren't exactly on him, listening to his chatter just made her more annoyed. "all this crap of mastery, you make yourself sound like a god...your nothing of the sort, you're a sad, pathetic man who had nothing to do because people got bored of you, just like i'm getting bored with your speech" she grumbled showing her fangs, Lexus suddenly grunted as she felt the gust of strong wind slam into her, it pushed her back but she slammed her black katana into the floor, stopping herself hitting the wall. Angel however felt the impact and didn't have the strength to grip onto the floor, in her large lycan form she was slammed against the wall with the fighters who were hit by the wave as well. As she hit the wall she let out a cry of pain and sank to the floor, her lycan form fading and leaving her in her human form. Lexus lifted her head and growled, she could feel the WF's energy and suddenly slashed her katana up from the floor, sending a strong wave towards him, she ran in behind it to try and get close.

"But call me Zero please."

[Post Number 7]

"Damian!" Zero suddenly felt weak, he had no been able to protect a comrade, now he heard Dark's message through his mind. "No..." Zero had to move or die along with his friends. He shifted to te side, pivoted, slashing through more controlled ranks and was set to met Shoes in one final clash. He thought about it, the force would break, or completely tear his jaw and/or head from his body. Instead he continually manuvered at his highest speed and slash close to Shoes' spine, disabling him for a good while, that was good. Goodbye friend, sorry I wasn't around to save you this time... Zero sighed and looked back at the horde then spoke to Rose once more. No problem, I'm almost done here anyway, eh, maybe a little bit of a problem seeing as one of my arms is kind of...gone. Zero could handle the last little bit alone, he'd done so before in the forest and in the deep part of the arena. "Come on, I'll kill every last one of you!" Despite the bloodlust in Zero's dark eyes, a sorrow lurked at the loss of one of his closest friends. He was raging to tear them apart, his remaining hand twitched as this was all he could do for the moment.

As Rose was wating for word from Zero, Chela's voice suddenly entered her head. She could tell that the girl had said a little bit before she'd said her name, which was the point in when Rose picked up on her thoughts. She went back to see what else was said and was able too discern the beginning of the thought. Not dead Chela, hurt, but not dead yet, she said at first to her. The question that she didn't know was that did the one group get to the WF yet? It was something that she had not been paying attention to. Looking around her for a moment and making sure that there was no one right around her that could attack her, she closed her eyes and concentrated on where the group that would attack the WF was at. She was a bit nervous to close her eyes in the middle of battle for fear of being stabbed while doing so, but she forced herself to keep her eyes shut as she saw through one of the groups eyes at what was happening. One person a Timid? Was that his name? Regardless, he was attacking the group of them. Keeping them busy, weakening them, stalling? They've gotten through him. They're advancing towards the WF. Rose came back to herself and swayed in place for a moment. She hated doing something like that and even when she saw through someone's eyes in a sense, it was still more of just the mental image's of their minds. All she got were blurry images and very vague details, but she was sure that she'd gotten what she gathered right. She relayed what she found out to Chela saying, They're in the room the WF is at, but they've only now just begun to fight him. They were being held up by some man for awhile but they've taken care of him for the moment. She thought back on the other questions that she'd asked. As for people that have died, I'm sure a great number of them had. The only one that I know of that has died is Dark and a girl named Jupiter, Rose said quietly as she kept walking in the direction of Zero and then she'd find where Chela was. She was a little further away from Zero was all that she could tell at the moment. I'll meet up with you soon.

A few moments later she heard Zero's voice and what he said shocked her slightly. Gone? Please be careful Zero, she said as she started jogging in his direction now. She would've run, but her energy level was almost depleated compeltely and she could barely handle going this fast as it was without falling to the ground. She was still a little distance away, but she kept up her pace regardless. This is one hell of a battle, huh? she said, with a sad tone to her voice as she kept out of sight from a few soldiers when running by them.

‘If souls had a price, I would steal yours’

The tension in the atmosphere seemed to build with every passing second. Kimi’s eyes narrowed at the WF as he spoke of his power and how he had nearly completed his goals. She wanted to laugh in his face and basically tell him that no way in hell would he ever be able to complete such things as the creating true life. Does anyone even know what a true life creations are or what they look like?
The only thing that was holding Kimi back at was the fact she knew she would not stand a chance against such a being as the man before them now.

At one point Kimi really wanted to wipe the smirk of his face she hated it more then anything else, and was pretty amazed at how one smug old geezer could induce such a feeling within her “Arrogant son of a b***h” She whispered in a sharp growl. She lowered her body, which trembled with adrenaline. Soon she would have no control and her huge sandy wolf form would burst forth. Though that would only endanger her life more.

The WF waved only one hand in a half hearted movement, but with that simple task a powerful gust of wind was sent at those who came to take him down. The force easily blasted Kimi’s small human frame across the room along with other Is rebels. She grimaced as her back made contact with the stone wall, and could feel warm sticky liquid seep down her spin, and it hurt like hell. Yet she knew this was only the beginning of the pain to come.

Shin looked at both of them and cracked his neck."Well guys its been fun but i think its better if i went on by myself i wish you the best of luck and i hope we meet again later" he said.He made his wings open up wide they flapped as he lifted into the air and then he flew off in front of them going to where ever this place lead him to.He looked around not seeing much but hoping something would show him where to go he really had no idea of what to do here but he would just keep flying.

With the three of them neering the huge hole that lead to the castle, Numon stoped just at the edge of the gorge. Looking left and right from his shoulder, Numon saw no horizontal exit, but more than likely a vertical one. "Alright Alyssin, I'm guessing that Shin's tired. I should be able to carry you, but not very fast...trust me. Added weight just slows me down," he laughed while looking at Alyssin. Seeing as though his comment wasn't getting them any closer to the castle, Numon spread his wings far out from his back. "All aboard, Next stop...Willbe castle," Numons voiced echo'd through the hole. Before taking off though, Numon looked over at Shin who staited that he was going to fly solo. Hearing this made him a bit sad, but nothing he couldn't get over. "God speed friend, Survive to fight another day," Numon said saluting Shin. Parting one last time, Numon grabbed Alyssin and flew strait up the shaft and headed toward Willbe.

(Final Post for Damian)User Image
Damian still had some life left in him, and with that last bit of life Damian will need to pass his message onto Zero.
"Wait!" Damian called out in a weak tone. In the space between his next sentences Damian is heavily breathing. "I need you to give a message to a girl who can shape shift... Her name's Jupitor." Damian added between a breath. After saying that, Damian reached in his pocket with his free arm and pulled out a card with a crinkled paper on both sides. He had unsealed the paper and set the card aside, he then grabbed the paper which was on his chest and extended his arm out to Zero. "This paper has a message for her. Make sure to give it to her, I will haunt you til' you die if you don't give it to her." Damian said with a little humor. Once Zero took the paper in hand his arm limped like dead weight at his side.

This is what's writen on the paper.

Jupiter, you know about Dimitri? Your great great grandmother?

Five hundred years ago we met at the side walk after I had finished with my tournament match, my leg was wounded so she helped me. Because she was an earth elemental she was able to pull the dirt and impuraties from my wound. We had spent the rest of the day like we were friends, I believe I had liked her so much that I wanted her to be a Was, like me, but for other reasons I thought. When the night came I betrayed her because she didn't want to be a Was. She had called me a monster and ran off with tears leaving her eyes. I didn't get another chance to meet her because of a strange glow which shrouded the whole town and me. I had disappeared from the face of the earth and had slept until now. I only realize now that she was the only friend I had, and now I die lonely because of the poor choice I made.

If you are reading this Jupiter, it means that I've died in battle. All I'm really saying is that I was happy to know that you were her grand daughter and that I could repay what I did even though I never showed it. Keep your friends close and spent each day like it's the end, that's my piece of advice to you.

Damian couldn't live a few moments longer after Zero finished. He looked up at the sky as the color faded from his eyes. The thoughts which are running through his mind are wondering how he'd look if he is ever reborn. Someone more emotional at the same time mysterious, you know, like his emotions come out of seemly no where. A person with an odd hair color and eye color that has a power which is totally different than the color of his hair and eyes. Damian had pictured this figure in his head as his heart slowly stopped and his body began to feel cold. Damian dies about the time he has the picture of the individual in head.

I am being careful, can't you tell? He chuckled mentally and cut connection so he could focus. He still had his sword in his mouth so he could fight, he took the letter from Damian and nodded. "Rest easy Damian, you've earned it..." Suddenly sounds of metal clashing filled the air as it was soon turned in to a fine red mist from Zero's berserking rage. He just had to hold out until Rose came, then he could rest too.

In the throne room with the WF, Aideen actually started clapping. "So, this is what was goin' on eh, you are so pathetic." Aideen laughed as she stood there, talking to both sides seemingly. "But if you loss the we'll all die for sure, I guess I'll lend a hand too." She wasn't here for the WF's "great" attack, but she was certain it wasn't so. It all came down to this one fight with an old man to see how willble would turn out, no biggie, just the fate of the world and all.

((Sorry! School and work have been harsh these first couple of weeks. sweatdrop ))
Alissyn smiled as Numon flew. "You know," she said, "I've always been a fan of flight, not ever being able to achieve it myself. I've always sort of wondered what it's like to take flight on my own. But, alas, I fear the end for us all is nearing." She looked down to see Enyo running, keeping up with them. "When I'm on Enyo's back, it's close to this," she said, still smiling. "But the lift is what gives it that one of a kind feeling."
Enyo watched carefully how the dragon-being was flying and where he was flying to. Forgive me for not being an eagle, she thought laughing a little in Alissyn's head.
Fear not, she thought as she patted the back of Numon's neck, Our new dragon friend can take me flying, if we survive.

Miri had to hold on to an IS Rebel to successfully teleport; even the magical transport system did not apply to her without outside help. That fact hurt Miri's ego more than she could have predicted. She sought complete independence to a point where she was foolishly stubborn. She remained relatively out of harm's way, both out of laziness and selfishness, protected by capable IS Rebels.

At the sound of the WF's voice, her head snapped over to the old man delivering a heinous speech about his accomplishments. He reminded Miri of a self-obsessed loser. Miri watched as the IS Rebels surrounding her flew through the air, leaving only Miri standing there. I suspect he never considered miracles like me.. Miri didn't even feel the magical wind. Her eyes narrowed at the old man as she recklessly ran headlong at what she perceived as an unrealized frailty.

{@Angel: Honestly, your post is a paragraph of excuses. Realism in reaction is what you should strive for when we need story progression. I really don't mean to offend. I think you can learn from this now. I hope it helps in this and future RPs. 3nodding }

WF

All the WF did in response to his attack and the approaching counters was laugh. They were obviously amusing him and surprised him little. Before the attackers could get too close, the WF raised an outstretched arm just a little. In response, the stone floor near the WF erupted in a number of magically manipulated stone stakes that reached for the oncoming attackers with pointed tips. The attack would intercept Lexus's wave and try to impale her and Miri before continuing back to stake all those coming or still against the wall.
