[Joe: Caribbean Sea: Pearl's Brig]

The male let go of Kyle once they were on the ship, landing on his knees and rolling to the side. Sitting up and leaning against the wall, the male grunted. "Go on, Kyle. I'm kinda useless till this poison gets out of my system, and moving around would just make it worse...feels that ay, at least. Go, help them. Sooner we get out of here, the sooner we get to shipwreck cove."

With a sigh, the male leaned his head back and closed his eyes. Yes, eyes. He could open his right eye a little bit, but there was no sight, and he was sure it looked milky white and the scars were horrid to look at, but he didn't care. "You know, once we get there, I'm immediately heading down. We don't need them destroying down there...ignore my rambling at the end. But, we'll need to figure out who will go with me, and who will...something. Can't think."

[Anthony ~.~ Caribbean Sea ~.~ Brig of the Dutchman]

Anthony shared Kyle's bewilderment. This woman who had previous aided the Replicas in their capture was now helping them escape. It didn't make any sense... though neither did a Kingdom Hearts world. Whatever her motives, Sora had confirmed what she was saying was true after investigating the other side of the Corridor that had appeared in their cell.

Anthony overheard Dawn's defiance as well... As much as he agreed with her and would want to stay behind to aid their companion, the warrior-knight knew he was in no position to try and aid James in his present condition. At the mention of his name, Anthony looked up to Kyle and nodded in confirmation, understanding what the spear-wielder needed him to do.

The dark haired man walked over to Dawn, crouching beside her and Noelle, then said, "I'm sorry Dawn, but we don't have time for this right now." Anthony leaned forward, slipped his hands underneath Dawn's thighs and between her calves, then lifted her up and onto his shoulder. "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry," he quickly said repeatedly, apologizing for invading her personal space. He then turned and quickly walked into the portal and moments later found himself in the brig of The Black Pearl.

[Dawn & Elizabeth : Caribbean Sea : Brig of the Dutchman -> Black Pearl]

Dawn glared in the direction of Kyle as he told Anthony and Louis to do what they could to get her off of the ship. Was her desire to help her friend that hard to understand. Were they not going to help him?

"No," Dawn said again when Sora was trying to get her to cooperate, "I refuse. He is my friend, I can't leave him like this."

As Dawn was talking she didn't notice Anthony's approach. She glared at him as he spoke. Before she could say anything in protest or try to move away, he had already picked her up and was heading towards the exit that had been created.

"What! Nooo!" Dawn shouted as she started to kick and squirm her way free, "Let me go, damn it! I am not leaving him behind."

As they crossed the portal, Dawn gave Anthony the hard smack on the back of the head along with a knee to the stomach. The force of the two hits was enough to make her fall onto the floor inside of the Pearl, where she fell hard onto her back near Joe's feet.

Elizabeth could hardly believe what had happened while they were locked up in the brig of this ship. A few of the children had been injured in several ways. And now they were being released. A part of her, like the girl in the other cell, didn't want to leave without those that were missing, Will mainly. But the better part of her mind knew they were no good as they were now. Elizabeth rushed into the portal after Barbossa. After she was on the other side of the portal, she followed them onto the deck where she helped to set the sails for their retreat.

Jacob ll Brig -> The other, less pain and evil brig ll Ship of evil -> Not so evil ship

Jacob almost instantly felt the revitalizing effects of the mega potion. It wasn't perfect, but Jacob felt like he had a shot of piss, vinegar, Monster, and liguid Tylenol in him. He walked over and hugged Celia with and winked at her. "Thanks.". He no-so-suggestedly hugged Sora before looking down at his broken, blood smattered goggles. He palmed them and looked down the hall. He cracked his neck, flicked his arms out and backflipped into the portal, landing and rolling across the floor of the Pearl. He realized he'd forgotten his black tank top. "Meh" He said casually. There would be other shirts and other goggles.

He sprinted to the top of the Pearl and scrabbled up the mainmast. He was good at this job. He'd had plenty of practice. He popped up to the ropes and unlashed set after set of rope that kept the sails furled. Slowly, the sails drooped until the lower one, then the upper ones caught the wind. He didn't come down. Not yet. He continued on and sat in the crow's nest and watched as the Pearl picked up speed. And he waited until the right moment (when the wind had picked up the sails enough) before belting out, <******** YOU REPLICAS AND THE SHIP YOU RODE ON!"

[Anthony ~.~ Caribbean Sea ~.~ Brig of the Pearl]

Anthony didn't care much for the smack to the back of the head. He understood Dawn was upset, and he would be too if he were in her position. However, the knee to the stomach was uncalled for. The force from the blow knocked the wind out of Anthony and caused him to lean forward and drop the girl on his shoulder, who fell and landed near Joe's feet. He wrapped his arms around his stomach as he tried to catch his breath.

"What was that for?!" Anthony shouted, a little upset for receiving a knee to the stomach for only trying to help. "Is that the thanks I get for not leaving you behind to die?!"

[ Crew of the Dutchman's ; Celia : Caribbean : Dutchman ]

The moment movement was spotted, one of the guards had called out to the ship; when they received no response, of course, the started a commotion, getting the first mate's attention, who began to shout again...

... and then the sails unfurled.

"ESCAPE! THEY'RE MAKING AN ESCAPE!" the shark-man shouted, and they began drawing swords, going to cross, except there was no way too cross.

Of course, considering the heavy organ playing from the Captain's quarters, it might have taken a few moments to get a response...

---

Celia smirked slightly, leaning against the wall next to the Stopped Black Waltz as they began to leave. She took a breath, lifted her foot, launched forward almost as if to go after someone- and then stomped on her own shadow, Stopping her self.

[[Louis : Flying Dutchman -/> Black Pearl : Brig -/> Below Deck]]

[[Cue: Ashes of Dreams]]

Louis sat in place, staring at the floor, listening as Celia opened the way to their escape. He continued staring at the floor as one by one everyone filed through the dark portal and made their escape. Louis however was elsewhere. In his mind, he felt something that he was sure wasn't there before. Memories and emotions hidden in the sheets of shadowed past unattainable before but now slowly coming into view.

Everyone's escaping.

Yeah? So what? What about it?

I should move.

I should...

That does seem to be the logical choice.

Heh... logical... right...

What good does logic do anymore?

Nothing. Those who need it just throw it back at me.

No one needs me.

No one wants me.

Why should I care about them?

Because it's all I have.

Why?

Because it's my purpose in this world.

Why?

Because it's what I am.

Why?

Because...

Why?

Without it... I'm worthless.

Why?

Without it... I'm powerless.

Why?

Without it...

I'm nothing...
...nothing
...nothing

Louis got up without glancing around at anyone or acknowledging Sora's presence or comments. Without a word, Louis walked through the portal himself. When he arrived on the other side, he walked past Joe, Dawn, and Anthony as if they were not there at all.

Louis made his way out of the room into an empty space where he collapsed like a puppet cut from its strings to the floor. He laughed to himself a bit as he stared at the wall, "Nothing. Powerless. Worthless." His chuckle grew into outright inward laughter as an old thought he imagined long since buried returned to him, "It's often said every life is priceless. Does that not also mean... every life is worthless? Even mine?"

[Jenny :: Caribbean Sea :: Brig of the Dutchman > Brig of the Pearl]

[Cue: Dispossession (Strings Ver.)]

Jenny sat there; detaching himself from reality. People were shouting across the cell but it all resembled white noise to the mage. She sat unflinching as Louis moved across the length of the cell; to her, he was just a shadow across her vision. Motions blurring as if she sat against a backdrop of time caught on fast-forward. She felt a tear slide down her cheek; her sadness once again renewed by the inevitability of their situation. Their world was falling apart, the threads that held them together were slowly fraying.

They were tearing each other apart, they didn't need the Replicas to do it. Just one push from them, that's all it took. James was gone, Joe was in pain. Alice... her own face, piercing eyes from the darkness of her hood but un-mistakingly hers.

Someone pulled her up and Jenny blinked, feeling the vision of Alice fade back into her mind. The musician returned the smile unthinkingly, though her face still held her heavy thoughts. Jenny followed Sayrike through the portal, her mind placing the pieces together as the darkness enveloped her in more uncertainty before she felt the rush of stale air in her face. They were back on the Pearl.

Without letting go of Sayrike, Jenny turned, taking in the familiarity of Pearl's Brig. She saw the crew, the other Earthlings, Dawn and her anguish before finally resting her eyes on Joe. Jenny bit her tongue; fighting the urge to rush to his side out of fear that she wouldn't know what to say with the guilt of bearing Alice's eyes.

[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl]

Dawn slowly started to sit up as Anthony yelled at her for the kneeing. She stared forward away from anyone who entered the ship from the other. Dawn was upset. She didn't want to be here. Not without saving James.

"I never asked you to get me," she respond rather coldly looking at a wall in the cell, "You are asking me to give thanks for a service I didn't wish for or welcome. You should of just let me stay. I can take care of myself just fine."

{Barbossa : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl Deck}

The lines were severed, the sails unfurled. Barbossa raced up the stairs that lead to the wheel and turned it so their sails were in the wind, setting their sails toward Shipwreck Cove. The burst of speed assured him that this would work right as they started to gain some distance, he heard the yelling from the Dutchman's deck.

"They're onto us!" He yelled to those on the deck, his eyes looking up toward the boy who was up in the Crow's nest as he bellowed out at the Dutchman.

{Davy Jones : Caribbean Sea : Captain's Quarters -> Deck}

Davy Jones had been in his quarters, hearing the organ music as one of the replicas. He didn't care who was playing it. His attention though turned to the yells from the deck and he made his way with his usual limp toward the deck. The doors bursting wide open as the Captain emerged on the deck to see the Pearl sailing away, the wind on their side. His tentacles writhed and his body trembled with rage. His claw of a hand clenched tight.

"All hands to stations! We cannot let them get away!" He bellowed as he rushed up to the wheel and turned it to give chase.

((Loooooks like I picked a bad time to not get on -____- ))

[Carribean Sea ~ Brig of the Dutchman --> Black Pearl]

Noelle tensed when she heard Louis and Jacob shouting at eachother, and did just as Dawn did, hugged the other tighter. She kept her face pressed into Dawn's shoulder, not looking around at any of the others and shivering slightly. Nothing was helping, no matter how any of them tried. But then there came their twist of fate. The agromancer didn't get it, but she was going to take anything they were given. As much as she would have like to be on Dawn's side, she knew it wasn't a good idea. In order to get James back, they needed their freedom.

"Dawn," Noelle said softly, kneeling next to her, "I know you want to help James, but the only wa--"

Anthony scooped her up before the blonde could finish. Leave it to a guy to approach the situation with sensitivity. Rolling her eyes, Noelle stood and followed after everyone, trying to get her head back on straight. The new bit of action had her trying to get back into the game and out of the grief they were striken with not five minutes ago. It wasn't about them any more, it was back to fixing the problems other people had now. Fixing other people's problems was easier than dealing with her own. Now back on the Pearl, the blonde looked around. The Pearl's crew was already restored to position and they were on the move. But just that wouldn't be enough.

"This is only half of it." Noelle said, looking over at Kyle, "We need to be three places at once. We need a plan before we get to Shipwreak Cove so we can start moving right away."

[Kyla: Angel Grove: Streets]
(( sorry for the long mia, my pc is broken, AND we have no internet connection! things are going from bad to worse! but it should be back by next week, I'm sending this message from my friends lap top at another location))

As the opinions flew back and forth, stay, or go, split up or stay together, Kyla had been silent and took everyone's thoughts into careful consideration. She couldn't forget about Terra, helping her was indeed important. Essentially they had two spells ot worry about- whatever was holding Beatrix, Yuffie and Axel, and then the control crown on Terra. How classic that one was.

She appreciate the support from Alan, and Dani. The sensation of Alans hand lingering, reminding her of that fact long after he released it. Riku's words shook her resolve to stay... Various reasons brought the foreground, and as moments passed the gravity of one of the variables was becoming more and more obvious until it simply revealed itself in physical form.
Her Drive.
Their Drive.
She was still new to this power, and thus unstable. there was no telling how long the Drive itself would hold! Even with a steady flow of mana from various sources, if the drive didn't hold-

... speak of the devil...

With a pained groan she caught sight of the trio leaving. Guess there was no point now, and so craning over her expired Drive Partner, Kyla checked to see if she was ok. Tapping the side of her face, Kyla was keenly aware of the absence of Amy's personality mingling with her own. All her confidence and hype was missing... it was almost, sad.
She forced a smile, " Thank you Amy, are you going to be ok?" she offered a hand. " For what it's worth... it was fun."

((sorry for typos- no time! If you need to move on, feel free to puppet me until I return or make posts of my own- basically if my posts take to long to appear- thanks^^'))

[Joe: CS[gettin' lazy]: Brig of Pearl]

The male sighed, grabbing on to Dawn's arm as she was right in front of him. Well, tried to. It took three tries before he could latch on. Damn lack of depth perception that he had to get used to.

The fighter rubbed his thumb on Dawn's arm as he tried to let a sudden dizzy spell pass. Oh, god, poison sucked.

"Dawn, staying there with no magic or weapons is suicide. And getting yourself killed won't save him. Besides, they want to use him. I doubt they'd kill him. We have time to save him. And we will. I promise. Now, excuse-Bwah!"

Joe leaned back and turned to the side, vomiting. Apparently the poison hit his stomach. Or it's just from him feeling like crap in general. Regardless, the male had puked, and he wiped his mouth with his shirt. God, he wanted something to drink to get rid of that nasty bile taste. And for someone to turn on the air conditioning. That'd be nice, too.

[ Kyle ; Sora ; Celia : Caribbean : Below Deck on the Pearl ]

Kyle nodded to Joe, standing still for a moment as he made sure everyone was coming through the portal. Everything was going pretty well; Sora came through last, and that portal closed behind it, allowing for no re-entry. Noelle walked up, glancing to Kyle before speaking.

"Yeah, Joe just said something along those lines," he mumbled, watching as Joe tried to 'console' the more-foolish-each-day Dawn. His brows furrowed as he stared off somewhat. "Only two places, really- Celia said Atlantis is directly underneath Atlantica, so it really only comes down to who would be useful under the sea and near some earth-" he nodded at Noelle, as if making it clear he thought she'd be going along.

"We'll discuss it all after we're sure we're safe- namely, when we have our magic back," he said, going to walk forward- Jacob had already run up, and he felt the ship tug lightly as wind kicked up. They were on the move. Good. As the final canons came through, that portal closed, and they were free.

Still, something caught his eye off to the side. As he'd walked out of the Brig, he caught sight of Louis on the ground nearby, and jogged over to the young man's body. "Hey- hey, Louis, what's wrong?" he asked, shaking the man's shoulder's lightly before turning his body so that he was at least not facing the floorboards. "Come on, man, I know we've been through some s**t, but we're good to go now- you gonna make it?"

Sora had jogged through the brig as well, making his way up to the surface- the Pearl had just been tugged rather strongly by the powerful winds, and he couldn't help but grin. At the same time, however, he was smart enough to be cautious; he'd grabbed one of the crew's spare swords and carried it with him, in case the Replicas or the Nobodies came after them. Upon reaching the deck, he ran up to the helm and looked back on the Dutchman, which was slowly but surely falling behind, with the Endeavor even farther back.

[ Ajora : Caribbean : The Dutchman ]

Ajora hadn't made it any farther than opening the door to the Captain's quarters when he hesitated, his nose wrinkling as something smelled... off. A few moments passed as his eyes remained on Elleon, but his mind elsewhere, before the crew began shouting about an escape.

His eyes bulged, and his entire body was engulfed in a black, crackling aura. He was out on the deck in a matter of moments, right behind Davy as he began shouting orders.

He glared up at the Negator- it would only follow the Dutchman, would only change its course with Zexion's command, and Zexion had left with the other Nobodies some time ago in order to plan other schemes; their job was finished here. Not that he would have sent it anyway- they'd be looking for it now, and it wasn't exactly bulletproof.

Everything was falling apart.

Control. Remain in control.

.:Perhaps it would be okay if you snapped... just this once, hmm~?:.

Forever in control.

"Don't bother, Jones," Ajora growled, the aura around him slowly fading away, though his fists were clenched relatively tightly. His lips were taut, but seemed able to curve (just barely) into a smirk. "The Pearl's uncatchable- you would know, you brought it up from the grave. Besides... we got what we wanted. They're useless anyway."

His eyes narrowed in the direction of the Pearl. Yes, he had his compass... as for now, nothing else mattered.
