She reached up and took at that piece of meat too, also putting that one into her mouth. She hummed happily and her two tails waved back and forth. It was good meat.
Lin had to laugh at that, even though it was sad to know but it made sense.
"Fair enough," she replied with a grin.

When they arrived in the dining room, Elrohir, Ahren, Arahad and Kelirahc were already present and chatting amongst themselves.
"Morning," Elrohir greeted them. "All set?"
In the kitchen, the food was ready, and Haradhel grabbed the pot and headed towards the dining room.
"Off we go for breakfast," Leyenda grinned, putting the remainder of Amalirahc's meat into a small bowl. She plucked him off the stool and set him on the floor. "Come on, both of you, time to eat."
She motioned towards the dining room.

Lin nodded, "Yes, everything is packed and set... and where did Miyuki go?"
She thought Miyuki would have headed into the dining room, but apparently that wasn't the case.
"Brekky!" Miyuki grinned following after Leyenda.
It smelled very yummy.

"Umm ..."
Earendil looked up as Haradhel entered the room, followed by Leyenda and Amalirahc, and finally Miyuki.
"There she is," he grinned.

"Mummi! E-dil!" Miyuki ran up to the pair, "Brekky!"
Lin chuckled at that, she should have known that Miyuki would go straight for the source of the food instead of to the dining room.
"So it is, let's sit down okay?"
"Kay!"

Earendil chuckled and pat Miyuki gently on the head before following her over to one of the tables. He helped Miyuki onto the bench as Haradhel and Leyenda served the food together, then sat down next to her.
"Looking forward to returning home, Lin?" Arahad asked as they began eating. "You're spending quite a time away from home now."

Lin chuckled at that, it was true. She had spent so much time away from home now, it was a wonder why she hadn't tried to find a place yet to settle down into.
"It'll be good to be home and see how everyone is doing," Lin admitted, "I'm so use to being away though, so the adjustment isn't as big."
She had to have had at least two or three rooms she was use to by now.

Arahad grinned. "I can't imagine spending so much time away from home," he chuckled, "but that's me. Everyone is different."
"I don't mind traveling," Ahren spoke up, "though I'm not sure how Shiara would feel about that."

Lin chuckled, "You have to remember though I've been coming here and going there ever since I was little. I'm very much use to this."
Considering she had spent more than half of her life in this world it was kind of scary in an impressive sort of way.

"That's true," Arahad grinned. "You've been going back and forth since ... well, was I even born then?" He laughed. "As long as I can remember anyways."
"A long time all right," Ahren grinned. "Just about as long as I can remember too."
Earendil chuckled. "Well, it seems it goes the same for most of us, then."

"Before you were born," Lin supplied to both men, "That's how long I've been coming to Haven."
Which was really weird to think the two men whom she could now relate to in terms of mentality and age, but at the same time she had seen both them as children.

Leyenda was impressed. "You really have been coming here for a long time," she murmured. "I've always known about the time difference between our worlds, but I didn't realize it was so great - that you've been visiting here that long and you're still so young."

Lin chuckled at that, "It can be a bit strange at times. Some visits, it's like I never change at all, I'm always a little child running around and then suddenly on the next visit I can be the same age as someone else growing up."
So really in a way she grew up with several different people.

"That's got to be strange," Arahad chuckled.
"Well, I would imagine it's something like the first time I met you, Lin, you were human, and the next time you had wings," Leyenda added.
Earendil grimaced. "That was frightening."

"That had been really unexpected..."
Lin couldn't say it was frightening, because she had been more or less passed out for most of it.
"It was really startling to wake up with wings though."
